@ELM7 I'm sorry AF arrived :-(

@MeganChar1 I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

@Annny27 I'm not sure they really show up on a photo. They're probably in my head!!

Hi I’m 6dpo, I’m new to tracking and had some pink spotting yesterday along with mild cramping, bloating and urinating frequently. Following my mmc in Jan I’m having some tests for hormonal problems due to my thyroid disease (under control now) but tests have also shown borderline low progesterone and high prolactin so these are getting re-tested next cycle (providing I’m not pg), I know these problems can impact luteal phase. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I’m really trying not to get hopes up

Annny27 · 03/07/2021 10:00

What dpo are you and do you have a pic? @treesall

@elm7 sorry AF arrived :( xxx

@kiwi17 I know it's awful in real life when someone announces their pregnancy. All this with Stacey Solomon too, I'm thrilled for her but we would have been due at about the same time and I had a feeling she was pregnant before she announced as I felt like she did at that time! Also a colleague told me her friend was expecting and that upset me too.

As for pre AF spotting.. I've been spotting soft about 5 days myself which I've never had before. AF is here now as of this morning. Awful cramps but least she's here and I can move on.
Not as upset as I thought I would be, suppose that's a positive sign.

treesall · 03/07/2021 09:58

I am baffled as I have a real squinter this morning. I had to test as I stop my medication if I don't have a positive test on this day of the cycle but I was 100% convinced I was out this month. It's such a faint line, it's barely even a line. This is how my first chemical happened so even if this is a positive I suspect it isn't a real one. Argh!!

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 09:42

@ELM7
Awww sorry the bitch came planty of chocolate and a wee wine tonight, hate cramps there awful 💚

ELM7 · 03/07/2021 08:36

@kiwi17 sorry the spotting has started TTc after a MC is cruel like we haven’t been through enough.

So 3 days late but AF made her presence known at 5am this morning and she is going to be an absolute bitch this month. Cramps are awful feel like crap and ready to just go back to bed with a hot water bottle and feel sorry for myself.

Hope you all have good weekends. x

Babyghirl · 03/07/2021 06:31

@kiwi17
Awwww so sorry it has started again gs really was hoping it was ur month get on the phone to the doc cause it really sounds like ur progesterone is low with the few days of spotting 💚
@HOpeing
I hope I get the results soon will have an app through soon for an internal ultrasound to, yea the Chinese herbs r dear aren't they, yea can take 3 months for something to help egg and sperm I was taking conceive plus tablets and said on pack to take 90 days before ttc 💚

H0peing · 02/07/2021 23:22

@Babyghirl thanks yes, I heard that too so I started taking folate a few months ago. I heard that it can take 90 days for the supplements you take to impact sperm and eggs. I'm honestly not sure how true that is though.

@kiwi17 so sorry to hear about what you're going through right now! I also had several days of spotting since having a miscarriage, which I'd never had before. I really hope that your GP can help. From other people's stories on forums it seems common after miscarrying but there are lots of people who go on to have beautiful rainbow babies afterwards. I know two of them personally. Yes, it's great to be able to be completely honest about how your feeling and let it all out with no judgement! Xx

@treesall I hope things improve for you soon! I had to let the lady who is providing my Chinese herbs know today that July is probably the last month that we can afford to buy the herbs! Really hoping that we all get our good news soon!

@Miscarriage39 Thanks! I hope so! Xx

kiwi17 · 02/07/2021 22:27

Thanks ladies. I just can't stop crying everytime I think about it and it's just bringing back all my feelings about the mc. I just don't understand how it is so easy for some people and so hard for all of us it's not fair. @Treesall I'm sorry you're in the same position it's just the worst feeling 😢 I'm just glad I have this little community because I know you all understand how I'm feeling ♥️

Miscarriage39 · 02/07/2021 22:20

Oh kiwi17, what a s^*t day! I am sorry everything has happened today. Don’t feel bad about how you feel. I think you’d need to stone-cold emotionally not to feel a whole host of negativity emotions. Sending big hugs.

*babyghirl’ hopefully if they have spotted a clotting disorder it’s something that can be easily managed. I know it’s not something anyone wants, but getting answers as to why you’ve struggled so much on this journey could be the breakthrough you need.

Sorry your tests are negative treesall.

Welcome H0peing. Your Chinese medicine sounds really interesting. 🤞 it’s what you need.

