TTC #2

@L0ts thanks! After all my venting and anxiety yesterday, I decided to stop being scared of POAS and did this am. I’m 11 DPO and I got a faint positive. I am still experiencing AF like back aches, so I’m concerned that it may be a chemical, but after so many months of nothing, I’m grateful to see a line, at least once.

@blueberryy You are right about testing early! I wish I hadn’t tbh but I just felt so odd yesterday. In fact all of today I have had the same aches that I’ve been complaining about on and off for the last 3/4 days!

AF arrived cycle day 26 last month and I’m now at cycle day 27 but in my own head (without the help of an app predicting it) I would be expecting her tomorrow.

Also sorry it’s taking you a long time this time around 😩 it took us ten months to conceive my son and that was pretty hard going, I really thought it would never happen! Hang in there ✨

@L0ts fingers crossed. I see a little line, and I know photographs don’t always show what you’re seeing. It’s tough testing this early because you just never know.

With my first born, I had a chemical the month before I fell pregnant with him. So I hold onto hope that’s even if a pregnancy is a chemical, there’s good news ahead.

Top is yesterday afternoon and bottom is 24 hours later

Held a wee for about 2.5 hours but drank nothing, couldn’t wait any longer as I was bursting 😂 What do we all think? This is definitely a tad darker than last nights but just worried about that negative result this morning.

@Kiaa You are right, she is still 2/3 days away.

I tested yesterday afternoon after holding a wee for around 2/3 hours (but had drank a fair bit) and I thought I was going crazy but I saw a faint line.

Decided to hold a wee again for as long as possible and not drink anything, managed to hold it for 3 hours and an even more obvious (albeit still faint) line popped up, I noticed it whilst it was still developing. This was the one I posted last night.

Disheartening to think it’s a chemical or maybe two false positives 😔 I guess we will find out over the next couple of days!

@RunningOnHope DS took 4 months so this has taken us by complete surprise. Frustrating. Keeping fingers crossed for you that it’s implantation!

Well I tested again with fmu (12 hours after last nights test) and it looks almost negative, maybe the faintest of faint lines 😩 Not sure what to think now! I think I’m about 11dpo today!

Hi @blueberryy, sorry you've had a long journey so far, must be really frustrating. How long did it take to conceive #1? Hope the back pain doesn't turn out to be AF, and that you'll be celebrating in a few days time...

I am 8dpo, with a short luteal phase (usually 10 days), and had some spotting last night - bright pink, just on wiping. There was a faint bit left on wiping first thing this morning, but not the last two times (trying to resist the urge to KEEP going to the loo to check!) so it's either implantation or pre-AF spotting, which I do get sometimes but usually turns into full AF pretty quickly. So just a waiting game today really.

@L0ts have you done another one this morning?? I felt like I could see a little something!

I’ll pipe in here. TTC #2 and been at it for nearly a year. Suuuucks so much. Went to get all tests done and DH and I are fine, so all of this is just unexplained 🤷🏻‍♀️ It just feels so silly to be so hopefully the first few days after ovulation and to get obvious AF signs.

We used pressed this cycle and I was so hopefully, but I’ve had three days of lower back pain so I’m feeling like AF is due to arrive soon 😞

@Dav87 your chart looks perfect, you're definitely still in! And totally agree with what @L0ts has said - I never knew I was pregnant with my first pregnancy, I only tested because my period was late, and they say every pregnancy is different so even if you had lots of symptoms last time doesn't mean you will this time. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. My temps have been so up and down I've no idea when I ovulated or DPO so feel this TWW is going to be even more horrendous than usual

@dav87 So sorry you’re having these feelings. I know how you feel though, I also just feel out. I really had so many symptoms by this point with my son so to have none now, just makes me think meh, it’s not this month. I also naughtily did a test last night on an IC and it was the biggest negative ever. I should be around 10-12dpo today.

You aren’t out yet though, there is still plenty of time before AF shows!! 🤞🏻And as I’m sure we’ve all read, it is perfectly normal to have no symptoms at all. My SIL had NO clue she was pregnant at all, the two weeks before AF was due she felt 100% normal. She only tested because her period was late. She also went on to have a relatively symptom free pregnancy 🤷🏻‍♀️

11 DPO today and still not a single symptom, so think we’re out this month 😞
With DD1 I just “knew” so I’ve pretty much given up hope and just waiting for AF to show her ugly face on the weekend!
My chart temps are still good, but expecting them to come down over the next few days.
Such an exhausting rollercoaster every month - feeling very down today 😢

Ergh just came to the realisation my last cycle was only 26 days long, so that means I’d be due on tomorrow. Praying AF stays away 😩🤞🏻

@Dav87 I’m doing okay thank you, I wouldn’t exactly say I have any symptoms tbh! I really just don’t feel like this is the month. I was quite achy around my pelvis/groin/hips the first half of yesterday but for the most part I was okay!

I KNEW I was pregnant from around 6dpo with my son, I just absolutely knew we had conceived and I said to myself next time I’d know it too, so I think that’s why I feel out.. but I guess you never know 😩 Period is due Friday-Sunday.

Weird isn’t it that you feel happy to be feeling sick? I’m always the same 😂😂

Everyone is different with pregnancy symptoms With my dd I only had 1 zapping symptom that was it maybe I was chilled back then 😂

So I’m awake at 3am, I woke up cos I was feeling sick! Now did I eat too much at teatime or is this a good sign? 😬🤞🏻

Still no other symptoms, 10 DPO today.

You are doing so well @Dav87, keep up the self control!

I have zero symptoms. AF due at the weekend, Friday or Saturday, but I sort of just don't feel like I will have a period then. No reason, just psychological, too much hope I guess. But DP is convinced I must have a subconscious connection to my body that knows I'm pregnant and that's why I don't feel like I'll get a period.

@L0ts It’s so hard not to get all hung up on symptom spotting! I felt so sad today as I don’t have a single symptom other than my chart looking good with the “dip”! ☹️

But then it’s perfectly normal not to have any symptoms so early, and the logical side of me knows that but the TTC side of me is very irrational 😂

I’m 9DPO today, 5 more days until AF is due and I will test. Let’s hope I haven’t driven myself crazy by then!
