Entering the TWW with BBT charts #2

Hey Ladies,

I am 34, TTC #1, I suffer from PCOS. I had MMC in Jan 2020 around 8/9 weeks. We weren't really seriously trying after that. Didn't had a clue about BBT or OPKs, I only got a hang of it this year. We then decided to actively TTC since the beginning of this year and to our surprise got pregnant straight way which ended in a chemical at 5 weeks unfortunately...💔

We contacted fertility clinic to run all sorts of investigations.. DH was particularly stressed out with work during this time. I was prescribed to take metformin, myo inositol and baby aspirin which helped greatly and made cycles quite regular 28-30 days..Although my BMI was always normal metformin helped reduce another 5 kgs and I fell pregnant quite soon in April which also ended in a chemical at 4 weeks 💔. In the meantime DH's SA results came back which weren't good so my PCOS combined with bad quality of his SA could be the reason for our losses...

We were advised to repeat SA in Aug, if they come back bad then we would be deciding to pursue IVF, don't really want to go this route but it maybe our only hope

So yea that's my story ...suffered 3 losses 😭 all quite early on ...Hope we all don't have to wait too long for our rainbow baby..🌈

@SlothMamaToBe sorry AF arrived. It must make ttc so much harder when your a midwife? No signs of her yet. Having some cramps but have had those since Monday. I have no idea what's going on!

I'm 28 and have been trying to conceive since December. Had a miscarriage in February at 7 weeks and my cycles have been completely messed up ever since 😖 been with fiancé 10 years and we're so ready to start our family.

I managed to speak with the doctor today with regards to my periods since my miscarriage and she has now referred me for a scan which is something. If that's all fine I'll push for blood tests.

It sounds like you’ve had a tough last year or so. Sorry to hear you are thinking about stopping ttc too. I’m thinking at a push 2 years ttc as that’s still considered normal length of time isn’t it?
HG is horrible but it’s amazing that despite that women want to go through pregnancy again - we are tough cookies!

Thanks everyone 💜. @Unicornish we both have one child each from previous relationships- we are very blessed to have them but we so desperately want one of our own. DP is the love of my life and I’m heartbroken it’s not happening for us 😢 (sorry that may be overly sentimental but AF has just turned up 😔) .

I'm 36, have been trying for DC2 for a year now. I had a MMC at 10 weeks last autumn. After trying for a while with no luck, I bought OvuSense and realised I wasn't ovulating regularly. I take myo-inositol now and seem to be ovulating every cycle now thank goodness.

I had the faintest of chemical pregnancies last cycle but af arrived only a day late.

Dd is 5 now and the age gap at this point would be at least 6 years. I have very difficult pregnancies with hyperemesis gravidarum. I think DH and I are moving towards thinking about an end point for ttc. We've kicked the end of the year around but I'm definitely not ready to make the decision yet.

Would love to hear your stories too, and any lurkers who want to join in!

How disappointing @LemonDrizzle44. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you but I know how crushing a bfn can be.

@LemonDrizzle44 sorry to hear about ur BFN. If the temps r still up and there's no sign of AF you may still be in with a chance. Hope this is the case for you 🤞

Hey Ladies, so I finally ovulated on cd 22...looks like my body attempted on cd 15 but failed. Now the dreaded TWW, will put the thermometer aside for the next few days and come back to it 12 dpo and take it easy... last month I went bonkers over every little drop

My test was bfn today ,just want AF to start so I can book my hsg.
Had a heart to heart with DP last night , first time ever we said about ‘when do we decide to stop trying’ 😢

15dpo today and my temps are still up around 36.70. With AF due tomorrow I'm usually heading towards the 36.50's or 36.40's. Going to test today with a FRER rather than IC but dreading a bfn again!

Thanks @LemonDrizzle44 ❤️ my fiancé keeps telling me that it'll be our turn soon but it's so disheartening each month when AF shows up and we're the only ones of all our siblings and friends to not have children, it's so hard xx

@SlothMamaToBe so disappointing. Felt more positive this month too. I'm adding in zinc and inositol to regulate my cycles next month. After that I have nothing else to add.

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter sorry to hear this. I think a friend is about to announce her pregnancy. It makes this whole process soo much harder. Our time will come 🤞🏻

Will be very hard if your sis tells you she is pregnant…I know it sounds trite but do be kind to yourself though and allow yourself to feel what you need to feel.

Just had red blood when I went to the loo so I'm defo out. Apart from drinking unicorn pee 🦄 I've tried everything this cycle too 😩 I'm also almost positive that my twin is pregnant with her 2nd and I just know she's going to tell me soon and I'm not sure I can face it

☹️☹️ sorry to hear that both - doesn’t sound great for any of us then @LemonDrizzle44 and @acupofteamakeseverythingbetter - so rubbish!! I’m really at a loss as to what else to do to get that BFP 😔.

@SlothMamaToBe very slight drop this morning from 36.71 to 36.68. Tested BFN. Have a feeling temps will continue to drop now and AF will make an appearance Saturday

@SlothMamaToBe my temp has gone down even further too so going by lasts month temp drop and AF turning up the following day I think that will be the case again 😣

It’s good you are having investigations @LemonDrizzle44 . Weird ultrasound clear but bloods might be pcos though - hopefully gynae can explain things more.
Did you test today?
My temp gone down a bit more again today so I’ve not bothered and had a bit of light brown/pink spotting so I feel she’ll be here tomorrow 😕.

@SlothMamaToBe its soo tempting to test! If temp is still up tomorrow I may try an IC again.

Had my GP appointment this morning. Bloods indicated PCOS, but ultrasound clear. So not sure what going on. I do have a haemorrhagic cyst on my right ovary but this should reabsorb itself. Being referred to gynaecology for further investigation.

I’m fighting the temptation to test again but it’s difficult. After seeing blood stained cm this morning I don’t think there’s much chance for me.
