@ttcissoboring
This we thread is a life line to me hope you get some comfort out of joining us 💚

kiwi17 · 25/08/2021 21:55

@SLCxxx definitely and lots of snorkelling in the sea! And I definitely will 😂 DH got his sperm analysis appointment through and the earliest they had was October.. why does everything take so long?!

SLCxxx · 25/08/2021 21:32

@Babyghirl you will, I have a good feeling about the progesterone, think it will be exactly what your baby has needed.. now just a waiting game in the great sperm race!

@kiwi17 ah Malta! How lovely, I hope you’ve enjoyed sun soaked cocktails by the pool 🥰 if your prolactin results come back high again and they say it’s stress.. you tell them it’s absolutely not as your all relaxed so they should pull their fingers out and figure out what’s going on 💪🏻

kiwi17 · 25/08/2021 21:16

@Babyghirl it's honestly been exactly what we needed after the mc and failed ttc this year! I think I ovulated the day we arrived so that was a bit frantic but after that have just had the nicest time 😁 also, if I go for my prolactin test next week and they say my levels are still too high due to stress I literally don't know what I'll do 😂😂😂

Babyghirl · 25/08/2021 21:12

@slcxxx
Omg 14 weeks I hope I will be lucky to get there one day can't wait to hear team blue or pink 💚
@kiwi17
You kept that quite 😂😂😂😂😂😂 not that I'm jealous or anything lol 💚

kiwi17 · 25/08/2021 20:36

Aw @SLCxxx such good news! I'm good thanks, just chilling in the tww- 6dpo today so not much to report but been in Malta for a week (home tomorrow) and finally feel relaxed again for the first time in months so maybe that'll help!

SLCxxx · 25/08/2021 20:32

Hi @Babyghirl I’m doing well thanks, 14week now! Have gender scan booked in 17 days (not that I’m counting, lol), really I just want to see the baby again for reassurance, I’ve stopped peeing on sticks now but still feel like it’s all going to go wrong.. guess that won’t ever go away and is something all of us will have to deal with when it’s our time.

How are you?? I see the witch is on her way out, good riddance. September seems to be a lucky month for you.. use the Ferti-lily.. I swear that’s what gave me my BFP. I’m always reading this chat, like to see what’s happening with everyone, I even tell my husband the news, lol. We are eagerly awaiting news from @PeanuttyButter, really really hope those lines are darker for you 💕

@Annny27 I know you don’t think it’s implantation.. but my fingers and toes are crossed that it is 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@kiwi17 hope everything’s good with you 💜

Babyghirl · 25/08/2021 17:14

@Annny27
Remember every pregnancy is different and if it is just means it could be an extra sticky bean fingers crossed for you and hoping it is 🤞🙏🍀💚

Annny27 · 25/08/2021 17:01

@babyghirl another September conception would be amazing especially as you have the aspirin and progesterone to take from next bfp ♥️♥️♥️

I am having some spotting but I think I am like atleast 8 days away from my period so that's really early for me :( I dont think its implantation either as neither of my pregnancies I had bleeding, so its start of af slowly

@apwilso I have been taking asprin since ovulation this month. 150g (self prescribed based on a midwife's advice at epu). I think the consensus from this group was taking it in the evenings is best.

EmiGoiko · 23/08/2021 19:08

I know! I've had quite bad cramps today and my husband actually said to me "I don't get why you are so worried". 🤦‍♀️

PeanuttyButter · 23/08/2021 18:59

Good luck @apwilso and enjoy!

@Equimum I know it's hard. Think due date is a date that will always be difficult even if you were to get pregnant before then.
I think people don't realise that even once it's over it's not really over as you still grieve for the time you're missing out on. I know how far along I should be by now.

@Emigoiko my DH seems optimistic too and to a certain extent it's a good thing but at the same time I think, "How can you be?" And I feel like screaming.

apwilso · 23/08/2021 18:30

@EmiGoiko thank you!

Seen some chat about aspirin around ovulation. Has anyone ever tried it?

EmiGoiko · 23/08/2021 14:03

Fingers crossed for you @apwilso

EmiGoiko · 23/08/2021 14:02

@Equimum definitely not selfish. It takes time to grieve for these losses and it is possible to be grateful for what you have and feel the pain at the same time, I think they are separate things. Being grateful doesn't take the pain away does it. It's OK to feel sad as long as it takes.

My DH says the same to me btw and always remains always optimistic and tells me to be the same (and I just don't feel optimistic) - I think they just find it easier to disassociate given it's not their body. My due date for my first MC is also approaching and it is depressing, I feel your pain. Hugs.

apwilso · 23/08/2021 12:35

Well after having a 41 day cycle last month where I genuinely thought I was pregnant and getting indent lines on FRER I'm on ovulation week!

Boyfriend works away Monday to Friday but this week and next he's staying at home and travelling so I won't miss my fertile window! Hope it works out for me 😁

H0peing · 23/08/2021 11:56

@Equimum No, you're not being selfish! Not everyone understands how difficult it can be when you were pregnant but then lose it. You have hopes for the future as you look ahead to the due date and it's a bereavement, which can have long-term effects and you shouldn't feel bad about that. I have good days and bad days. I really hope that you begin a successful pregnancy very soon. Xx

Equimum · 23/08/2021 09:22

Fingers crossed for everyone waiting.

I'm sorry that AF looked to be arriving Babyghirl.

I'd never heard of rainbow baby day. Hopefully we'll all be celebrating that in the future.

AF arrived here yesterday - 33 days after I starting bleeding with the last miscarriage. I suppose I should be relieved that it's not kept me waiting for ages, but all I can think is about how everyone told me when I had the first miscarriage, that's I'd be pregnant again by the due date. The due date was
Mid September and that's now definitely not going to be the case. My DH is obsessed by getting the puppy in the two weeks, and doesn't seem to think about anything else, and keeps telling Em I just need to focus on what we have. He'll, even a psychologist friend told me that feeling grateful for what I have would make it all feel better. Am I a complete selfish cow? I am grateful for what I have, but it doesn't my take away the pain.
