Very nervous about it, but happy too. I actually went to the place(shopping centre) I got the positive with my dd for good luck
My dh thinks I'm mad but hey don't they all

more bleeding over the sunday both red and brown, but have just passed a small bit of clotting.
Think it's probably all over now but have just made docs appointment

had quite bad pain last night. some was a little different to last time as it felt like it was in the top of my leg and made it feel almost numb.

dh thinks I should do the lottery afterall we have to be lucky somewhere.

oh god I can't believe this is happening.

jules sorry to hear you've had more bleeding too it's just crap.
sweetkitty fingers crossed for you too

good morning all

fingers crossed all of you are holding on.

so sorry about coolkat was on that thread before hope she finds her way here.

I took this weekend to rest mourn and hopefully start recovering.DH has been doing everything and providing treats.
I have all weekends busy till Christmas so weekdays are the challenge, go out with dd keep things going, find time for exercise, etc.

TwilightSurfer · 03/12/2007 01:17

Let's keep an eye out for Coolkat. She's over on the Due July 08 thread and just found out she's miscarried.

Wow Justjules nice numbers.

Low mild crampy pains here. Keep feeling like AF is a moment away...then the feeling disapears. To get my mind off AF watch I've been Christmas shopping and shopping and shopping. Date night last night turned into SHOPPING NIGHT. I've got to find a hobby!!! If I don't find a hobby I may have to find a Shopaholics Anynomous.

sweetkitty · 02/12/2007 21:10

jules - most fantastic news and I am so at all the lovely food you are eating especially the B&J, if I fancy anything it's crap either that I am just eating anything to stop my tummy rumbling. I was doing the Tesco order and feeling sick at ordering the food.

ALBS - I think you do rest easy after your milestone dates when you lost your other ones. Once they have gone I'm sure it gets easier. When are you having a scan?

Wasn't even a spot of blood just a thin bit of string like a piece of red thread a cm long (showed it to DP as well) nothing since then and no pain so fingers crossed it was one of those weird things.

alittlebitshy · 02/12/2007 20:59

The dress did work - but most of the time i wore a red pashmina over it which made me feel safe (and warm) lol!
It was a lovely wdding. rather posh venue and my friend looked beautiful!!!

WHEELYbahhumBUG · 02/12/2007 20:48

Did the dress 'work' ALBS ?? Did you have a lovely time ?

splishsplosh · 02/12/2007 20:25

Jules
shows the power of big pants and lots of legs / arms / fingers crossing!
I so hope that things work out for you.
When I had my scan when I had my m/c, the lady scanning me did say you get women bleeding so much they are flooding the table, but things are still OK, so hopefully you're one of those.

Hope you're OK SK. Even before mc, any little thing can be worrying, after mc, it must be 10000x worse.

Tjuice, I went to Sutton High, one of the sister schools of yours.

I wish I had someone cooking me dinner. I've snacked on rubbish all day, plus some half baked b&j (not as good as cookie dough, or the toffee crunch I had the other day). I'm tempted to order pizza, but maybe I'll just rummage through the cupboards for some stodge. My dd puts me to shame, she was asking for rice cakes and blueberries when she came home from her grandma's today.

alittlebitshy · 02/12/2007 20:23

oh yes - ronshar - when's the live testing ??

you ladies who've had bfps recently? are you running to the loo every few mins convinced something's gone wrong??????
I haven't got to my 2 danger points yet (5+2 and 5+5), so next week i'm going to be insane.

the bfps are getting bigger and quicker though. is that a good sign????? (i've never had them so clear, even the one on cd24 was clearer than the last 2 pgs)

littlewifey · 02/12/2007 20:16

Your Dp sounds like a good cook Jules, could do with teaching my Dh a thing or too

Hats off to you TJuice!! That's WAY better than my website!

TJuice · 02/12/2007 15:58

hey jules

he just looked up in his obstetrics texts but couldn't find anything specific.

but this website has a lot of info
www.conceivingconcepts.com/learning/articles/hcg.html

Accordingly, the key to interpreting the true value of HCG measurements is to look at their progression. In general, the HCG level will double every two to three days in early pregnancy. Approximately 85 percent of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours. However, as you get further along in your pregnancy and the HCG levels get higher, the expected doubling time increases.

For HCG levels 6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is >96 hours.

HCG levels peak at about eight to 10 weeks of pregnancy and then decline, remaining at lower levels for the rest of the pregnancy. Here is a sample listing of expected HCG levels based on time after conception:

0-1 week: 0-50 mIU/ml

1-2 weeks: 40-300 mIU/ml

3-4 weeks: 500-6,000 mIU/ml

1-2 months: 5,000-200,000 mIU/ml

2-3 months: 10,000-100,000 mIU/ml

2nd trimester: 3,000-50,000 mIU/ml

3rd trimester: 1,000-50,000 mIU/ml

Non-pregnant females:

kate2179 · 02/12/2007 15:51

Thinking of you jules, sending so much love and big hugs. Noone should have to go through this. Fingers crossed for positive hcg result.
Re levels and what's normal, when I had my mmc I found an australian website which was really helpful - www.birth.com.au/class.asp?class=6620&page=8 Good luck, am wearing my biggest pants in the hope that they send out positive vibes!

popsy76 · 02/12/2007 15:43

Oh Jules life is so unfair isn't it?

If I could wave a magic wand and make it all better I would - just to save one of us from this hellish existence!

I am already crazy lady Jules so you are being magnificent!

Hi sweetkitty got me thinking about decs now - must go up to of and drag the box of glitter down...

sweetkitty · 02/12/2007 15:39

jules - so sorry this is happening to you keeping everything crossed for you x

I had a tony 1cm bit of red blood yesterday morning nothing since and had really bad pains this morning but they seemed to be high up so I hope they were just trapped wind or something, it's going to be another long 4 weeks. Slept for 13 hours last night was asleep by 9pm, still feel hungover constantly and cannot face food.

But put the Christmas decs up though

hello to everyone else hope Sunday is being good to you, need to check on screaming DD2 so better be off x
