On another note though, the person who said giving birth is the most womanly experience along side breast feeding, does this make women who can’t have kids or can’t breast feed not women? I don’t get this logic 🤔

@Emmaldo14 so what you’re saying is that a primary school child has such a busy schedule that they need to save time doing joined up handwriting? Who are these kids taking notes for?! 😂
No, I most certainly did not, I didn’t even have a pretty burgundy folder, I took my certificates, stuffed them in a drawer and literally never saw them again. For all I know they could have come back to me at least 100 times in the form of recycled paper by this point 😂

Oh my god @Peachycream and @glasspaw I read the thread. I'm so angry now too! It's a ridiculous argument too.... I feel like a lot of people care more about protecting their own identity than supporting others. 🙄

You didn't deserve those responses either glasspaw. Surely it can't be long before we have a crew and we can start a pregnancy thread? We just need a new mascot 🧙‍♀️

@HRP1990 not temping at the moment, I’m going to give it a go next month. Have a feeling it’s not going to happen this month, to be honest I’m not even sure I’ll ovulate this month at this rate. Going to trying temping so I can have a better understanding next month. Will dtd tonight and tomorrow though just in case, OH is thrilled at the thought of 2 more nights 🙃
@Peachycream so apparently it’s because it’s the fastest way to note take, as your pen doesn’t leave the page 🤷‍♀️ I’m not sure how much time that saves an 8 year old 😂
In secondary We used to roll our skirts up so far they looked like belts😩. You mean you didn’t keep all your GCSE certificates safe in that burgundy record of achievement book they told us all we would need at every job interview 😂😂

Had to stop reading in the end, I totally agree with what you said. Stuff like this annoys me, I don’t understand why people have to comment on shit that literally has no impact on their lives at all.

People need to realise that the sooner everyone is just nice to each other and learn to co-exist, whether they are male, female, trans, non-binary or whatever else, the sooner the world will be a better place for everyone. You can’t say “I want more rights!” But drag down someone else’s in the process. People don’t go and get the medical help they need because of the wording used and some probably lose their lives over it. Which is heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how it must feel to live in a world where the gender normative language doesn’t fit your perception of yourself.

Our care and language should be person cantered. Not gender cantered.

I think I’m done now.

Hey everyone, I’m a little late to the party but wondered if it would be ok for me to please join?
I’m 36 and ttc my first baby. Been trying 6 months and just had 2 chemical pregnancies. Currently in the midst of my 6th cycle but it all went a little crazy and didn’t ovulate until day 25 (I think)!
Anyway all my friends either got pregnant immediately or have never ttc, and my husband has limited listening skills when I try to discuss the more intricate details of my cycle haha, so would be great to have some people to chat to! Smile

Good point about the pencils though!
I’m trying to think of other pointless school stuff.
Oh! My secondary school were shit hot on your uniform, if your top button wasn’t done up or your tie wasn’t tied with the right amount of stripes you’d be in shit. It was so important that teachers would literally stop an entire lesson to make sure uniform was correct, or send you outside of the class to miss the lesson until they felt it was right.
Our uniform was more important than our education 😂

I’m glad it’s not just me that had to write joined up, I now write in all capitals and not joined up because fuck the establishment! 😂

@KayL1988 @HRP1990 cheese can’t by my fairies thing, I eat loads of it. It must be something else……I just wish I knew what it was! 😣

I’ve gotten lost in my replies again now, I don’t know what’s happened to my brain over the last few weeks but it’s just stopped working. I think my brain fairies are now OAPs!!

Also popping in to say hi! 👋 Not much to report here - no symptoms yet really, so it still doesn’t seem real. Had good line progression in my tests though. I’ve done one every day as I’m a POAS addict!

@Peachycream YES the handwriting thing 🤣 I remember being one of the last to graduate to a fountain pen, yet I stopped writing joined up the moment I left primary school.

Perhaps that’s why you can never read GP handwriting. Maybe you don’t graduate until you prove you can write joined up?

Glad to come back to this thread for some light relief. I stupidly read a thread on the pregnancy board that turned out to be very TERFy and it’s made me cross.

@Emmaldo14 are you temping? It sounds like your body is getting ready to ovulate but not quiet getting there? If you took your temperature in the mornings you’d be able to track the ovulation dip that way xx

So thought I’d do another opk this morning and still flashing smiley, just did another this evening and another static smiley. This is my 3rd static smiley in the past 10 days…it’s been 10days since my first static, 4 days since my second and another this evening. Anyone have any insight into what an earth could be going on 3 peaks in one cycle? No EWCM or any other ovulation signs during this static if anything it very much post O cm. This is soooo frustrating!! 😫

@Peachycream maybe we could only use pencils in maths because it was hard and you could rub out all your wrong answers 😂
I work In schools now and they still do it they call it getting your pen licence 😂
Same never been asked for proof of anything I guess they weren’t overly bothered about my GCSEs when I was being paid like £4.85 an hour when I was 16. I genuinely thought that was a decent wage at the time😅😭

I knoowwwwwww 🥺 I just never got it? I mean I know it’s toys coming to life, I dunno, I think it always just seemed like a boys movie to me and I never really got into it. It just wasn’t my thing, I was all about the princess movies. Or the animal ones, I was a big Disney fan, I say was. I still am, Pixar meant nothing to me 😂
