@kiwi17
Hoping I get it sorted today myself pain sitting is in my butt cheeks gs x

kiwi17 · 04/09/2021 09:38

@ELM7 I'm so sorry this is happening to you again :( it's just so unfair. I hope like others have said that you get some answers this time. Hugs!

@Babyghirl that sounds so painful 😖😖 hope you get it sorted straight away.

@H0peing hopefully you're right and it's just a side effect of the medication rather than anything more sinister 🤞

Babyghirl · 04/09/2021 09:25

@HOpeing
Got to bring the bitch to the vet think she pregnant then drop her home and head to A&E hoping the can sort it today even sitting is uncomfortable today, hoping that's the bleeding gone for you and you have no more 💚

H0peing · 04/09/2021 09:15

@Babyghirl A midwife told me to insert it through the back passage as she said that when you insert it vaginally it can sometimes irritate the uterus and causw bleeding that way but bleeding is a side effect of my medication so I could bleed with everything being ok. Just glad it was only spotting. Your cyst looks extremely uncomfortable! Definitely hope you can get that sorted ASAP xxxx

Babyghirl · 04/09/2021 08:47

@HOpeing
I have heard of people like cutting them self's while inserting it if that makes sense but think when u bleed u had not inserted one praying this is a sticky one hoping and just baby getting comfy in there 🤞🙏🍀💚
This is what I have gs and it's like a golf ball today gs

@Babyghirl one of the uncommon side effects of taking progesterone is bleeding and a common side effect for the low dose aspirin is bleeding so unfortunately it seems that I'm highly likely to get bleeding due to taking both but I'm obviously just really glad that it stopped quickly and hope everything is OK. It seems like a good idea to get a gyno doc to sort that out. I hope they can sort it out soon! Xx

H0peing · 04/09/2021 08:19

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm not sure if my progesterone was low or not before as it wasn't measured apart from at day 21, which was 38 in my last pregnancy so they seemed ok about that but that was before they realised it was a multiple pregnancy, maybe it needed to be higher for twins or my natural levels were fluctuating as it looked that way when I did BBT. I think they are assuming that I need extra progesterone so they've told me to take it just after ovulation this time around instead of at bfp (taking it from bfp didn't work last time for me). I took a pessary as soon as I saw blood, which was a few hours earlier than I'd normally take it, but I think it may have helped as the small amount of spotting stopped almost straight away. They measured my progesterone levels as well as my hcg only because I asked them to. They said that they should be really high due to my very high dose prescription and they were at 121! They were really happy that my hcg had done from 103 to 385 as they had more than doubled. I'm really hoping that the earlier progesterone and the doubled dose of daily aspirin (150mg) is helping this time around and making the difference that my body needs! How was your successful pregnancy after miscarriage? It would be encouraging to hear how it went for you...to hear a success story! Xx

Babyghirl · 04/09/2021 08:15

@HOpeing
I have heard of people using them and it causing a bit of spotting after they have been inserted hopefully that's what's happening, I have a cyst tmi right on my left flap down near the vaginal entrance omg I'm sore today it's cause by my tear duck that produces my cm being blocked so might end up in A&E today as my gyno said nxt time it swells to go down there and they will have to get a gyno doc down to sort it out gs xx

H0peing · 04/09/2021 08:08

@Babyghirl yes love, I am on 400mg progesterone pessaries twice per day! X

SunnySideUp2020 · 04/09/2021 07:07

@ELM7
I am so sorry for your loss. What is happening yet again is heartbreaking. All this is very unfair and I hope you will be able to have an answer after the testing.💔
Sending lots of strength.

@H0peing
A little bit of spotting can happen. It is obviously hard to know what it means... did you have low progesterone before?
The bloods look good no?

