Hi there,

Ok I'm ready to try for number 2 and feeling a bit nervous and in need of company ! anyone out there in the same boat, how about the mutual support group starts here.

my son is nearly 21 months. i conceived really easily last time but had 2 consecutive m/c before he came along so spent about a year and a half pregnant ! i'm scared 2nd time round won't be so easy and m/cs might come back but also sooooo excited. also i'm 36 and keep feeling really old and like i have to get it sorted soon ............

aaah, little one is dancing round the sofa to annie on the telly, need to go and join him. would really like to hear from anyone in the same boat,

can't bore my childless friends with all the boring details constantly,

cheers

C

oh boo! How rubbish
I hope it turns into a BFP next time you test bambam

You have a lovely day to look forward to though, hopefuly your mind will be too preoccupied with that to notice the time passing. And that TEW stays away from you too, of course.

bambam30 · 21/12/2007 10:52

well i have done a test and it bfn so now iam totally confused and i am not gonna do any more tests until next week! [if of course by then stupid af has'nt put in appearance]

twinklingfairy · 20/12/2007 23:47

Well that makes me unique as I am actually delighted that I got some spotting this morning so could be starting cycle 2 since Ds arrived. Thermometer in hand here we go!
Brother and SIl told me I'm going to be an Auntie in July, I'm delighted and not jealous, well more delighted than jealous, just a shame we've moved so much further away now
Good luck with the sexy underwear flowerfairy.
LO seems a bit better today and is keeping stuff down now but not his usual self

twinklingfairy · 20/12/2007 18:18

TEW arrived this morning, horrible old witch!!
But I was totally expecting her and am now looking forward to getting wellied on Christmas day!!
My brother is coming up at new year with his new grilfriend so I am looking forward to being able to relax for that visit too. Would have been nie to tell everyone that I was gonna have no2 but probably best that I don't. I know, you are meant to not tell anyone before 12 weeks but there is simply no way I could have contained myself!

I hope she stays away for you though bambam.
I am watching this space.

flowerfairy · 20/12/2007 14:34

Can i join too. ttc child 2. have just had a negative as thought was(lots of symptoms, and now af arrived). Sister just announced her pg of no2. Feeling a bit despondent as feel lots of things not going in my favour-my age,dh occasional sex drive problem, am really trying not to get my self all obsessed by dates, nor stressed. So leave it in the lap of the gods & just hope the sexy underwear will tempt dh, enough.

bambam30 · 20/12/2007 10:44

morning all [sends a big cheery wave to everyone] yorky glad you in your house and hope your lo feels better soon dancerandprancer good luck with testing if you do and twinklingfairy hope everything is still going your way!also good wishes to all those i have'nt mentioned well af due today i think i have'nt done a retest i will wait til tomorrow if no af keep your fingers crossed ladies

twinklingfairy · 19/12/2007 21:07

It depends on the tests that you have. I have loads of ebay cheapies, so I would not even think twice about testing. But if you are 10bob a pop I can understand lucicles point of view.

If you have guests coming at the weekend, is that a Saturday arrival or a Friday night?
Actually, sorry that makes no real odds.
What I am thinking is, leave it until Friday morn. A couple more days will make the HCG stronger so it might not be a wasted test and/or AFF will (typically) arrive.

Says me I was sooo sure I was not going to test until Saturday and I caved this morning

Very exciting though, AF is late!! I so love it when she is late!! Fingers crossed

Yorky · 19/12/2007 20:10

Here I am in new house, been here 2 days now and already found the out of hours doctor - DS wasn't even keeping water down. Seems happier in himself this evening. Still no AF and any dodgy tummy feelings I assume are more to do with DS's bug than PG.
Not feeling very patient but hoping to unpack Christmas cards soon so I can send them before Easter!
Have a lovely wedding Bambam.
I know I'd test again and I totally agree with you about not testing with an audience! Good luck Dancerandprancer

halogen · 19/12/2007 19:58

Wait! You'll only be pissed off at wasting a test if it's negative again.

Here we are on cycle 7, post-ovulation, although not expecting any major news. Daughter vomiting tonight so will probably get it myself tomorrow and have a lovely few days. Good luck to all.

colabottle · 19/12/2007 19:41

hi. id test again.i got 4 bfn before a bfp with dd. fingers crossed for you. i wouldnt want to test with a house full of people.

dancerandprancer · 19/12/2007 18:52

Evening all. Need some advice.

AF was due (i think on Sunday) so I tested but BFN. No sign of AF yet and not sure if I should re test again. DH wants to leave it until the weekend but we will have a house full of guests so not keen on doing it with an audience )so to speak) What should I do, test or wait a bit longer??

bambam30 · 19/12/2007 18:19

no it just a quiet thing !!!! just us and our two closest friends and their kids -my dp family all live in italy and mine all up in the orknies we have told our parents but then we just gonna tell everyone else after that by the way we got wed!! it just saves hassle of who to invite and who not iynwim

twinklingfairy · 19/12/2007 17:55

I guess it is just down to knicker watching, I truly don't want to look now, for fear that TEW will have turned up

But also still holding a little hope in reserve, it ain't over til its over!!

Only 5 days until you get married!!!!
Is it a big white wedding or a quiet thing?

bambam30 · 19/12/2007 17:21

DebitheScot · 19/12/2007 12:11

I just looked to see if there's a due Sept 08 antenatal thread but there isn't yet. Wonder if it'll be one of us that starts one!?

I'm bored at work today. Last day of term and classes are just watching dvds so I'm wasting time on here...

colabottle · 19/12/2007 09:17

hi, i just wondered ifi can join you. im new to this site. we are going to try fo numbe 2 dd is 8 months. im a bit nervous about it. had lap 3 weeks ago for c scar adhesions so bit worried.

babblington · 18/12/2007 21:51

Can I join too even if going for No. 3?? I've DD1(3.6) and dd2 (1.6) and hoping to concieve around February/March, but also slightly dreading it as life has just got manageable again, so goodness know why we're going for another one!

kiwibella · 18/12/2007 21:38

hello... I have stumbled on this thread and am also planning to start ttc for another baby. However, this will be number three for us as dd is 11 and dd2 is ten months - she was worth the wait. I'm hoping that it won't take so long this time .

loopybear · 18/12/2007 21:14

I told myself I'd wait a week before doing a test if I didn't get my period. After 4 months of being bang on time we start TTC and cycle goes haywire again!!! I couldn't resist got BFN didn't feel PG but no signs of PMT either!!!
