@PeanuttyButter my AF has just ended too so let's hope for the best for our next cycle! Xx

H0peing · 06/07/2021 22:22

Can anyone else share How long it's taken to get their progesterone test result? Xx

H0peing · 06/07/2021 22:21

@Annny27 Did they say when you'll get your results?

H0peing · 06/07/2021 22:19

@Annny27 Thanks! I called my GP today but the Receptionist said that I had to call back tomorrow morning to try to arrange a telephone consultation with a GP. Really hoping that I can have a progesterone test soon. X

@lovelylittlesunflower

Yes antibiotics can treat it! My whole situation was going on for 3 months.

I had bleeding for about 2 months after ERPC and excessive discharge and an odour too. Penicillin should clear it up.

I saw an independent consultant privately after which was worth every penny. Would really recommend it

lovelylittlesunflower · 06/07/2021 20:16

@Conundrum12345

This was my exact situation.there was retained tissue left in me after 2 rounds of medical management and an erpc. I ended up having to do another round of medical management and a hysterscopy, I also have ecoli in my uterus too.

Get yourself scanned asap

Oh gosh, I'm so worried 😟 I hope you are ok, can antibiotics treat it? Did you have no pain, no blood, normal discharge etc?

Hi all, can I join this thread too? Congrats to all who have had their BFP following MC ♥️ and sending lots of love and positivity to this TTC after their losses.

I had a my first MC with my first pregnancy a couple weeks ago and pg test has now gone negative and spotting has stopped. So I think I'm ready to ttc again.

Bit worried as my periods are very irregular ranging from 41 days to 90+ days, and some months I'm not even ovulating! So TTC has been a little tricky to say the least! Apparently it's not pcos as although I have a lot of cyst,my hormones and thyroid is fine too so god knows what's up with my body!

Love hearing the support and positivity in the group and would love to be a part of it.

KJW00 · 06/07/2021 18:47

Hi Smile is it ok for me to join this thread?

Firstly sorry we are all here it's SHIT. Secondly congrats to all those who have got their BFP and had healthy pregnancies since Daffodil

Bit of a background story - First pregnancy beginning of the year turned out to be ectopic. Had surgery and lost my right Fallopian tube.

Back to TTC in May. Got my BFP to my surprise. Ended at 6 weeks Sad Bleeding has stopped and test is now a BFN.

So the wait for my period and TTC again is back to square 1. What a rollercoaster this journey is Envy

Hey everyone, hope
You are all ok. I'm so fed up, my pregnancy tests are still positive albeit getting fainter. I'm 4 weeks since my 3 month miscarriage. I've no pain, no fever, no bleeding....but I'm so worried there's something left with my test being positive. Is it normal for it to take so long. I just wanna be ovulating and moving on from this instead of this worry.

Hello everyone, I'm still trying to get a prescription for progesterone. Please can I ask if you take progesterone, I was wondering what dosage of progesterone your doctors recommended? Thanks!

PeanuttyButter · 06/07/2021 10:48

Good morning all, well AF has disappeared but tbh there wasn't much of it to begin with. I had such awful cramping the week leading up to it and the night before it started I was expecting the worse. I've had the lightest period over 2 days, I'd say medium light flow then day 3 was just slight tinged fluid. Back on it now then!! I have no idea when I'm going to ovulate as I don't know how long my new cycle will be now

apwilso · 06/07/2021 06:58

@Babyghirl that's what I'm thinking! Could be earlier now. Would work out better because my boyfriend works away during the week as well!

@H0peing I used clear blue for a bit but yeah they are expensive!

Annny27 · 05/07/2021 23:02

@h0peing yep it's just a blood test that the GP can do! I said we had been having fertility issues and needed to arrange a progesterone check (also known as day 21 blood test) , and yep as @babyghirl says it needs to be around 7dpo

My last one was on 9dpo because 7dpo was a saturday so they told me to have it on the Monday at 9dpo

@Babyghirl thanks! Xx

Babyghirl · 05/07/2021 21:35

@HOpeing
It's just a blood test 💚

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:34

@Miscarriage39 definitely seems like a good sign to me too!Smilexx

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:32

@cupcakesandglitter I keep hearing lots of good stories about progesterone! Xx

Babyghirl · 05/07/2021 21:32

@HOpeing your doc can run this test they say day 21 of your cycle but it has to be 7dpo day 21 only goes for people that ovulate on cd14, so if you ovulate on Cd10 you would get the test on cd17 💚

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:27

@treesall thanks for all of the info! It's so expensive! Yes, it's surprising what you would take for a baby. I think I would take anything too! Just wish it didn't all cost so much! It all seems to be working for you though!SmileX

H0peing · 05/07/2021 21:26

@Annny27 thank you so much for starting this thread! I am finding it extremely helpful on this journey! This is probably a silly question but how did they test your progesterone and was it through the NHS or private? I really want mine tested so I'm planning to find out about more progesterone this week.

ELM7 · 05/07/2021 20:58
