Hi all,

I was on the April thread but unfortunately I'm back again after another miscarriage. 2nd one in a row, unsure if it's bad luck or if there's something wrong.

I'm waiting on a surgery date but wanted to come back to get to know everyone again before we try for our third time lucky baby.

Xx

@LeeTTCRainbow that's a lovely message. I'm ok thanks, just trying to relax about it all and come to terms with what will be, will be. Not easy, but it's so consuming that I don't like who I've become. I'm trying to enjoy life more and be a good mum to my DD. I'm 6dpo and no symptoms other than cramping. Good luck to you all for this cycle x

LeeTTCRainbow · 05/08/2021 11:51

I'm so sorry to hear you've been in hospital. How awful for you; it must have brought back painful memories. Wishing you a very speedy recovery. I have everything crossed for you and am sending positive thoughts your way. I think I'm going to wait a little while before ttc again, though age wise time isn't on my side (40). The whole thing has shaken me up, and I didn't even undergo a surgical procedure. I thought being pregnant for the first time would be wonderful, I just didn't realise unfortunately how common early miscarriage is. My mum is terminally ill and I so wanted to give her something happy to focus on. It's been a shock to us all. I will try again, but need to get strong physically and emotionally. You're so brave, as are all the ladies out there who keep going. @KJW00
Sending you all baby dust. xxx

LeeTTCRainbow · 03/08/2021 12:48

Hi girls, after the painful cramping, passing the lump of flesh and being sick and bleeding super heavy it got worse again and ended up being admitted to hospital last week and stayed in had a internal scan and examination done.

Which showed I have got a lesion/tear & irritation on my right side of uterus which is likely from the medium sized lump I passed, I have a lot of blood and clots around the area causing irritation and would explain the cramps and heavy bleeding. They can’t say whether was a early early miscarriage that didn’t stick or left over from previous miscarriage and now finally passed which tore away as a clump with this period rather than gradual shredding. back home now but was a rough few days, they also mentioned if had the lump for few months (retained tissue from previous miscarriage) that would of affected our chances of conceiving as been blocking that side so its a positive from it all and hopefully we have a fresh start now 👍 xx

LeeTTCRainbow · 03/08/2021 12:44

@AureliaRose oh lovely im so so sorry, the world can be cruel and i know exactly how you feel my first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage didn't know anything was wrong until she scanned me at the 12 week scan, honestly never felt like pain like it seeing that screen and saying those words, and then the actual miscarriage itself is super painful why they say its like a bad period i don't know why because mine was awful like no period ive had was on my hands and knees through the cramps (mine were contractions) and ended up in hospital and a d&c due to complications, i since have had another miscarriage in march and going through that wasn't easy as you think will work out this time, i know its hard to look ahead so take some time away ttc wait until your ready, your know when you are but its perfectly normal to still have breakdowns even when you are ttc again, i do all the time, if want to talk im here as know going through a loss can feel very lonely and its hard to pick yourself back up, look after yourself, love one hopefuly mum to be to another. xxxxxxxx

ViL89 · 30/07/2021 12:38

Pasha82 · 30/07/2021 12:20

@AureliaRose so sorry to hear that. It must be absolutely awful and such a heartbreak. Look after yourself and try again when you feel ready. Don't put any pressure on yourself. X

AureliaRose · 30/07/2021 11:56

@Pasha82 @ViL89 @LeeTTCRainbow @Skincareaddict Hi ladies, thanks for your good wishes. Unfortunately I am in the middle of a miscarriage, confirmed by the hospital yesterday. I know it was very early days, but my first time being pregnant and I'm feeling a bit traumatised to be honest. The bleeding is so heavy and painful. It's put me off trying again. I know I will eventually, but I can't bear the thought of going through this again. I didn't realise how common it is. My heart goes out to all those women, especially the 10 other ladies that I saw waiting in the EPU yesterday all in the same situation.

LeeTTCRainbow · 28/07/2021 10:06

@Skincareaddict I had my second vaccine back in June that af was ok this one the cramps seem like when I miscarried earlier on super painful and strong whole (tmi) vagina, lower tummy area is so sore and cramping all the way up to my tummy.

LeeTTCRainbow · 28/07/2021 10:05

@ViL89 thanks yes I will, got to get through this awful period honestly it’s so bad I don’t know what’s going on, last few months been uncomfortable but manageable this one can barely focus.

LeeTTCRainbow · 28/07/2021 10:03

@AureliaRose oh no I’m sorry to hear that lovely, let us know how you get on. Hot water bottle helps with the cramps as they can get unbearable but if gets too much go to a&e don’t struggle in silence.

Skincareaddict · 28/07/2021 10:00

@AureliaRose oh no, I am so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you can get in to a hospital soon for scans and fingers crossed it will be OK. Massive hugs to you.

@LeeTTCRainbow Have you had a covid vaccine or anything this cycle that could have impacted things?

Pasha82 · 28/07/2021 09:58

@AureliaRose fingers crossed for you and I'm sorry to hear that. It's emotionally draining. Let us know how you get on. Thinking of you x
