@Emigoiko

@PeanuttyButter
I knw its disheartening well last 3 Septembers I have fell pregnant so let's c if nxt month makes it 4 in a row 😂😂😂😂😂😂

PeanuttyButter · 17/08/2021 14:57

@H0peing Look after yourself. I know what you mean about wanting the early scan for reassurance but then when it doesn't go to plan it almost hurts more if that's even possible.

@kiwi17 Happy riding lol

@Annny27 Sorry you're going through a rough patch, it's so hard isn't it. I'm trying to stay out of the dark place if I can and. Using the same logic you are that nobodys life impacts me and what's meant to be for me will happen when it's time. It's working so far but AF is due at the end of the week so we will see if it lasts.

@EmiGoiko Congratulations, fingers crossed for a sticky bean. What day was/is AF due? X

@babyghirl I know I look at some people and their alcoholic/drug addict lifestyle and they manage to get pregnant and have healthy kids and don't appreciate them.

EmiGoiko · 17/08/2021 07:34

@Annny27 I'm sorry you're feeling down. It is tough when people around you are announcing their news. It is hard not to think about yourself and feel sad for your own situation. I always think it is possible and normal to feel both emotions at the same time. You can be happy for other people and still feel sad for yourself. I think that's very human and you shouldn't feel bad about it. I think we all feel like that.

I also see things in the news and awful people doing awful things and think the same as you. It is unfair.

I hope you can find the oomph and get in the mood to DTD!

@Babyghirl that's such a nice thing to do. Nice to find quality time together amongst all the scheduled horse riding 😆

Babyghirl · 16/08/2021 20:53

@Annny27
Awwww big hug from me it gets to us a lot when things like that happen 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪, a woman in Belfast stabbed her 8 week old an 3 year old bot 3 weeks ago in Belfast 8 week old died 3 year old pulled through poor babies. Go get on that horse and hopefully you can win the national this month 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Really busy weekend glad it's over booked Thursday off me and oh going for a nice lunch and just to spend the day together as we not seen each other only an hour here or there due to work so looking forward to that. 💚
@kiwi17
We got this 🐴🐎🐴🐎 lol

kiwi17 · 16/08/2021 20:24

Pahahaha I'm not disagreeing with that statement @Babyghirl! 🤣 @Annny27 I'm sorry you're having a down day - that news always throws us off track when we're starting to feel a bit more positive doesn't it. And I know what you mean about the news stories it just seems so unfair :(

Annny27 · 16/08/2021 16:40

@emigoika congratulations sweetheart! Take another tomorrow or the next day and will be crossing my fingers that it darkens!

@kiwi17 glad everyone looks well and that theres an egg waiting to be released 😍

@babyghirl sounds like a very tiring weekend!!

@elm7 whens your scan lovely?

It's one of those depressed days for me. Another friend just told me she is expecting her first baby and I just feel left behind girls like life and everyone is moving on apart from me :( I know you will all relate. Sucks sucks sucks....and then on the other end I am ovulating soon so got to wipe the years away and dtd 🙄

I know I also shouldnt think this because someone elses life doesnt impact mine. But there were two children in the news recently killed by their mothers or as a result of their negligence and I am just like WHY do they get to be mums but I am not :( self pity I know but it's just all confusing

Haha! What cd you up to now? I'm only cd13 which is early for me to ovulate I normally tend to be cd17/18 But have started b6 again but a stronger dose hoping it will reduce my prolactin so maybe that's having an effect!

@Kruge21
Sorry you find yourself with us but glad u found us for support, I have had both my jabs the Pfizer from the start as I work for the Trust no difference in my cycle have had 4 miscarriages and 1 cp last miscarriage end of Jan before I got my first jab I was working at the covid wlk in vaccine centre on sat and a lot of pregnant women there getting it there now urging pregnant women to get it as covid in the 3rd trimester can be serious, but go with what you want it's no right or wrong.
@Emigoiko
Congratulations and I hope this is your sticky baby 💚
@slcxxx
How have you been feels like ages from u been on lol
@kiwi17
Still hanging around waiting how r you doing 💚

EmiGoiko · 16/08/2021 09:04

Thanks @kiwi17. Wish I could feel excited but I think I won't until I'm passed at least 6 weeks which is when I've lost the others. And currently not hopeful I'll get there (I know I'm such a downer). With my daughter I had a strong test from the start, but I don't remember when I tested so that's not very helpful! Reassuring to know you had faint tests with your son, so thank you! X

kiwi17 · 16/08/2021 08:58

Congratulations @EmiGoiko! That's exciting - I'm not sure about the cheapies as I've never used them but when I've had my bfps on asda tests I normally test about 13dpo and they weren't super strong lines (one was my mc but I didn't lose it til 10 weeks and the other was my now 3 yr old so hopefully it'll darken up for you!) Fingers crossed for you it sticks 🤞

EmiGoiko · 16/08/2021 08:29

So today I got a faint positive on an Internet cheapie test strip. I'm about 12 dpo. I have been a bit crampy hut otherwise no other signs. It is such a faint line that I'm not feeling very hopeful. My last miscarriage which was very early (5.5 weeks) also only had faint lines so worried it is going to be the same. Awful how all it just robs the joy out of it, we just feel kind of doomy. It just feels like torture to wait and see. Does anyone know if at 12dpo you expect the line to be darker or is it usually to be faint? Do the cheap test strips tend to be lighter anyway?

