🦕 Catching up - ttc after miscarriage part 7 🦕

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread!
I had a miscarriage almost 6 weeks ago, it was my first baby. I haven't had a period yet and I'm kinda losing my mind! I tried opks so I'm hoping to get a period this weekend coming, but we (hub and I) also had a go once over my fertile day. I'm feeling a bit pregnant but also not, hpts are negative and boobs are fine (thought I saw a faint line but I'm not going to obsess).

Is anybody still waiting to find out and how long did it take for periods to come back? My sister just gave birth to her 3rd (little girl) and my best friend is expecting so things are a little tense for me right now!

So i told you all about ttc but did you mean pregnancy wise??

@H0peing I'm currently 4+6 I feel like time is standing still to be honest. Back at work today so hoping that gives me some distraction. Going to book in for a scan at about 7.5 weeks if I make it that far. Can't deal with going earlier and then there being questions about if it's too soon to see a heartbeat etc. This is worse than the tww. Where are you date wise

At our first scan we were also 6 or 7 days behind. Then it caught up slowly and by 12w scan it was bang on from lmp. So try not to worry 💗

@H0peing really hard to say as we tried sooo much stuff!
But i would say what probably helped was higher folic acid, higher vit D, omega, zinc and selenium supp, and lots of iron. Basically i stopped the seven seas conception tablets and went on individual supplements on high doses... lots of pills to take though!
Also had small polyps in my uterus removed the month before we conceived.
And hubby was on a supplement too.
Oh and instead of doing smep we had breaks between dtd during fertile window.
And we stopped using the preseed lube.

@ELM7 so pleased to hear that you saw your little one and heard a heartbeat! Also really glad to hear that your mum is recovering💖 I know lots of people who have measured smaller than expected and those babies arrived completely healthy so please try not to worry and to enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can. Xx

@PeanuttyButter when are you planning to have your first scan? I think I'll try to get my first one at around 6.5 weeks because I think that's around the time you can usually see the heartbeat etc. Will see how it goes. Trying to stay as positive and hopeful as possible, which seems to be easier said than done after past experience, but today is a new day. Much love. Xx

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm a lot newer to this thread than you. Would you mind sharing anything that you think could be helpful following the birth of your DD?

I always find it helpful to try something new, especially if it's worked for other people! Xx

Payed for it today but was worth it, I have just said can't stop life while ttc or we would stop living altogether and better to be merry than miserable, as my doc said get my oh to take me out get me drunk and bring me home and do all the work 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 drink to its pink that's the words he used lol 💚

@Babyghirl 31. But I've recently had day 3 and 21 bloods which were normal apart from prolactin so got the repeat test for that on Thursday, also had an internal exam and an ultrasound and everything came back normal. Dh has sperm analysis in Oct but apart from that not sure what else they'll do for us. Gp already said we're not ever going to get ivf on the nhs as we already have a child so it's just a case of getting on with or getting over it sadly :( it just seems so unfair like what are we doing wrong?! Going to have a month of ttc next month as hoping to go away next may/June so maybe the break will do us good.

@kiwi17 sorry AF arrived! But you're so right - it's crazy! Even in the days I didn't want to be pregnant and took a test in panic - AF always arrived on the very same day ;)

Sorry the bitch got you I have done that a few time took a test and then she rocks up, hang in there it will happen I'm sure of it what age r you if u don't mind me asking just so you can get referred for tests 💚💚

Well I'm out - af arrived a day early. I swear there is nothing better to get af started than taking a pregnancy test - it's like it triggers it or something. So fed up :( coming up to a year that we have been ttc #2 now and unsuccessful obviously apart from the mc cycle. Can't really understand how it's ever going to work if it didn't work the month I was spending all my fertile week days sat on a beach in the sun literally as relaxed as I will ever be. 👎😭

I am back on conception 😐
Officially told DH i want another baby sooner rather than later...
DD is 4.5 months now...
had my first period 31/07
I am breastfeeding so opks are all over the place... basically always on high never on peak though.
Now on CD 31 😑

So yeah kinda back at it... when we have time!