Babyghirl · 03/09/2021 23:50

@HOpeing
Your taking progesterone to aren't you or have I got it wrong 😂🙈😂🙈😂🙈 x

H0peing · 03/09/2021 23:23

So my hcg levels went up from 103 at 5.30pm on Tuesday to 385 at 10am today. I was panicking all day, relieved when I found out and they offered me an early scan next Thursday at 12pm. Then, just after speaking to the EPU at their closing time, I had some blood when I wiped after using the toilet. A small amount, mixture of red and brown, the next time I went it was brown and it seems to have stopped when I just checked for a 3rd time. I called my GP straight away but nothing they can do. He said that the earliest they'd expect to see something would be at next Thursday's scan, although they can't date this pregnancy anyway because my last bleed was a miscarriage. He said they could possibly measure hcg levels but it probably won't be clear what's going on until the scan and I read online today that the hcg levels rise a bit slower from around 5 weeks onwards so I'm not sure that would be helpful. TTC and pregnancy after miscarriage just seems awful. It can so easily steal away the ability to fully enjoy pregnancy and to remain hopeful for the future given such bad experiences. I burst into tears when I saw blood today but I'm just trying to remain as positive as I possibly can be. Thankfully it seems to have stopped for now at least. I'm really hoping that it works out for all of us very soon xxxxxxxxxx

H0peing · 03/09/2021 22:52

Hey Ladies

Hi hope you are all ok. Sorry for the late response has been a rough few days

Um so when you think the shit year can’t get any shitter the universe let’s you know it can. Am having another miscarriage so now isolating before going to hospital on Mon for operation.

I should be 9 weeks today but after our scan 10 days ago and seeing our little bean measuring smaller than i thought but with a heartbeat it unfortunately wasn’t meant to be and a week later I started to bleed. Back for a scan today to confirm no heartbeat any more. Have opted for surgery as then they can do genetic testing to see if there is a reason behind the miscarriages and will also be referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic.

So shit shit and more shit. I’m just angry today - it’s not fair and so many waste of space people have babies so easily yet we all deserve our rainbows and it just is so hard for us.

SunnySideUp2020 · 03/09/2021 16:22

Congrats @anoki that s a good line!

Sorry AF arrived :( @Annny27
it is utterly shit. Nothing else to say...
Sending hugs over 🤗🤗

I have my first peak OPK at cd 35 ! 🥳🥳🥳
I am super happy. 👌
We dtd today not knowing it was peak.
And tbh we do it when we can.... hard with the baby and the fact that she doesn't sleep for long without looking for me these days!
But hey we managed today so kinda meant to be!

Not sure we will be able to do it again this week 😅😅

Babyghirl · 03/09/2021 14:33

@PeanuttyButter
I'm on them through the doctors cause mine was s low, but if I'm right you pee out what u don't need anyway I think.

PeanuttyButter · 03/09/2021 13:53

@EmiGoiko so rubbish they won't scan you. I know exactly what you mean about the lack of compassion with the private companies. I refuse to go back to the place I found out for that very reason. I also find then having to go to the epu afterwards another ordeal.

How much vitamin d does everyone take? DH bought me some but I think they are too strong. Midwife recommended the pregnacare vitamins last time but I already have my folic acid etc

EmiGoiko · 03/09/2021 12:22

Thanks, I'm in Hampshire so will look for somewhere and hopefully if I tell them the history they'll be sensitive. 💜

I've carried on taking a few of them since finding out am pregnant. Really deliberated as i know you need to be careful. In the end have carried on with the NAC and alpha lipoic acid (as well as a proper prenatal) as read they could help reduce miscarriage. So hoping that is the right thing to do. 🤞

ElsieG3m · 03/09/2021 11:51

@EmiGoiko thank you! I do most of those but will add in a couple. Whereabouts are you based? If in London, go to the EPU at UCLH. They will see and scan you and won't ask questions. You don't have to go to your local especially if you have symptoms you're concerned about x

Babyghirl · 03/09/2021 11:48

@Emigoiko
That's awful they won't see you, try get another scan place to go to and when phoning to make app tell them about your past experience at the other place they won't all be like this one 💚

EmiGoiko · 03/09/2021 11:29

@ElsieG3m I'm sorry to hear about your previous losses, that's so tough. Good news though about your ovarian reserve.

So I've been taking the following:

  • zita west vitafem preconception vitamin
  • zita west vita boost
  • 1000mg vitamin d 1 spray
  • 400mg ubiquol
  • 200mg alpha lipoic acid
  • 600mg N-acetylcysteine
  • a fish oil dha supplement but can't remember amount
Also weekly acupuncture
