Cycle 2 of TTC - anyone else?

@Lauren94laffertyx I get it now!! It would be unusual to get a positive opk that close to your period. Opk can be positive when you're pregnant. If you had two positive tests but then had a period then you're right it could have been a chemical. I would keep doing preg test to see if the lines stay positive and dark, if so I would speak to your gp. Best of luck x

Yea sorry it's prob the way I've wrote it out. I got a positive ovulation test when my period was due then I took another one to check when my period 3 days late and it was positive. Also 1 week ago I had 2 positive faint line pregnancy tests. So I found it strange how I could ovulate right before my period. Then I started bleeding for 3 days now it's stopped. Took another preg test and has a faint line. Maybe it was a chemical ? Just wondering if I did ovulate late is this a thing then you can get a period ? Not sure what has gone on if that makes Sense.

Your period usually arrived around 2 weeks after you ovulate so if you ovulated on Sunday you wouldn't be due for another two weeks depending on your cycle length. Sometimes periods can be lighter, sometimes heavier x

Sorry for butting in guys but can anyone help ???

So on Sunday I had sex and also had 2 strong positive lines on my ovulation test that day. So that was fine, also my period was 3 days late, so I was confused as to why the lines were positive. Also got my period on the 4th day it would have been late again... only bled for 3 days, the first day it was light then went red like a gush of it then calmed and now it's stopped and gone really dark brown which is weird, I usually bleed for 5 days plus on the 3rd days it's still usually bright red and heavy. Just rather confused tbh.... could I have ovulated late on ?? Plus I have the weirdest minty taste in my mouth 😩it's driving me mental. Anyone have anything similar?

Well still no AF but still BFN so I'm pretty sure that spotting was just the start of AF and she will arrive shortly

@hoola23 I was 11 DPO when the pinky/brown CM first came. And then it's was about 36 hours before AF fully started. Last month I was 16 DPO before AF came and month before was 17 DPO. Was hopeful it was IB as it was so much earlier but might just be a fluke or my cycle still settling down since stopping the pill. It's only been 4 months since I stopped it. So just getting on with the next cycle now and trying not to be too disheartened. It will happen when it's meant to happen :) xx

@MissLB how many DPO are you and when should AF arrive? I've done 3 tests today all BFN and prob spent the last 3 hours reading about IB🤣 fingers crossed for both of us!! Xx

@MissLB I did consider that. It was more like pink CM rather than "period" if you not what I mean but I did get some very mild cramping with it too so just presuming it's my AF starting. I did another test and defo BFN. I did have something similar about 4 months ago but it was 2 days before AF rather than 4. I'm pretty sure my AF will go into full period mode in a couple of days. I have been totally exhausted for the last two days but I'm still testing positive for covid despite first catching it two weeks ago now so I'm sure that exhaustion is covid related. This whole not knowing thing is also super exhausting! With all the technology in the world we have why do we still have to wait 2 weeks to know if we're pregnant or not!!!

@MissLB you're totally right- I'm just not feeling positive at all today. Hope I can draw a line under it and move on tomo. My AF has now completely stopped which is odd so don't know what's up with my cycle this month!

@hoola23 I think we just have to stay positive! It's really difficult thkugh isn't it? I'm trying to turn each month into a positive spin like 'oh well at least I don't miss out on [insert event here]' xx

@MissLB me too! Mines arrived around 6 days early this month! Only had a 22 day cycle- that is so short for me. These are the kind of things that make me panic that I'm not going to get pregnant.

@Itsjustme20 my first thought was right unfortunately. AF came with a vengeance this evening. 😢
But I'm going to center parcs next week so at least I'll be able to go on the water slides now xx

Update: had a browny/bloody discharge when I wiped last night (sorry TMI 😂) so assumed AF had arrived a couple
Of days early as I was only 11 DPO and then nothing else today. 24 hours later now! I'm not confident as I've had no other symptoms but I'm quietly hoping this might be implantation spotting? Just ordered some tests off Amazon so hoping full on AF doesn't arrive in the mean time! Xx

@Lauren94laffertyx I'm not the best person to comment as I've never had a BFPbut they all look positive to me!!! Congrats!! Maybe test again in a couple of days to check they get darker! So exciting!!!

Hi I've had sore tingling sensations in my nipples for 2 days now. I got 2 very faint lines and did another test today and still pretty faint? Is this normal or an evap?

The clear blue & first response was last week. And the strip tests where yesterday & today.

@Itsjustme20 glad it's not just me then 🤣 yeah I'm back on tomo- feel awful now I've eaten crap!
