Thank you @Kiaa. Although I am finding it harder to lose the weight as time goes on but feel losing a couple of pounds a week will help keep the weight off in the long run. Good luck to you

@Borolass84 good job losing weight I've been doing the same just in case it gets to the 1 year mark

Thanks @has30 told the doc I aim to lose another stone as needed to as I’m not exactly tall haha. Also doc said if I go IVF route they don’t accept smokers. I’m currently a smoker but cutting down so less cigarettes using my ecig more to reduce cigarette intake further. Not sure if that will affect day 8 and 21 bloods like as I’m aiming to be off the cigarettes totally in about a week

@Kiaa I'm on day 2 of flashing faces!! It's horrible isn't it! Almost worse than waiting for a positive test haha!

Hi everyone!!

I got a positive OPKs on 27th and 28th so assuming I’m around 5/6dpo. Don’t feel any different as of yet, I think I’ll be mega shocked if we’ve conceived this month for some reason! You know when you just feel like it’s not worked this cycle? I don’t know why I just don’t have my hopes high at all!

I’m awaiting day 8 and 21 bloods via GP. Due to losing 1.5 stone my BMI is now below 30 so can be referred to fertility clinic if needed.

The clearblue flashing smiley faces are driving me crazy 5 days in a row 😂

@whymewhyme welcome. So sorry to hear how your TTC number 2 is going. Really hope it happens for you soon.

@Kiaa and @kmbegs let's hope this is our month!! I'm holding off my clearblue sticks for the moment as I'm pretty sure I ovulate quite late in the cycle (considering dates for my first) so will start them on Monday! Ive heard a lot of good things about pre seed. Will be interesting to see how your month goes! Good luck both!!

@whymewhyme so sorry to hear about the MC. And fingers crossed that it isn't AF. This stuff is hard isn't it? I'm on month 8 now (well cycle 8, month 9) and feel like just giving up but can't. I feel so conscious of the ever growing age gap between my daughter and a potential sibling.

@has30 I'm approaching fertile window too, although after a crazy long cycle last month I've no idea what to expect, really hope it's not another super long one. I'm using pre-seed this cycle so we'll see if that makes any difference. Fingers crossed! I'm 35 in two weeks and GOD I would do anything for a BFP birthday present!

TTC for 14 months with a MC in between. I'm so fed up, I'm due today, i was hoping it was a no show but I've just wiped and their was slightly brown and stingy discharge so i guess I'm out now. Sending luck to everyone else xx

How's everyone getting on? Anyone close to testing? I'm a few days off my fertile window excited to start another month off after what feels like forever since AF started!

I used natural cycles to conceive my daughter but with disrupted sleep I think it becomes less accurate, combined with my cycles being longer since having her I was never sure it was accurate.

This was my first month using ovulation testing and I used clearblue digital.
We dtd on the Wednesday with negative LH test that morning, then tested Thursday morning and got a static smiley face to indicate it was my Lh surge so did it again that night, then negative Lh test on the Friday.

Apparently you usually get a flashing smiley face first to indicate the hormones are rising but I missed that so can only assume it started at some point in the day after I tested!

@WingingIt101 is this your first time using ovulation sticks? Did you DTD on your surge day? It will be my first month this month using them and I'll be so interested to see how different it is to the apps!

I’m so pleased for you. How long have you been ttc? I’m currently using the OVIA app to calculate my ovulation dates. The apps now saying 2 days til fertile window. That’s the thing with these apps; I jotted down on it that I thought I had implantation bleeding but doesn’t seem to have recorded it as that.
