Wrote a really long reply before but my browser crashed and I lost it.
Having a bad few days recently but was cheered up by a great weekend. Unfortunately that's now ended as DH cousin has announced their pregnancy tonight and they would be due about 2 weeks after I would have been. I feel like my world has crumbled again. I know people will get pregnant and I am happy for them at heart but also hurting so so badly. It's crushing me

Babyghirl · 11/07/2021 19:19

@nuggetlover27
Great to hear @fizzl had her wee baby girl to was on the other day updating us, sorry bot your mental health thou but hope it's eases for you soon xx

Nuggetlover27 · 11/07/2021 15:22

Thanks for thinking of me @Babyghirl
I'm doing okay. I've always suffered with my mental health and seems to be a lot more since getting pregnant so have avoided MN as everything I seem to read sets off my anxiety, I've been thinking of you girls though and sending lots of baby dust your way. I know you'll get your BFPs soon 🥰

In currently 26+3 and baby boy 💙 seems to be growing well. Other than my mental health my pregnancy has been a pretty good one with only a small amount of sickness and other symptoms.

Hope all the 🦕s are doing well

Babyghirl · 11/07/2021 10:46

PeanuttyButter · 11/07/2021 10:32

Congratulations @Miscarriage39 fingers crossed for you all remains well.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through @Naomi2b89 you're in the right place for support everyone is lovely here.

@Babyghirl haha on the horse riding...someone's a lucky to be able to use the horse analogy hehe
I'm currently CD9 says ovulation in 6 days but tbh I have no idea when it's going to happen now but we have started to DTD eod and plan on doing that until about cd18 so fingers crossed we are lucky this time.

H0peing · 10/07/2021 23:51

@Naomi2b89 I have a small uterine fibroid. I had one when I was pregnant with my DS but it disappeared / shrank during the pregnancy. I've heard of lots of people having successful pregnancies with fibroids. Folic acid, vit D and having a healthy BMI is recommended whilst TTC so they could help. Wishing you success when you do choose to try again Xx

H0peing · 10/07/2021 23:36

@Miscarriage39 sending lots of positive thoughts your way and hoping that you can find some enjoyable ways to fill the next 3 weeks! It would be great if you could find ways to treat yourself because you deserve it! It could be worth calling to beg your local EPU for extra scans from 6 weeks onwards. I managed to get one extra scan with my first and only child when I called and begged them for one before I'd had any miscarriages. I guess it may partly depend on who answers the phone and how busy they are at the time. Xx

apwilso · 10/07/2021 21:35

Congrats @Miscarriage39 ❤️❤️

Babyghirl · 10/07/2021 21:08

@slcxxx
Omg big congratulations great to hear x
@Naomi2b89
You norm get it tested on day 21 of your cycle if you ovulate on dy 14 really has to be 7 dpo just ask ur doc for the bloods, so sorry the bleeding has got worse for you, when I had my cp I pass a like a clear clot and you can c like vains running through it and my blood eased of after that look after yourself and relax as much as u can 💚

Naomi2b89 · 10/07/2021 20:30

Thanks all. I've spent the evening having cuddles and playing games with my 2 children which has helped. Just went to loo and I'm bleeding quite heavy, hopefully it calms down soon and passed one clot like a size of a 50p and then some really small dark ones (sorry for tmi)... hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and the cramps would of calmed down, had to dose myself up on painkillers..
Its such a stressful time, we had a discussion tonight and now I'm not sure I'm prepared to try August, I'm tempted to try and lose some weight first, take folic acid and vit d everyday... and go from there, wondering if I'm low on the progesterone..do you know how I can get this checked? Not sure my gp will actually help given ive had one mc last year at 5/6 weeks (which is on my records as I had to go to EPU) but considering I was only 4 weeks this time they don't need to know and won't class it as a mc so they might just say that I can just try again. I also had been suffering with lower cramps/ painful when having sex back last year had a scan done back in jan this year and they found one small fibroid on my womb, the dr said it was tiny it was hard to say if it was affect pregnancy and now I'm not sure if it is the cause.... hard work being a woman! Xx

kiwi17 · 10/07/2021 19:44

Hahaha @Babyghirl you're not wrong! Not sure when I'll ovulate this month though it's all a big fun guessing game without the opks 😂 @SLCxxx great news! 🤞 for you it all keeps going smoothly. @Miscarriage39 that's so frustrating for you and literally makes no sense because if there is an issue this is the moment you need to know about it!? I really hope and trust that it's not going to be a big problem and when you find out in 3 weeks it doesn't matter for you 🤞

Miscarriage39 · 10/07/2021 18:22

I am so sorry your care has been so abysmal lovelylittlesunflower. Hopefully now they know what is going on you will soon feel fully recovered and be in a much better place.

So please your scan went well SLCxxx.

I doubt it H0peing. I’ve only had one miscarriage, and when I spoke to the GP receptionist yesterday, she said it would still be fine to wait three weeks to discuss my blood results. So all-in-all, I don’t think I’ll be able to get any extra checks unfortunately.

Welcome Naomi2b89, although sorry you find yourself here.

H0peing · 10/07/2021 17:09

@SLCxxx Glad your uss went well!Smile Maybe putting some extra garlic in your food might help your cold to go away sooner. I find that helps me, although I know that not everyone wants to eat as much garlic as me lol. Xx

H0peing · 10/07/2021 17:05

@Naomi2b89 Welcome! Sorry for your losses. It can be very tricky not to test early. I have tried having none in the house but you can often get same day delivery on Amazon so it definitely takes willpower not to, which I don't have much of because I always want to know. I'm planning to have a day 21 test this month to try to find out of part of my problem is low progesterone (3 early losses at 8 weeks and under). If I do need to take progesterone then from what I understand I will have to test early for a BFP so that I can take progesterone early in my next pregnancy. I hope that August is the month for your Rainbow baby. Xx

H0peing · 10/07/2021 16:55

@Miscarriage39 Do you know if you can have some early scans on the NHS? One of my friends had several early scans on the NHS due to recurrent miscarriage and also because she was 40. She only paid for one extra 3D scan near the end and had a beautiful baby girl a few months ago. Xx

H0peing · 10/07/2021 16:45

@lovelylittlesunflower It's terrible that they discharged you before you were ready! Glad that the Sister yesterday has been a lot more helpful. It seems like you will get the help you need from now on. Xx

H0peing · 10/07/2021 16:41

@Annny27 I now have the letter to take with me for my day 21 blood test but I have to call them on Monday to book the appointment and not sure how busy they'll be yet. Really hoping that I can get an appointment this month! X

SLCxxx · 10/07/2021 16:39
