🦕🦕 The dinosaur crew - part 8 ttc after mc 🦕🦕

Had my two scans today. My first was ultrasound and they said was all clear they didn't have to do an internal scan but said as I was there they may aswell so my consultant didn't send me at a later date. Again this was all clear. So now just need to hear how my eggs are from the blood test I had last week 🤞🏻

@Equimum I'm 32, but have this limit in my head of not wanting to be pregnant after 37 and we want 2!

More cramping today and I'm so tired, so glad it's the weekend but it will be hard to not waste FRERs when I'll likely get BFNs

@Annny27 glad you’ve got a idea on timescale for surgery. Hope appointments come together to keep you on track for it.

So glad you got good news today Spotsmama, but unfortunately, I think it's inevitable that any of us will relax after what we've all been through. I know it's a cliche, but can you try just taking one day at a time.

Welcome katewitch, although sorry you find yourself here. The anxious balance between time to grieve and trying to make sure you don't run out of time is a really tough balance. Can I ask how old you are?

@Spotsmama that is such positive news but of course you'll still worry, just try to hold onto it with each day that goes by

I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks in July which would have been DH & I's first baby. I had to leave work bleeding and the whole thing was just awful. I don't think I ovulated in August (long irregular cycles anyway and it took ages for my hcG to get to zero. I had a positive First Response in August that I mistook for a new pregnancy (the negative I'd had at the EPAU was clearly less sensitive) which was so upsetting.

I'm about 9-10dpo now by my reckoning and having the cramps and light nausea I'd had with the pregnancy in June and it's sending my brain into overdrive... I'm trying so hard not to symptom-spot but they're just there and I know regardless I'll be so disappointed when my period shows up. I'd love to have a break from TTC to grieve properly but we're old enough that that's not a viable option I'm just not sure how to keep my head on straight and I don't want to bore DH with it or get his hopes up!

Morning, we had a reassurance scan this morning which showed I am 7 weeks and 3 days. Didn't hear the heartbeat but we were shown the flicker it made. I've never had a positive scan before.
I feel a little bit calmer now but also worried as I know I can still mc and previously did so at 8 and 9 weeks. How on earth do you get through the next 5 week wait until the 12 week scan???
One worried, anxious emotional mess over here.

So due date day is nearly over and I'll be glad to see the back of it. Obv at kicked in fully this morning so it's been a gutting day full of emotional and physical pain so that's great. It's just the worst even though I know how lucky I am to have our little girl and am clinging tight to her today ❤ I hope everyone else is keeping their chins up x

Cd16 for me today and if I relax anymore I will fall over. Nice dinner on pull pork burgers for oh getting home from work.

I'm around 7dpo and 4 days away from the dreaded period if she comes! Just sat at work and I've just lightning vag! Really bad. Anyone had this. Googled and said it could be early pregnancy but god knows

Oh PeanuttyButter, I am so sorry. I totally get what you mean - not getting pregnant would probably be less painful that being given hope and having it snatched away. Take care of yourself and best wishes for Friday. As everyone else has said, we're here for you.

Thanks guys, i know I'm not alone. I've had a few 'well at least you know you can get pregnant" comments but that's not the point is it. What's the point in getting pregnant if it's not going to result in a baby. Id rather have BFN than have a brief BFP. Probably means I won't be pregnant by my first miscarriage due date too.
