I have been trying to conceive my first child for the last two years.
I've suffered two miscarriages both at the 5/6 week mark. The first was Christmas day 2019 and the second was in July this year.
I've just finished ovulating, must be no more than 2dpo.
I know this is madness but I swear i'm pregnant. I just know.

@Greytminds

Im sorry for your loss. I hope you get a referral to a recurrent miscarriage clinic. There was a recent trial that showed that progesterone is effective in preventing miscarriages when early bleeding occurs. There’s an infographic to share with GP or doc to encourage them to prescribe it: www.tommys.org/sites/default/files/legacy/PRISM%20Infographic_v4_1.pdf

When you do get pregnant again it could be worth sharing it with GP or whoever else is involved in your post miscarriage care.

I know how hard it is - 5 years and 3 miscarriages before I got referred and finally had my daughter. I hope you get the support you need. Much love x

Thank you-I will be sharing this with doctor. I have been referred to hospital for tests so hopefully they will have a bit more time than the GP to talk. Your support is appreciated xx

@srh96

I am so sorry for your loss my love. I've been thinking about you today.

Your baby existed inside you, and you knew before anyone possibly could have. That's mother's instinct. Sending you love, please be gentle to yourself.

Take care x

Thanks...that made me cry (in a good way). Important to remember that my baby did exist and I felt it somehow. I wrote a letter to my doctor explaining EVERYTHING. They just called me to say they are referring me to gynecology. So maybe i'll get some help x

So sorry to hear your update.

Yes, try and get a doctors appointment. Hideous that so many are still so hard to get hold of.

@Noodella18

Just to say that I had daily bleeding with my daughter for the whole of the first trimester and everything was totally fine. Fingers crossed for you.
Thanks for trying to give me hope but my baby has gone. I have lost all symptoms and test is negative. XXX

Keeping you in my mind and prayers @Amy123456789 🙏🏻

MrsToadflax · 07/09/2021 22:30

So sorry op. Definitely worth asking for investigation after 3 losses. It could be something like needing progesterone to help sustain a pregnancy. You should be able to request a face-to face with GP. Go armed with information. So hard, but keep the hope.Thanks

Bundaberg84 · 07/09/2021 22:00

Totally understandable! Is there any chance of changing your doctor?

Amy123456789 · 07/09/2021 21:54

@Bundaberg84

Ehmmm... Yeah. And maybe find a new doctor? What a prick.
To be honest,he was a bit of a prick. He's got my medical notes. He can see ive had a bit of a struggle and all the fertility tests....pretty obvious I didn't call for a termination. I don't really understand why its still impossible to see doctor face to face-other jobs are back in the workplace. Sometimes you just need to talk properly to your doctor...like now x

MissMaple82 · 07/09/2021 21:00

I've been pregnant 5 times in total and each one I knew I was pregnant before a pregnancy test told me so!

Funtimedreamer · 07/09/2021 20:52

Can you go to the early pregnancy unit ? Sorry I’m not sure at what stage you can go there , others can advise

seekingsolace2 · 07/09/2021 20:44

@Amy123456789 please do find another doctor with whom you can discuss the bleeding. Prayers for you and baby..don't lose hope!!
