Girl bean is fine thanks ronshar - was very excited this morning cos I poked my tummy and she poked me back!
Am not buying a dress til after the baby is born, seems much more sensible as there is no WAY I am shopping for it now - look like a heifer in everything. Was walking round shops yesterday torturing self by looking at clothes that I once would have been able to wear...so many pretty things for xmas but the hips and belly just ain't up for it.

That sounds like a good idea Ellie. Is the wedding still in June? Dont forget to have your wedding dress take into account your huge breast feeding boobs. If you are feeding. If not then you can have an even better dress!

popsy - wedding plans are coming on apace thanks - it's not going to be a big do at all, and I am nicely chilled out. Baby is coming to church, but my friend says she'll babysit for the reception for me! At my house! Which is nice of her considering she is not invited. But is just family and very close friends and she is a work colleauge so doesn't count as either. However, she is a trained nanny so will know just what to do so I am rather chuffed.

Is there another doc at your practice? can you switch practices? just seems ridiculous that you have to pay just because he is a twat . . .

The GP should have given you a password with which you can chose the quickest hospital/Doctor. It has nothing to do with your Gp. If he has no knowledge/ability to deal with 'womens problems' then quite frankley he shoild not take on female patients. tosser

Kasha What a horrendous experience, no wonder you're upset. Mc is upsetting enough as it is and when the medical profession don't take you seriously then it makes it even worse. As far as private gynaes are concerned, if you've got a private hospital near you then I believe you can self-refer. I looked into it when I considered having the chemical mc pill as it wasn't available on the NHS where I live. However, the initial consultation alone was going to be £125 and having heard ITLS's horror stories about chemical mc I decided not to go ahead. You do get taken seriously and are made to feel valued when you go private, but it shouldn't have to be like that.
Georgiegirl Did you do trampoline competitions? I competed for 15 years (including at uni) so perhaps we competed against one another at some point! Although I no longer compete, I still coach and I do have a bounce occasionally. Bit depressing though when I think about the moves I used to be able to do!
