Impatience got the better of me and as expected BFN. They say 2 out of 3 ain't bad so here's hoping Bucky & Abby get the BFP's

Sandies Thank you but I know I won't be able to wait that long. I test early because I've had 2 chemical pregnancies since May and if I have another the doctor said she will send me for tests. Well that and the fact I'm just so damn impatient.
My cupboard consists of 3 First response, 4 Clear blue digital and 4 cheapie ebay test. I've also developed a problem with buying sticks to wee on.

i'm sure mine will be negative so am choosing not to test and will just wait for af. I don't have a clue when, or if, I ovulated so maybe there is hope for me yet to get off the rollercoaster

I'm trying to hold out until Sunday but I have a sneaky feeling I will crack tomorrow with FMU I ought to just wait because I just know I'm not PG and I know I will be disappointed but I have to know. This is just mad behaviour.

Poppysocks Lovely to see you aswell. Glad the doctor confirmed PG for you. Thanks for the symptoms info I've read with great interest. AF due Monday and I don't feel PG at all although I did have some tugging sensations during the week they've gone now. I just find it so bloody frustrating how similar AF & PG Symptoms are.

It's going to be a challenge. DH has just been accepted to pursue an MSc on two evenings a week for two years. That, combined with work, baby and DD with brownies and singing lessons and everything else should mean I am a nervous wreck a few months after returning to work . I'm just accepting a baby is a choice that I want to make and it's going to be tough.

Anyway, best say night night as I am shattered at this early hour. This half term has been murder. Roll on next Thursday!

Thought I'd pop in quickly now that I'm back online after a week away.

Sorry it was such a sad weekend for so many. Glad everyone seems a bit more chipper now. It is the weekend and with Christmas just around the corner so lots more distractions from ttc.

Things here fine. Dr confirmed pg today. I remember posting her early pg symptoms on here and I kept going back to them. In case they're useful to anyone else, here were mine:

3/4DPO slight nausea and odd stomach feeling. A bit like the tugging lots of people mention
5 DPO had a really salty taste in my mouth and really thirsty.
6 DPO felt like AF pains
7 DPO about three hours of really quite painful cramps
From 9-13 DPO intermittant and mild waves of nausea, slightly sore boobs and AF pains.
All as above now except the AF pains. (Weirdly for me, the AF pains were a clue as I don't usually get them!)

  • pg test came on 10DPO

Fingers crossed for everyone. Will pop back to see how things are going and hope to see as many of you as pos on the August thread, which I'm about to feel brave and join....

P.S. Judging by the lingo, I suspect we went to the same uni GG. Great place.

sorry Abby, so excited when I read where you were I missed the Dc question. I had my DC before I became a teacher. DD is 21, DS's are 19,12 and DGS is 2.5. GS has lived with us for over 18 months and it was hard in the beginning, but managable. Timing is everything I believe.

It's a small world! No, I lived in Scarborough until 2006. I moved when I got married and started teaching at the local school. It's very good, so I wanted to live in the catchment area to ensure that DD gets in when she's old enough (She's currently Year 5).

Sandies - did you stay in teaching when you had DCs? Were you full time? If I do have a baby, I'll have to go back to full time work quite soon afterwards. I have no choice, and I'm curious about how hard it is to manage our workload with a baby. I'm guessing it will be a joyous few first years!

Sandies - you too! I don't get AF symptoms really. I cramp an hour before, I cry the day before and eat a lot. Though I do eat a lot generally, especially when it's cold . So, most of the symptoms are from my cruel brain trying to trick me!

Sandies - have had loads. I'm getting a lot of AF pain on and off, and have sore boobs. I've also been emotional. However, since ttc I have had convincing symptoms every month, and still nothing. Am trying not to get my hopes up - which is pretty hard to do. Testing early, on Sunday, just to see .

Sandies - are we cycle buddies too? (Same CD?) I'm CD23 today. Only 5 days to go, but feels like months...

ARGH!!! It began! I forgot to tell the fitters we were keeping our oven - it was only 2 months old. Note the "was". It now lays in pieces on my drive! They were really embarrassed and wanted to pay half towards a new one, but I don't think that's fair as it was my fault . DH is despairing of me. Hope it's pg silliness that made me forget to tell them. Suspect it's just tiredness though from cats banging their way into the room at 5am, purring loudly and taking turns to sleep on my head.
