It's kinda hard to explain, but I somehow do feel indifferent despite period showed up last week. I am supposedly on cd12 today.

Anyway, past few days since period was over I felt random nauseous, some weird stomach ache and my boobs felt sore on and off too. It didnt grow in size what I noticed btw. Long short story, I just felt like it. Plus, one of my bestie texted me just before my period came that she dreamt of me being pregnant!

As poas, I tested before period during period and past period and getting numbers of BFN. Was almost giving up since fertile days are coming too. But I read it somewhere that some people only producing positive hpt when they mark 6weeks. If according to my LMP, I would be 6+2 today.

My cheapie that deemed as 10 mIU came at the doorstep earlier, there I ran to the washroom in the speed of light. In disbelief, I saw a very faint line started to appear. And it stayed there til the dye all settled in.

I m a bit shaking rn, what could be the possible outcome of this.. I do pray for the best but I am afraid if is the other way round.

Anyone been in the same boat, mind to share some positivity? Sad

Just another update (coz I know how it feels reading a thread without an ending / definite answersGrin)

My first response finally came and i ran to the bathroom at the speed of light, well just want to confirm the uncertainty. I thought I saw a very faint line but almost cant be seen.

Guess the hormones are just imbalance? And truly hoping it isnt anything sinister underlying the "never progressing faint line" Sad

Thanks everyone for your kind responses.

I need more baby dusts to keep the ttc going. Hopeful for my rainbow to appear soonest. Halo

@Blossomandbee It really was terrible. Wondering why should a pharmacy upt wont pick up the hcg if it is really there. Guess the cheapie was all just showing faint linesConfused And just praying if this hcg is here but really low, it is not signifying anything sinister. Sad Well I hope it will happen someday for me hun. When the time is just right, it will. Thanks for the concern and take care too SmileThanks

Ah I'm sorry that ones negative Sad That's really bad to sell tests that show up false positives, however faint. It gives such false hope.
I hope sooner or later you get the result you want Thanks

beautifulinitstime · 21/06/2021 13:06

I really think this cheapie is a faulty batch SadSadSad Tested on local pharmacy cassette upt, nothing showed up. Just a white double line. My LH is not showing positive too. I feel quite dumbfounded right now. ConfusedConfusedConfused This will be my first to encounter such a bad batch of cheapie. Angry

@Blossomandbee indeed what i was thinking too. Gonna try with pharmacy brand this evening. Coz the progression will be at least prominent in between days I guess. If this is really a faulty batch of cheapie, it really does mess with my sane life I swear. GrinGrin Thanks hun xx gotta update how its going later.

OP posts:
Blossomandbee · 21/06/2021 09:20

I would say the most recent line is a bit clearer, but I would perhaps expect it to be a little darker over those 4 days. Hcg is supposed to double every couple of days and personally my lines progressed very dramatically, although everyone is different.
I really think you need to try a different brand. If that's a dodgy batch of tests it could be causing you all this uncertainty for nothing.
Hope you're ok!

beautifulinitstime · 21/06/2021 02:24

Doing some picture tracking, the order is from bottom to top.

Do you guys honestly think this is even called a progression as of today, 21st June? Confused

Just an update, I walked in to a private clinic earlier. After explaining my situation, the doc did an ultrasound to check on the possibilities. There was a tiny black dot in the uterus area, anyway the doc didnt want to say it as a possible sac because it could be anything.

My doc outruled ectopic because no mass seen in the us, and i didnt have any terrible pain during and post period.

If accd to my LMP, I would be 6+4 today. And the tiny black dot is questionable. Unless I ovulated twice, a week later than my confirmed ovulation on 17th May, so roughly will be 4+6 today? Confused

I still got faint line on cheapie as today. My doc asked to come back in a week if I wanna do so and didnt bother to do blood test. She just advised to focus on my fertile days that she suspected my LH is messing with the pregnancy testGrin

I am not too hopeful atm, since I m up to my fertile days anyway. But will still track the progress in few days til the faint line on my pt is finally out of my sight.Grin

Being in a limbo of uncertainty is always the worst.

@NoseringGirl I know hun Sad waiting in limbo always is the worst. Hopeful that my first response will be here tomorrow. And thanks a lot! Thanks

@Roopers Indeed it varies. My first pregnancy(which ended as mmc) I found it out as early as 11 dpo. Not so sure what's happening now. Fingers crossed too, hopeful for a good one altho I might just clutching at the straws. Sad

OP posts:
NoseringGirl · 20/06/2021 08:26

I do see faint lines on those tests but those cheapies can be misleading. I'd definitely try a more reliable test. Good luck, I know that feeling of wanting it so much and testing loads! Hope you get a blazing positive soon!

Roopers · 20/06/2021 08:16

@beautifulinitstime it's been different timelines for all 3 of my pregnancies. This one has stuck (now18weeks) and I found out at 3 weeks with a dye stealer but I'd ovulated early as the mc the month before set my cycles a bit weird.

When I had my Mmc about 6 months before that I found out about 5 weeks. It's different for everyone. My good friend had very irregular cycles and didn't find out until 9 weeks as she just had no idea she needed to test.
Fingers crossed for you - hope it all works out ok.

beautifulinitstime · 19/06/2021 14:45

@mamamalt im honestly wondering the same concern too. My first response is taking so long to arrive. Gotta see how the cheapie turns out tomorrow morning, and I hv local pharmacy preg tests too. Will only dip it when the cheapie looks promising. Thanks for the thoughts hun. Really appreciate it Thanks This is rather confusing. Confused

OP posts:
beautifulinitstime · 19/06/2021 14:43

@Blossomandbee waiting for my frer to be here. And having two brands that I bought from local pharmacy. Gotta dip that in if the faint line on cheapie is showing prominent progress. Will keep the thread updated. Thanks for the thoughts hun Thanks

OP posts:
beautifulinitstime · 19/06/2021 14:41

@feb2022 I plan to do so, but only if I get a solid line in a day or two. Pretty worried if this is just another batch of bad strips? Sad will keep the thread updated anyway. Thanks hun. Thanks

OP posts:
mamamalt · 19/06/2021 14:27

I really think you need to use a different brand of test... these come I batches and sometimes a whole batch will show up strange lines. Its so hard but like others have said clearly the lines should be more obvious but a good way to check would be different tests. Like a digital as there is no mistaking that.

Blossomandbee · 19/06/2021 12:12

Have you got any more of the pink ovulation tests? I would expect the lines on that to be getting stronger from CD12 onwards and if so then that rules out pregnancy.
I can see some sort of extremely faint lines on your tests but not when I zoom in. I wouldn't say they are positives, I think you need to see what a better brand says. Or ask your GP for a blood test.

feb2022 · 19/06/2021 12:04

@beautifulinitstime I mean you must have some HCG in your system for it to be showing up? I'd definitely ring your GP and try and get a blood test done to check your HCG levels
My friend didn't get a positive until she was about 12 weeks

beautifulinitstime · 19/06/2021 11:57

@BiggerBetterHealthier I thought they were too. But the strip this evening is showing another faint line while its goin across. Blush

Just an update. I did another evening test. It's quite confusing but gonna wait a day or two to see how it goes. Hmm
