6dpo here, temps are still up. I've been having crazy vivid dreams the last 2 nights, I think that's just part of the LP though, too early to be anything exciting

@thedaydreambelievers no offence but surprised you didn't have polycystic ovaries! I'm mean it's great that you don't, but it would have been the obvious explanation for your long cycles. Did the nurse who scanned you give any explanation? When is your appointment with the consultant?

Hi ladies! Sorry for the huge absence. I have had a lot going on these past few weeks: my grandad came to stay for a week (which was like looking after a toddler), then my sis in law moved in (escaping her abusive bf), she brought with her her pregnant dog who has since had 7 puppies (see pics 🥰), and my stepmother died of Covid. It has been difficult to grieve with a full house and I im exhausted!

How are you all? Have we had any good news?

I'm 3DPO on my 1st Clomid cycle. It has so far gone to plan 😇 during my scan af CD14 I had 3 x dominant follicles, which was more than they were happy with. They recommended I don't try this cycle due to the risk of multiples, but I didn't fancy dropping out of my 1st Clomid cycle when the risks are still pretty low. So we continued to try and got pretty good coverage 😅 I hope its successful... but I hope its not triplets!

@TheDaydreamBelievers good luck with your appointment this week. Have they said what is involved at the appointment?
Haha I'm starting to worry my consultant was blind 😂 I'm in need of losing about 10kgs!!

@TheDaydreamBelievers of course I don't mind 😊 It was private unfortunately. I didn't go down the NHS route (except when I had my initial blood tests and scan) as my work has really good private cover. I hope they do give you clomid though 🤞

Just got back from my gynae appointment, she's prescribed me Provera to bring on a bleed and they are booking me in for blood tests and an internal scan again after the bleed.... got another appointment in 3 weeks for follow up and results but she said 'basically we'll probably just need to give you clomid..'
Only positive to come out of the session was that she told me I was tall and slim (the latter definitely not being true!!) good old autumn weather and hiding underneath jumpers!

Not alot going on here really, 3dpo today trying to forget about testing until me period is atleast a few days late... I really don't want to know about any more chemicals that might happen.

@TheDaydreamBelievers fingers crossed ovulation holds off until after OH SA

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow we are still going to try as there’s no gynaecological reason why I can’t get pregnant other than I have low AMH. I only do OPKs as my cycles are not regular and want to make sure we are BDing before a positive OPK. Temping is “normal” for me now as I get up at 6am for work every morning and take my levothyroxine before I get out of bed.

@MissC07 if your boobs are that sore have you tried doing a test just in case? Maybe if AF doesn't show in the next day or two it might be worth just checking. You never know!

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow I'm not sure if I've ovulated or not, I gave up tracking anything about a month ago 😔 I'm hoping the gynae at least gives me something to bring on AF as it's nearly been 5 months now...

@Kay00 I'm so sorry about your stepmum, take some time and look after yourself .

@MissC07 it would be sods law for AF to show on Tuesday! Do you think you have ovulated or not this cycle?

@Moocher90 are you going to keep trying as well as planning IVF or relax a bit with the opks/temping?

I'm CD21 today. No idea if/when I ovulated as I didn't track. Usually ovulate around CD15, but had lots of symptoms around CD11 (cervix high soft wet open, lots ewcm, high sex drive etc). But then I had some random ewcm CD16, but my cervix was very firm and closed and no other signs.
Could be anywhere from 5 to 10 dpo but will wait and see what happens I guess.

@Kay00 sorry to hear your step mum has passed leaving behind her two young children :( very sad x

I’m CD4 today and my last two cycles I have ovulated between 11-12 but currently still bleeding but only lightly now.

Got my NHS gynaecology app on 21st October and will see what happens but still planking on going to Prague for a cycle of IVF

@Kay00 so sorry to hear about your stepmum. Good luck with your scan tomorrow! I'm often feeling the same as you, me and OH only got together 5 years ago and I often think how different my life would've been if I had children earlier. But like you say, it is what it is!

I've got my gynae appt on Tues, although my boobs are absolutely killing me the last few days. Even the shower hurts them (tmi!) So I'm placing bets on the fact AF will probably turn up on Tues on CD148..... although that's probably wishful thinking 🤣

@Kay00 I'm so sorry about your stepmum. So sad about her young children as well, they are so young to lose both parents.

You are still at a good age so don't worry about it too much. Good luck with your scan tomorrow

I've got a scan tomorrow and then might know when they intend if egg collecting.

I'm going to have to tell my boss as well, something I haven't done yet. Just because my appointments are becoming very last minute now and not during my lunch break

@Kay00 so sorry about your step mum, such a young age for her children to have lost both of thier parents...I can't even imagine. Fingers crossed for your first round of Clomid and for the foof scan.

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, had a positive OPK friday evening and ovulation pains yesterday morning, if I did ovulate yesterday then we managed to DTD on O day, -1 and -2 so pretty good coverage. Ovulation was a a few days earlier this cycle I've started taking boots own version of pregnacare as there is non of the shelfs and it was the only thing my doctor would recommend for my thyroid as it has iodine in it, I was worried they would mess up my cycles like alot of ladies say but it looks like I'll be having one of those perfect 28 cycles 😅

My OH and I also waited until we were in a big enough house, both had stable proper grown up jobs etc etc. Which is why we are trying when I'm 36 and he's nearly 40. I often think i should have tried when I was in my 20s but we were just not ready. It is what it is!

Hi ladies xx thank you for all your kind messages. My stepmother hung in there for a few more days and passed away yesterday. Her two surviving children (aged 19 and 22) now have no parents, it's so sad! 😪

I have done my best to DTD this month, as I am determined not to waste my first Clomid cycle. I'm CD14, lots of EWCM and possible ovulation pains. Temps are still low so I'm hoping I ovulate in next couple of days 🤞🤞🤞 I have my up the floof scan tomorrow at 3pm 😁 I really hope my body is popping out a decent egg 🤞🤞🤞
