Cycle 2 of TTC - anyone else?

So I'm still awaiting AF (currently 13/14DPO according to my apps but I had no peak LH this month). I've taken a test on 11/12DPO and it was a BFN so it's just a waiting game for AF now I think.

Anyone else amazed when reading everything on here? Firstly the abbreviations and also how many things affect conception? 😩 I'm already petrified it'll never happen.

I'm 26, DH is 27. My BMI is over 50 (I'm working on this but it's a slow process) and have been pregnant before when BMI was around 53 but we had to have a medical termination 😭 It's taken me 2 years to get over it and we've now decided it's the right time to TTC and we've had the 'ok' that it's safe from the doctors.

Anyway, sorry for the waffling!

Anyone else about to start cycle 2? 🥰

@Itsjustme20 ohhhhh that sounds hopeful! I have well and truly messed up my diet this eve. Takeaway and ice cream 🤦‍♀️ don't even know why I bothered because I literally cannot taste anything still

It would be a huge surprise if I am 😂 Um possibly but not sure if they're just cycle related!

I've had like lower abdomen pulling sensation for the last 2 weeks and bizarre cravings for certain foods (I desperately wanted beans today for instance 😂) and I've felt just 'odd' but I have lowered some medication so it could be that! X

It's really annoying! We've been away this week but I'm home tomorrow so I'm going to test when I'm home. It would be amazing if it is a BFP - they said as I have long-ish cycles it's possible to have a late HCG surge.

Honestly it's insane! They always teach you that you have sex, you get pregnant. I wish it was that easy 😂😂

@Itsjustme20 that is so annoying! I don't get why this has to be so complicated!! Just give me a baby already! 🤣🤣 I really didn't think trying for a baby was this intense- although I am actually making it more intense by POAS every day🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

It's horrid having to wait another 2 weeks again isn't it!! 😩😩

I haven't a clue when I'm next fertile. I'm now 6 days late and no sign of AF either. My docs have said to do another test tomorrow as levels can rise really slowly in some people but are usually detectable at 7 days. We shall see but I doubt it'll be a BFP 😂 I think they just wanted me off the phone 😂 x

@Itsjustme20 it's still super early for me but I'm quietly confident this month has failed! Wish I didn't have to wait another two weeks to get started again. Bloody false positives 🤣 when's your next fertile time? X

Ah no!! 😩 I had a couple of IC tests show up positive but the FRER was very negative 😩 It's heartbreaking!

@Itsjustme20 thank you!! I did another one this morning and it's very negative so was defo a dodgy test. Was fun while it lasted though 🤣🤣🤣

@hoola23 I've heard you get a lot of CM during pregnancy but then sometimes you just get more some months than others so I don't want to get your hopes up too much! What DPO are you? Too early for an FRER? X

@MissLB maybe this is where I'm going wrong🤣 I usually do the last day of BD the day I get my peak opk! We rarely BD other than my fertile week as I'm so exhausted 🤣🤣 I'm clutching at straws at the mo but I still feel mild period pain almost like a full or pulling sensation and lots of CM which is ever so slightly yellowConfused what could that be?!

@hoola23 yeah I BD that day and the next two days. Then try to go back to every other day depending on my shifts vs his. :)
I've had absolutely no symptoms this month so I'm not keeping my fingers crossed xx

The TWW is horrendous isn't it. You really do super over analyse everything during it whereas before TTC it never bothered us I'm sure 😂 x

@Itsjustme20 it's crazy what you find out when you start tracking all this stuff! I've been tracking for the last 6 months as I wanted to understand my cycles fully before we started trying. I'm pretty confident it's not implantation and I'm probably super over analysing 🤣🤣 the two week wait literally messes my head!

Oh really! How interesting! I'll get some OPKs but maybe it's AF on the way. Although I'm very keen to BD if you get my drift which I'm usually like during ovulation 😂

Period pain like cramps 6DPO is hopefully a good sign as it could be implantation 🤞🏼 for you! X

@MissLB once you hit your peak, do you keep BDing after that?! I usually give up on that day but I think maybe this is where I've gone wrong as it could be up to 36 hours after the peak that you ovulate- god it's all so confusing!

@Itsjustme20 I've tracked CM for a few months now and I can get EWCM even two days before AF as well as during the fertile week so I've given up monitoring that! I'd defo get some opk though just to make sure! I actually have very very mild period pain twinges which is defo not normal at 6dpo

@hoola23 yeah I do because my cycle are all over the place. And I work shifts so difficult to do anything with regularity. I've managed to hit a peak at every month thkugh. I know a few people who have struggled with fertility never get a peak. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's a good sign (well holding onto that). Xx

It's weird! Usually around 30ish. Vary from 28-35 over the last 6 months with one of 38.

I've had no CM this month but today I've had EWCM so I'm wondering if I've ovulated really late. I'm going to pop to town tomorrow for some OPKs but I don't know if it'll be too late now to see a peak 🤷🏽‍♀️
