I had really weird ovulation dates. I was tracking my temperature and it was all over the place.

Went to infertility clinic and had a laparoscopic investigation and only one of my tubes unblocked but spasmed any time it was touched.

I stopped taking my temperature started saving for IVF and never had another period, I was pregnant

The only thing I don't different was hold my legs in the air for 5 mins after dtd 😂

Good luck op it's a stressful time

toadstool32 · 25/06/2021 11:37

@anotheronettc you can do blood test at home through medichecks

squishyegg · 25/06/2021 11:29

Just tell a white lie and say you have been trying for over a year? X

anotheronettc · 25/06/2021 09:51

So.. update for anyone who cares haha! Day 43, temp at 36.79 this morning and no period. 14 dpo. Negative pregnancy test. My app is now suggesting I ovulated on day 36 due to my sharp temp increase, and I didn't have sex around that time as I thought I ovulated around day 28 when I was having positive Lh tests. I'm predicting my period to arrive soon tbh, surely it has to (wish it would bloody hurry up now). Just really want to figure out my cycle. Anyone from the Uk know if you can have blood work to look at irregular cycles (even if you haven't been trying for a year?) xx

@toadstool32 ah congratulations, you must feel over the moon xxx

@bethabean oh wow! Well that's encouraging, I did read that 90% of women get their positive results at 14 dpo interestingly. Well.. my temp is still very high and no period so I'm not entirely giving up hope for this cycle but I've accepted it might not be and there's always next cycle :)

bethabean · 24/06/2021 20:25

bethabean · 24/06/2021 20:25

I didn't get my positive until about 23dpo op! Now nearly 11 weeks Smile

anotheronettc · 24/06/2021 16:26

meerkatmammy · 24/06/2021 12:31

@anotheronettc I've been following this post but never commented. I really hope you get your bfp ❤️

anotheronettc · 24/06/2021 10:20

Thanks guys. Still no sign of my period and I've never had such sore dark red boobs! TMI sorry. But who knows. I'll test tomorrow if my period still hasn't arrived xx

Such a frustrating time. You'll get your BFP soon hopefully

november90 · 23/06/2021 17:38

My cycles are painfully irregular too which is just so frustrating with TTC. The best way to do it is try and figure out when you're ovulating and then add 14 days. Don't think too much about the entire cycle length! Once you know your own ovulation symptoms your period date can be pretty accurate!
Thinking of you OP, do keep us updated ♥️

anotheronettc · 23/06/2021 16:26

@MyMabel sorry to hear that must have been hard! I honestly don't think I'll use these tests again x

anotheronettc · 23/06/2021 16:25

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling alright today now, just moving on and trying to figure out plan nice things. No sign of period yet but it's so irregular I don't take that as a sign. So I'll just wait now and see what happens. Thank you all for your support x

This was mine OP.

I came on my period. Also took multiple FRER test with faint lines.. I won’t take another frer ever again, their evaps are terrible.

I’ve never used to have an issue with the co-op tests, these acutest ones. But this cycle I got this and I was made up, ready to surprise DP for father day. Then my period came a few days later. I’ve never been so gutted. I think it was pretty likely it was a chemical pregnancy.

My fingers are crossed for you, I hope you get the result you want.

Do you think this is a positive
november90 · 23/06/2021 15:54

Oh OP I'm so sorry. I kept checking this thread hoping for better news :(
I've seen people post that they've had a positive OVulation test when they were pregnant so that could be a good sign but in all honestly those tests should be getting darker by now. Maybe it's just because they've been done so close to each other, maybe you ovulated late or maybe it didn't stick (💔), but whatever the answer is I know that this is so tough, almost torturous when you just want to know what's going on. It's easy to say stop the tests, but not easy to do so. Sending you lots of love and hoping you're ok xxx

anotheronettc · 23/06/2021 09:33

@Eachpeachpears yeah you are right I just got too excited at the prospect in future I won't be testing until the day of my missed period. I def got too wrapped up!! Thank you xx

OP posts:
Eachpeachpears · 23/06/2021 09:24

Sweetheart, for your own mental health you need to stop testing so much. I know it's hard but it's not healthy and the stress won't be doing you any good at all.
I've seen faint lines on some of your tests but HCG doubles every 2 days so you need to wait 2 days between tests really. Now that you've taken some this morning, wait until Friday. It's hard but honestly you need to take a step back.
Also, discuss with your OH. Doing this amount of testing alone isn't good for you. You need real life support

anotheronettc · 23/06/2021 09:01

another question, yesterday I had a positive ovulation test, and my temp has increased today, could it be that I ovulated really late?? Maybe I'm just missing it entirely