EmiGoiko · 16/08/2021 08:25

Hi @Kruge21 welcome to the group and so sorry for your loss. It's so awful. I had had two miscarriages this year, one missed and one natural. Talking to this group has really helped.

I have had both jabs, last one end of july. Haven't noticed any impact to my cycle.

EmiGoiko · 16/08/2021 08:20

@kiwi17 exactly, that's totally it! Knowing you are ovulating is great, really is a pretty big plus! So definitely reassuring!

H0peing · 15/08/2021 23:19

@PeanuttyButter It seems to be harder this time compared to the previous 3 miscarriages. I think it's because I saw two on the scan and got so excited about the idea of twins. My grandma has non-identical twins so I knew it was a possibility but to see them both felt so real and it's definitely hit me hard this time. I've cried a lot but I'm just throwing myself into trying again until it works! I now have mixed feelings about early scans as I wouldn't have known there were two without the 5 week scan but I think it's helped me to acknowledge what's happened. It's also a huge challenge to experience the loss of a pregnancy without a scan.

Glad we can all support each-other. X

H0peing · 15/08/2021 22:41

@Kruge21 Welcome! Sorry for your loss. I haven't had the vaccine yet either. I tried to book my vaccine earlier this year. I think it was in April and I was told by both my GP and the vaccine booking line at the time that they wouldn't book me for the vaccine due to safeguarding issues because I was TTC and could be pregnant. The general guidance seems to have changed now but throughout all of my recent scans, DR / gynaecologist appointments etc no-one has recommended that I have it immediately so I am planning to wait until after I have a successful pregnancy in the future. I guess it affects people differently. Some people have had delayed and / or painful periods for the first time after their jab but many others haven't and I know lots of people who have had it and seem to be fine but I don't think it's right for me at the moment. It's everyone's personal choice. X

SLCxxx · 15/08/2021 19:06

@kiwi17 glad everything so far has come back normal, but I bet it is frustrating also

SLCxxx · 15/08/2021 19:05

Welcome to the group @Kruge21, sorry for your loss. Im 36 and had a MC in jan @ 10 weeks, so decided to just have the vaccine. Had my 2nd jab in April and conceived in May so I can’t imagine it impacted my fertility, I didn’t notice a difference in my cycles either. I also had the Pfizer

kiwi17 · 15/08/2021 18:22

@Kruge21 welcome! Sorry for your loss. It's a rubbish situation and you're right it just adds more stress to the whole ttc. I had my jab in may (mc was in march) and my second jab in June and haven't noticed anything different in terms of my cycles, still not had a bfp yet but doubt that is the reason! I know some ladies have reported problems with their cycles after the jabs but I didn't have that issue and I had Pfizer.

Kruge21 · 15/08/2021 17:54

Thank you @PeanuttyButter, it does!
I have to say this community is amazing. The first days after my mc I came here to read other women experiences and it helped a lot. Ttc after a miscarriage is quite daunting as to the usual expectation to get pregnant joins the hope that it will stick this time around. Covid definitely hasn’t made this easier, as if we didn’t have enough to worry about! But it is such a blessing to be able to share our experiences here and hopefully future pregnancies! Flowers

PeanuttyButter · 15/08/2021 16:00

@Kruge21 I had Pfizer. I had my first dose in January and got covid in January too if that helps at all.

Kruge21 · 15/08/2021 14:43

Thank you @PeanuttyButter. I’m sorry it didn’t stick, but definitely a positive sign you managed to conceive. I hope it works out for you the next time. Would you mind sharing if you had Pfizer or AZ?

PeanuttyButter · 15/08/2021 14:33

Welcome @Kruge21 sorry for your loss. You will find we are a nice bunch here, very supportive.
In terms of your covid jab situation I can't comment much on how it would affect your cycle. I had my second jab on 17th March, AF came right on time on 22nd and thats the month I conceived. Albeit it didn't stick but didn't alter any timings fore at all

Kruge21 · 15/08/2021 14:07

Hi all, I am new to this chat. I am also ttc after a miscarriage. I lost my pregnancy a couple of months ago, I was 3 months pregnant, it was awful. I’m 40 so maybe age was a factor, I would never know. Ttc again has helped a lot although not success yet and like many of you here after my mc I am having a lot of cramping (took 6 weeks for AF to arrive again after mc). Now I am getting worried about the Covid situation. I haven’t had my vaccine yet as when I was about to get it fell pregnant so wanted to wait until 2nd trimester, and now I am hesitating wether having it would add more stress to my body and prevent me from getting pregnant. Anyone stressed about all this covid situation or knowing any positive pregnancy stories after the jab? Many thanks in advance
