Omg 😂😂😂😂 why has my phone changed 'peak' to 'leak' so many times!!!

Now I have images of getting my LH peak and shouting 'I'M LEAKING'.

I'm literally just laughing to myself here. Yep, I think I've finally lost it.

@HRP1990 and @SkeletonSkins just catching up and saw that HRP was saying the more you do OPKS the more you get to know your surge.

Just thought I'd add (as I only discovered this yesterday!) once you have more than one months worth of data you can basically 'overlay' the charts to see the differences and similarities. Not sure if you can see mine below? This blew my mind 🤯 but I may be late to the party! It's on charts, then settings, then overlay and then click how many months.

I've only used them for two months. I didn't get a huge leak last month... only 0.49 so it didn't even class itself as a leak. But because of my pattern last month I'm assuming it was a leak but with more diluted urine

@whatwonder - I also had a short luteal phase of around 10 days, but I got my BFP this cycle! I can off the pill in November, so it’s possibly taken my cycles 6 months to settle down.

There’s a useful thread on the conception board - short luteal phase gang. It suggests if it’s not settled after a few months you could try a high strength vitamin and vitamin B complex after you’ve ovulated. But it’s probably to let it settle on it’s own first 🤞

That’s so sad and such a shame, I hope you’re friend feels better and is enjoying the experience more now. I think everyone has such a perception of what pregnancy, birth and then childcare should look like that anyone who doesn’t fit into that ideal is then made to feel like they have failed in some way. And that simply isn’t true.
Like the “too posh to push” language. Birth can give some women a lot of anxiety and stress, if they have an option that can make that easier for them by having an elected C-Section then that’s great! Surely a calm and non-stress inducing pregnancy and birth is what’s best for everyone involved, inclusive of the child being born.
Although I’m not pregnant, I find the idea of childbirth extremely stressful, and until I am in that situation I don’t really know how I would be, but if you asked me right now, I would opt for a c-section. That doesn’t make my experience any less than anyone else who give birth vaginally. I’m just choosing the option that makes me feel more at peace 🤷‍♀️

😂 @HRP1990 well, it’s not my business, as long as you’re not causing me or anyone else any harm, why should I care how you wanna be defined? Just tell me what you want me to call you and I’ll do that and get on with the rest of my life as planned 😂

I agree with everyone, this group is so lovely and supportive, I’m really glad I found all of you cause you’ve all made this experience so much easier and pleasant for me just by being understanding 🥰

AF arrived today… 3 days early 😩 not sure if I should be concerned about this? I came off hormonal BC in April so I guess it hasn’t been that long and my cycle is still regulating. But it means that I only had a 9 day luteal phase this month, which I think is considered abnormal/short. Does having a short luteal phase this month impact my chances of conceiving next cycle?

Temp dip for me this morning, which along with my other signs, suggests my body is going to give ovulation a go at least. Looks like I’ll be DTD to celebrate my exam being over 😂😂

Last post, but I’ve attached my FF chart. I’m hoping it’s all accurate, but I’m so glad I’ve been temping this cycle because it looks like I’ve ovulated before I even had a peak! So this makes me 3DPO, Premom says 1DPO today..

@Mrsspoon3 So I got a BFP positive last week but it's still really early days so just hoping and praying it sticks and trying to not get my hopes up too much. I went off contraception about a year ago but it was my second proper cycle. I also used BBT and clearblue, although I ended up buying the CB fertility monitor from a lady who didn't need it anymore. Mainly because I couldn't stop myself POAS but the monitor restricts me 😅

I don't think I'll ever fully leave this thread though because I've become personally invested in everyone's journey!!

@glasspaw I love the 🦥 ... honestly random emoji use is just too cute! Although slightly weird 🧙‍♀️ is now one of my most used!

In other news, temp plummeted today so AF will be on her way a some point today so I'm done for this cycle. Didn't even bother testing. Roll on cycle 6...

Had to go and read that thread @glasspaw and it made me so angry. I often get cross over inequality for women but that thread is insane. Who do they think they are? I don't know how you can be so full of hate for people you don't even know or taken the time to understand.
Totally agree with you @Peachycream - I have a friend who couldn't breastfeed and she felt like a total failure because of comments like that. Because kids wasn't something that was on my agenda until recently I've been made to feel less woman by people who just assume you get married and then you have kids and if you dare to say when asked that you don't really want them right now you're made to feel like a freak.
Sorry for the rant but that thread really had me raging and this felt like a safer space to vent x

@glasspaw just reading through that thread, saw a post and thought YES thank you, amazing reply, then realised it was you. The problem is, those posters are so awful, that people who disagree just don’t reply now and so they become an echo chamber and think they’re the majority. I have absolutely no problem in saying woman and pregnant people - addition does not equal erasure like it says.

Thanks for those @HRP1990, that’s helpful. It’s low this evening but higher than it has been in the evening if that makes sense. I’ve also possibly had some sharp pains on my left side which could be ovary pain or could just be me making stuff up in hope 😂 anyway I’ll see what the opk brings tomorrow!

I have a huge final exam tomorrow, to qualify officially in my job, and I’m just more focused on whether I’m ovulating or not 😂

@KayL1988 Thank you! It was really tough getting my hopes up both times with the chemicals, especially as I didn’t even know they were a thing the first time, but the nurse who did one of the tests said at least it shows things are working, so I’m hoping that’s the case!!
I’m using the clearblue digital ovulation tests and also bbt on fertility friend. Mostly it’s all worked fine until this month, when I’m not sure at all when I ovulated! Got a static smiley on day 23 (weirdly long cycle this month), a cheap opk had turned negative by day 24, but my bbt didn’t rise until day 27, so super confused haha 🤷‍♀️
