@thislittlebird I had one cycle beginning of March and the second end of May so two months of no ivf drugs pretty much.

@Motherofkittens28 how long ago did you finish the ivf drugs? The norethisterone had presumably stopped already? I’m very worried about my body not going back to normal after ivf if I’m honest, it scares me.

@MIW01 @thislittlebird I swear the ivf stopped everything for me and it was the norethisterone that reset my system so to speak, although I thought it had totally broken me at the time. I never believed all those stories of getting a bfp once you stop trying, it used to make me so upset when people said it, it's madness that it seems to have happened to me. I'll feel better once I go to the clinic tomorrow and get the bloods done.

I’m 21 months ttc, 2 years trying in October which will be the same month we’re starting ICSI. Never had a bfp.

@MIW01 I’ve wondered that. Maybe ivf or fertility drugs can like....shake or wake the body up a bit? You hear of people conceiving naturally after some treatment a fair bit.

Fabulous new @Motherofkittens28 - so happy for you! Maybe IVF kick started something? You do hear of these wonderful miracle stories of people getting pregnant naturally jist before or after IVF after so mich heartache - wonderful! Keeping everything crossed 🤞

Just done another test and that is also positive. The clinic says I can come in for a beta hcg test tomorrow and then they can monitor as they would for an ivf pregnancy, so bloods every other day for first two weeks and a weekly scan from 6 weeks. I seriously cannot believe it after all this time and two horrendously bad ivf rounds. If this sticks I am TTC #1 two years, two failed IVF now 4 weeks today

Was ttc for 20 months, started ivf in May'21 and now 10 weeks 4 days pregnant. First ever bfp!

@Annny27 lol at ending surgery! Hope you get your endo surgery soon, I'm forever grateful for mine and 100% think it helped me get the bfp!

Thank you @Annny27, @polejunkie. I've emailed my new clinic to ask their advice. They do operate 7 days a week but not sure that follows for email responses and their phone isn't in operation at the weekend.

@polejunkie at the moment I'm thinking that the test could be faulty and I shouldn't get too excited. I'm also looking up where I could pay for private high tests to double check and wondering if I should use my stack of progesterone support just in case.

So I tested this morning as I'm supposed to have my second covid jab today and I have a faint line! First anything like a line I've ever seen and I'm not sure I want to believe it but I'm cancelling my vaccine!

@crazycatlady1981 yeah, I think it's for the best. I was ok with the idea and then I completely lost it last night. I need one focus at the moment, and not a whole bunch of stressful distractions. I feel like a weight has lifted today, I don't have to worry about how he's going to get the right day off and if he'll be able to stay with me in case I get OHSS etc, that's before I even get to worrying about house and move stuff.

I'm definitely pleased with the doctor so far. Hopefully the ivf will go well under him, but it's nice to know we have his number if I do have any issues.

Another country sounds like a huge amount of work and not something to be dealing with before that transfer. I'm not someone who likes change and moves, a move 5 minutes away is very stressful to me, another country might break me lol.

@Motherofkittens28 keeping everything crossed for you! Maybe test if af doesn’t show tomorrow? It’s good to still have those feelings of hope each month and not stupid at all! I felt completely rubbish after the ivf failed and lost all hope that it would ever happen, but I’ve started to feel back to normal now and excited about trying again!!

@thislittlebird that sounds like a good plan to put his job move on hold whilst the ivf is going on.
Your doctor sounds amazing too! It’s about time you had some decent service!!
We’re still waiting to hear about DHs job offer which would mean us having to up sticks and move to another county, but I’ve said it can’t happen until we’ve been through the frozen transfer as we’d lose our round.