@kiwi17

Well today has been gutting - right on cue my 6 day pre af spotting (which is apparently now my norm post mc) started so all my hopes about potentially being pg are screwed. I'm so fed up of spotting for 6 days then af for 5 days every month it's just not fair. I'm going to call gp on Monday. Oh and to top it off the friend who got pregnant first month of trying dtd once and who started ttc when we did and made comments about being on mat leave gave birth today so that's great - she managed to have a baby in the 9 months I've failed, had a mc and failed 4 more months of ttc. I'm so fed up and miserable and just feel like she's won and I've lost and that's ridiculous because it's not a competition but it feels like it sometimes. Sorry for ranting ladies just feeling rubbish today 😭
It's absolutely shit. It really is Thanks
treesall · 02/07/2021 21:38

I'm sorry you aren't feeling positive @kiwi17.

I am in the same boat today. I have done about a million tests today (I know, I know, I think I've gone totally insane) and they are all of course negative, so I'm out for this month. Totally gutted, though not surprised. Since starting recurrent miscarriage treatment the pressure to conceive feels very very high, mainly because of the cost and panic about the drugs I'm taking. Urgh!!!

@HOpeing
I changed my folic acid to folate I was following a fertility specialist on fb hydie and she said not everybody digests folic acid well folate is folic acid but pour folic acid I have also been giving vitamin d as mine was low 💚

H0peing · 01/07/2021 22:34

Thanks for the warm welcome!Smile I was offered lots of tests through the NHS but they all came back fine apart from a small uterine fibroid, which they said shouldn't affect my fertility. I also have an appointment due with a gynaecologist in August but I dont want to wait until then. I decided to try acupuncture but the Acupuncturist told me that I don't need acupuncture, I need Chinese herbs because I suffer from what Chinese Medicine calls 'damp (excess water in the uterus) and that I am cold imside and she needs to warm up my body to help my fertility. I tried some warming herbs earlier this month and by using my BBT I could see that they did seem to be warming me up! . She said that I am now much better but I need to continue taking them whilst TTC in my next cycle so it's a bit scary because I don't know anyone else who's used Chinese Medicine whilst / before TTC but I think it's worth a try for one cycle of trying. I can't really afford to do more than one cycle of herbs though so I'll probably have to try something else if they don't work this time. I also take prenatal supplements and Omega oils about an hour before your herbs.

Hope you don't mind me joining. I am just about to start ttc baby number 2 again after 3 miscarriages. I'm on my period at the moment. Hoping that we can all be successful soon! I would love to hear any tips about anything that's helping you or has helped friends whilst ttc, if you don't mind, but no problem if not. X

Fizzl · 01/07/2021 21:39

@Babyghirl no I'm still pregnant. She's got until Monday so the clock is ticking for her to vacate on her own!

Mine is a little different as I was diagnosed many years ago as what I've got is hereditary and passed down from my dad. So I already knew about it but the consultant did run bloods again when we lost our first pregnancy which reconfirmed the diagnosis and I only had those taken once. But again that might have been because I already have a diagnosis so not new if that makes sense. I know there is another clotting disorder though where they need to repeat them so many weeks apart (can't remember what it's called! But think it's known as sticky blood syndrome or something like that)

Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 20:18

@fizzl
Thank you well has r Virtual niece or nephew arrived yet 💚 did u get the bloods taken then more am I right in thinking you need two positive results to be diagnosed with a blood clotting problem 💚

Fizzl · 01/07/2021 20:09

@Babyghirl @Annny27 is right I do inject blood thinners daily as well as taking aspirin. I didn't in my first pregnancy and I guess we will never know for definite if that's the reason we lost that one. If you do have to inject it's fine, I used to hate needles but I'm completely desensitised to it now I think and just do it without really thinking about it.

Hopefully you get some answers soon and like others have said, if it is a clotting disorder it's easily treated once you know what you're dealing with

lovelylittlesunflower · 01/07/2021 20:03
@lovelylittlesunflower opks are ovulation predictor kits 😊 the little strips you wee on to see if you are about to ovulate or not. You can get the digital ones too.

I know right @Annny27? Very odd. Will just have to wait and see my own fault for trying to poas without wasting a pg test 😂 when's your blood test?
Babyghirl · 01/07/2021 19:10
