@PeanuttyButter @SunnySideUp2020 They suggested next Tuesday or Wednesday but they are busy days at work for me and I'd rather leave it closer to 6 weeks so that I'm more likely to see more on my next scan. I'll have to call them to book next week's scan tomorrow. Will probably try 12pm in my Lunchbreak again next Thursday. X

SunnySideUp2020 · 09/09/2021 17:11

@H0peing
Good news! Sounds normal so far. When is the next scan?

@PeanuttyButter
I am in the tww. 5 dpo...

PeanuttyButter · 09/09/2021 17:09

@H0peing it's as positive as it can be then! That's something to hold on to. What day is your scan next week? Mines still a week away. Been very crampy today.

Ladies where are everyone else in their journeys/cycle at the moment? Anyone in the tww? Sending positive thoughts your way x

H0peing · 09/09/2021 13:09

Just had my scan and they could see a gestational sac but, given that my miscarriage was 5 only weeks ago, they have said that it is still too early to see anything else and that I should have another scan next week. X

Babyghirl · 09/09/2021 10:18

@HOpeing
I knw gs and I can still feel it niggling away down there so think it will be out sooner rather than l8r again lol.

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:43

@Babyghirl Good news that they finally have a plan for what to do in future but so frustrating that they didn't sort it out sooner! Xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:40

@PeanuttyButter is your scan next week? Congrats on being 6 weeks today! I hope you find more and more moments to enjoy this pregnancy as it progresses! Xx

I'm OK. Nervous about my 5 week scan tomorrow but also trying to enjoy this time as much as possible. Xx

Babyghirl · 08/09/2021 21:38

@HOpeing
Not a thing gs doc said nxt time it comes back to phone her and she will referre me to A&E and they will phone me with a time to go down so that's a good thing 💚

PeanuttyButter · 08/09/2021 21:33

@H0peing I'm plodding along, 6 weeks today. Few waves of nausea during the day and super tired but wouldn't say my nausea has kicked in yet. Still not positive but trying not to taint the time with being anxious. Next week can't come quick enough though! How are you, how are you feeling?

So sorry @elm7 thinking of you xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:24

@Babyghirl How are you? Any help with your cyst yet? Xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:21

@PeanuttyButter How are you feeling today? When is your next scan? Xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:18

@apwilso An anniversary bfp would be really lovely! I hope you get your extra special anniversary bfp! Xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:17

@Spotsmama an advent calendar for the tww would probably sell really well!! Could be lots of extra special treats in there and encouraging words along the way! Hope you get your bfp soon xxxx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:14

@treesall Congratulations!!!! 13 weeks!!! That's such great news!!! I hope you're enjoying your pregnancy Xx

H0peing · 08/09/2021 21:09

Hello everyone! Wow! New thread! @Annny27 thanks!

I've been back at work after the six week hols and very busy so not been checking this thread as often as I was during the hols. It's been helpful to be busy as it's still very early days in this pregnancy for me so helps to keep my mind a bit busier. Got my first scan booked at 12pm tomorrow, which is only 5 weeks since my last miscarriage and I'm honestly not sure what to expect. Partly excited but very scared too. Had a huge argument with DH yesterday as he had a go at me because I said something to upset him and then I asked him to give me a break and basically outpoured every bit of fear and anger in his direction telling him that he had no idea how it feels to have gone through miscarriage 4 times with all of the bleeding, physical pain and then emotional roller coaster on top of it all and how I'm not sure if I can keep going through this journey if it doesn't work out again!!! He seemed shocked to hear it all in one go! Whoops! All of this can be so tough on relationships! Xx

Hi Ladies sorry haven’t been on for a few days.

We had a change of plan and didn’t have op on Monday.

Lost the baby Sunday night at home. Went in Mon morning and they scanned me to make sure everything had gone and so came back home and spent the day on the sofa with my hot water bottle (whilst sat in shorts it was quite a look - no sign of summer for months and then when I need a hot water bottle we have a f’ing heatwave 🤦🏼‍♀️😂)

Sun night was horrific as I had to collect it to be able to take it to the hospital for genetic testing (which is why I’d opted for the op as didn’t want to deal with that but my body had other ideas) and my DH face is something I will never forget. xx

MrsF111 · 08/09/2021 13:02

Thanks for the new thread!
Jealous of the puppies @Babyghirl your dogs are gorgeous.
@treesall congratulations!

I called the doctors last week and have a phone consultation on Monday! Takes so long, still no period, haven’t tested for a week so really need to do so but I’m just not ready to see another negative test. Will try and do one in the morning. Currently on CD49. Although I told the doctors I hadn’t had one for 2 months as I didn’t count my weird spotting bleed back in July

ElsieG3m · 08/09/2021 13:02

@treesall thank you so much! That's really helpful. I'll get in touch with them to see if I can get an appointment. Do you know what other tests he ran? I have recurrent BV at a very low level but only recently learned that it can cause miscarriages. I didn't have any treatment for my pregnancy with my daughter so maybe I just got lucky but no such luck since then. Congratulations on your pregnancy and keeping everything crossed for you! Xx

Babyghirl · 08/09/2021 09:55

@ELM7
How r you doing x

Babyghirl · 08/09/2021 09:55

@treesall
Congratulations so happy for you your getting your wee rainbow baby 💐

kiwi17 · 08/09/2021 09:29

@Spotsmama it's the worst! And you start all hopeful and then hopes get dashed so soon :(

We're having a break from ttc this month so hopefully that'll help!

PeanuttyButter · 08/09/2021 09:20

@treesall congratulations on your pregnancy and so great that you're at 13weeks and all seems well. So happy for you xx

treesall · 08/09/2021 08:16

Hi @ElsieG3m I went to see Dr Shehata at the CRP clinic. All my tests came back normal, except my natural killer cells were overactive. He started me on treatment of hydroxychloroquine, aspirin, progesterone and monthly intralipid infusions. It's way too soon to say whether it's successful or not, But I got pregnant first cycle, and am now 13 weeks. I've had several scans and each one has been normal, and my miscarriages & chemicals all happened much earlier than this so I am desperately hoping this is the one!

Not everyone seems to believe the Nk cells thing so only some clinics test for them. It seems to be Dr S' specialism. He claims to have an 80% success rate, though I'm not sure exactly what that means if I'm honest. Happy to share any more info with you so feel free to ask. Best of luck, I really hope you get some answers.
