Entering the TWW with BBT charts #2

@SlothMamaToBe @MrsTwentyNine tested and got a BFN. My temp dropped yesterday lower than what it's been. But picked up this morning. AF due Monday, so will wait it out now and see.

This month has probably been my "best" chart so far in terms of temp consistency. Trying not to get ahead of myself with this morning's rise because I had a rise at about the same point last cycle and it just plummeted back to the cover line the day AF was due!

@Hopefulhedgehog no I haven’t bothered…if I hadn’t had spotting then I prob would have but there doesn’t seem to be much point.
You’re in tww aren’t you? Are you busy symptom spotting?

I’m a day late here , had the usual spotting but doesn’t seem to be starting properly. My boobs are still hurting so I think my progesterone hasn’t dipped enough maybe. Just want it over and done with 😕.

Thank you @Hopefulhedgehog yes different times in the morning but all exactly as I wake up as I keep it under my pillow and I’ve not been sleeping well lately. Jump coincided with positive OPK so I thought that was good. I just wasn’t sure what to look for, so basically high temps are good at this stage, dropping are AF imminent? I’m actually spotting for tonight (11dpo) so I’m sure I’m out. When I fell pregnant before I didn’t spot until after AF due and I’ve always been a spotter so that’s what alerted me. So fed up of thinking about it. The only way to not is just to give up I think 😭

Hi @Flossy1982 it looks like you are taking your temperatures at different times? Best results are if you take at the same time every day. Nice clear jump after ovulation though! My temps normally start dropping about 3 days before AF if she is on her way.

Started my own post but just saw this one, new to temping - for all those experienced ones, what do you think and what should I be looking for?

@WantStickyBean I feel fine. I did a lateral flow test just in case but was negative. I've never had a temp that high! I feel hot today 🤷🏻‍♀️Will see what happens tomorrow.

@LemonDrizzle44 that's a crazy high temperature. Do you think you're coming down with something? I'd not trust it until I've seen what happens over the next couple of days - but then I'm wary of getting too optimistic after having "triphasic" charts that then plummeted back to the cover line on the day AF was due.

If it does turn out to be triphasic @LemonDrizzle44 that's a really good indication of pregnancy!! 🤞🏻

@BritInNZ how frustrating that you've been missing your ovulation. A 10 day luteal phase is borderline for being short. Perhaps looks at vitamin b6 and high dose vitamin c to help lengthen your LP.

I don't know what my temp was doing this morning! 🤷🏻‍♀️

2dpo for me today. Think I ovulated CD11. DTD on CD 8, 10 and 12. Think they last one was probably too late. This is cycle 9 for us so really hoping it’s a lucky one as it already feels like a long time we’ve been TTC. Long wait ahead now!

Hi @BritInNZ I bet that frustrating if you have been DTD too early and wasting it! I think your luteal phase is considered short if it’s less than 10 days so looks like you are ok but may be worth looking at some supplements to lengthen it?

This was my second month tracking BBT and I've found I actually ovulate on day 18, so 4 days later than I thought! I looked back at Flo and there's only been a couple of occasions where we've completely missed CD18 so that's positive. However, day 18 is quite late - my cycle is usually 28/29 days. Would that be having an impact on not being able to get pregnant?

@LemonDrizzle44 I use wondfos from Amazon and they're good, I saw the shadow of my BFP on that before I did on a FRER. I know it's so long! Hopefully it won't come to that for you.

@Thisriveriswild that's sounding very positive. Fingers crossed for you.
I'm only using Amazon cheapies at the mo as don't have any FRERs.
Don't know what I'm going to do if I have to wait 40 weeks!
