@birdbybird nope nothing at all unfortunately, I have adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis as well so they should be doing a laparoscopy but no luck yet

birdbybird · 27/10/2021 15:28

@Marvellouslymadmum I was wondering if you’d had an HSG as part of any investigations?
I had one two weeks ago and the results were inconclusive.

Marvellouslymadmum · 27/10/2021 12:08

@Catconfusion thank you, I've taken my last clomid tablet today, and not notice any side effects other than yesterday and today a slight pain in the right ovary 🤞🏻 xx

October1979 · 25/10/2021 19:18

That's good news @Honey2 keeping everything crossed for you. Yes I will follow up this week re referral and results. Hopefully I'm due some good luck soon xx

@October1979 that’s frustrating you haven’t heard anything yet. Can you call and enquire about the referral? I’m doing ok… 8 weeks on Wed. I have my follow up scan at recurrent MC clinic on Nov 4th where I should be 9 weeks. Trying not to over think things or google too much. Just keeping everything crossed it’s still good news, one step at a time.

You are in my thoughts and I am keeping everything crossed for you xx

October1979 · 25/10/2021 18:56

Hi @Honey2 I am doing well. Still not heard back from pathology for a reason for miscarriage. That's been 2 months now. Also no referral letter yet but trying to stay positive that it still might happen. How are you getting on? Xx

How is everyone doing? @October1979 how are you getting on? Xx

Catconfusion · 25/10/2021 17:01

Aww thanks @99pctpractice we have an 18 month old boy so very exciting to have one of each. Another boy would have been lovely too. Just glad she’s looking healthy. Xx

99pctpractice · 25/10/2021 13:19

Happy birthday @October1979 ! Totally understand the anxiety of time running out, I have definitely shifted a few goal posts since starting ttc. fingers crossed for your fertile week :)

@Catconfusion congratulations on finding out it’s a girl!! Super exciting! I can’t remember if your little one is a boy or girl?!

Congrats @ponymum1980 as well - great to hear all is progressing well!

Catconfusion · 25/10/2021 06:41

Aww @October1979 Happy birthday! I can understand it will have been a tough one. Just remember life can change very quickly. I can imagine that’s tough when so much time has passed but even now it can change. I fell pregnant not long after my 40th and then my 42nd. For me I felt down but then like you say got myself into a more positive place. There was something regenerating about getting a year older and getting my head straight. I really hope it now happens for you. Xx

Catconfusion · 25/10/2021 06:38

@Marvellouslymadmum I’ve got my fingers crossed for you. It worked first time for my mum and she’s not had a period in 6 months so hopefully it’ll do the trick. It’ll be lovely for you to know when O will be. I hated the uncertainty of it all. Anyway, I hope the scan goes well and those eggs are starting to live up ready. Xx

Catconfusion · 25/10/2021 06:35

Congratulations @ponymum1980. Such lovely news! Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 24/10/2021 14:17

@October1979 happy belated birthday, I went through the same thing back in March and on the way to my 43rd! 🙈 but hey ho we match on - I'm not 50 yet, maybe I'll give up then! 😂

October1979 · 24/10/2021 11:49

It's good to hear all the pregnancies are going really well. If been a bit quiet on here of late. Just had my 42nd birthday last week. It's amazing how another birthday brings on anxiety of time running out. I had a low week but back to a more hopeful and positive place now. Just gearing up for my fertile week x

@Catconfusion it'll all be so worth it in the end!
Thank you, I'm on day 2 of the clomid, I don't think there are any side effects so far though I may be ever so slightly emotional lol my scan is booked for cd12 which is Tuesday 2nd November I just hope it actually does something!!

@ponymum1980 that's lovely to hear, congratulations I'm really glad it went well

ponymum1980 · 24/10/2021 10:12

Just a wee update. The first scan was amazing. Incredible how much they move about. I cried through the whole thing. Can't even tell you the relief. My estimate of the due date as 29th April was off by a day and is the 30th April 2022, so we're 13+1. Send massive hugs to everyone. X

Catconfusion · 24/10/2021 10:11

Thank you so much @Marvellouslymadmum it’s so exciting. I’m feeling like we’ll get to complete our family. This pregnancy has been gruelling with the hyperemesis and anxiety. I don’t think I could go through it again.

How are you getting on? When is your follicle scan? I really hope the Clomid works. Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 24/10/2021 08:24

@Catconfusion that's amazing news I'm just so pleased for you! Xx

Catconfusion · 24/10/2021 07:54

Thanks @Littlemiss41andfabulous I’ve been so anxious during this pregnancy. After all the losses it’s been hard to believe it would be ok. Everything is looking great though so hopefully it’ll get easier now. Xx

Littlemiss41andfabulous · 24/10/2021 07:47

Wonderful news @Catconfusion. Glad you able to start feeling excited now. XxX

Catconfusion · 24/10/2021 07:40

Hi ladies, I hope you’re all doing ok.

Just a little update from me. I’m now 17 weeks and had a gender scan yesterday and we found out we’re having a little girl. I burst into tears at the scan because the movements have died down a lot over the last week so I was a bit worried something was wrong. Thank goodness all is well. We have an 18 month little boy who will make the best big brother. We’re actually getting excited now and feeling very grateful. Xx

Marvellouslymadmum · 23/10/2021 22:51

@99pctpractice ahh yes same as me, as I have children from a previous relationship I'm eligible for clomid but that's it.

99pctpractice · 22/10/2021 20:45

Thanks, @Catconfusion that’s a good point, given it isn’t until Dec, I think I’ll hang on to the appointment until closer to the time. @Marvellouslymadmum as I’m over 40 and already have a little boy I don’t think I would have a shot at eligibility for nhs ivf in any case, but I guess if they found something else wrong then they might be able to do something about it….

@ponymum1980 hope the scan went well today and very glad to hear you’re feeling better and so hopefully the morning sickness is nearly over!

@Lemonbell I’m sorry I don’t know much about how the sticks work! I got an Ava second hand on eBay (so way cheaper than retail) to track my cycle, which I found super helpful. but it only works on the basis of temping so I guess might not be as accurate as the sticks in telling you when ovulation happens….

Marvellouslymadmum · 22/10/2021 10:48

@Lemonbell I don't use the one steps as I found them quite unreliable for myself but I'd say that definitely looks like a positive or at least on its way to one, what I usually do is keep using opk every day until my bbt has risen and stays elevated for more than 3 days then I know I've definitely ovulated ok. I get false ovulation a lot and can easily get 4/5 peaks in a month and I know it's not uncommon for others to get the same
