June - 8DPO - Anyone with me?

Hey,

I'm 8DPO and feeling super dizzy with a headache for the past two days, slight nausea and swollen nipples. It could well be AF as she is due in a weeks time (on my sons 1st birthday, how cruel is that by the way?!) Wink

Is anyone else on the same CD or there about? How are you feeling?

Hey lovelies, firstly congratulations to all the positives, I hope you have happy and healthy pregnancies.

Unfortunately I had some cramping yesterday which got worse in night but no 🩸 was going to take a test this morning but woken up to AF bit gutted but onwards and upwards, bring on July.

Skincareaddict · 18/06/2021 15:38

Hi girls - sorry I had taken a couple of days out to wallow. Bought a bbt thermometer to add that in to the mix from this month!

Sorry to hear that AF arrived @AureliaRose but on to the next month - we're in this together

@LeeTTCRainbow are you going to test again tomorrow ? Fingers crossed AF stays away for you.

@Charliecircle11 super frustrating when AF arrives, but on to next month we go!

Pasha82 · 18/06/2021 15:25

@Yas34 welcome! I used to chart before I had my DD but only for six months as you can get a good picture of peak times. I got bored of doing it tbh. It took me 12 months to conceive with my first, but that was when I was much younger! Charting suits some but not others. Whatever works for you. Best of luck.

Yas34 · 18/06/2021 10:30

Hi ladies,

Hope I can join. It’s great to see BFPs here, very encouraging! My husband and I have been trying for the last 4 months. I had normal ovulation for the last 2 months after taking hormone management medication. So in theory I should have the same chances as the average woman.

I’m keeping a journal of ovulation results, DTD days and TWW symptoms. This cycle we tried for 8 days straight over a 6 day period of high likelihood of ovulation and ovulation itself.

I’m taking pregnancy vitamins, have a healthy BMI and am a regular at my gym.

The only things I haven’t thrown into our monthly routine is charting.

Does anyone here recommend it? I’m willing to try if it helps with monitoring.

Pasha82 · 18/06/2021 10:27

@AureliaRose sorry to hear that. It's such a disappointment even though you know it's coming! Yes, on to the next month!

@LeeTTCRainbow how are you doing? Anymore symptoms?

AureliaRose · 18/06/2021 10:01

@Dstar12 That's great news about the line!

I'm out this month. AF started this morning and with a vengeance!

Good luck to all you lovely ladies. Baby dust! 💫

See you next month.

Dstar12 · 18/06/2021 05:20

Thank you @Cheekymonkey3112 and @Pasha82
I tried this morning with fmu and a frer and again a very faint lint. So going to wait a few days and see if the line gets darker 🤞

Cheekymonkey3112 · 17/06/2021 22:15

@Dstar12 that definitely looks like a positive to me!! Congratulations and welcome to the thread xx

Pasha82 · 17/06/2021 20:31

@Charliecircle11 sorry to hear that AF arrived. Better luck in July. I am CD4 today.

@AureliaRose I use the cheap ovulation tests called easy home. You can download their app which charts ovulation. Sorry , that's not very helpful as I haven't used anything else.

@Dstar12 welcome, that looks like a positive to me. Test again tomorrow to see if the line gets darker. Fingers crossed for you.

Good luck to those ladies still in with a chance this cycleSmile

Dstar12 · 17/06/2021 19:59

Hope you don’t mind me joining on here, been trying to see if a thread is recent!

I have been taking tests since about 9dpo, silly I know as they have all been negative. I’m estimating that I am now around 12dpo and decided to take another! AF should be due any time from Saturday-Tuesday as I have mixed 28-32 day cycles.

The test I did looks like this, to me it looks like a vvvv faint line, this is exactly what it looked like with my first and I never doubted it then! But this time I’m questioning if it’s a indent line or something 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 as the test I did on Tuesday was a FRER so surely it would have shown on there?

Any ideas if this could be faint? Or more likely to be evap/indent? Thanks!!

Have been using the Clearblue Advanced Connected Ovulation test that syncs to the app on my phone. Now need to buy a new kit.

Is the Clearblue Fertility Monitor basically the same thing, but also tests for pregnancy?

I'm not sure which to buy next? Stick with the one that connects to my phone or buy the monitor. Heard good and bad reviews about both. Any advice gratefully received!

Charliecircle11 · 17/06/2021 18:08

So my period started this afternoon 😩 but at least I know where I stand now and I am pleased that I’ve slipped back into a cycle in the first month of being off the pill. Can try again next month 😬

LeeTTCRainbow · 17/06/2021 12:01

@Charliecircle11 i had that with my first pregnancy (mmc) even underwear were uncomfy luckily i was working from home then so was living in baggy bottoms but i had a bump quickly from bloat, even now after my body stretched upto 13 weeks i still have a little pouch, amazing how quickly your body changes.

Charliecircle11 · 17/06/2021 11:43

@LeeTTCRainbow the bloat is awful! Even elastic is uncomfortable. Has eased slightly as the week has gone on but the pain in my ribs is still there. I could lie and say that I won’t test daily but i will 🙏

LeeTTCRainbow · 17/06/2021 11:33

Hey Girls, I'm also so bloated haven't tested again, AF due today so far had no symptoms its coming. will take another test tomorrow or Saturday if AF doesn't arrive before.

@Cheekymonkey3112 maybe its hard to know as with my mcc i took a test day before AF was due with FR and was clear positive, so im not sure what to think.

LeeTTCRainbow · 17/06/2021 11:28

@Charliecircle11 thats so exciting fingers crossed, line gets stronger in next few days.

Im also so bloated havnet tested again, AF due today so far had no symptoms its coming. will take another test tomorrow or saturday if AF doesnt arrive before.

Charliecircle11 · 17/06/2021 11:19

@Pasha82 only 11 dpo so still very early. Felt bloated for about a week and pain in ribs. Really vivid dreams and heightened sense of smell. Could be PMS related, only came off the pill last month so who knows what symptoms I have with a period anymore, been on the pill 15 years!

Pasha82 · 17/06/2021 11:07

@Cheekymonkey3112 fingers crossed for you and hopefully it is still early on the test front.

@Charliecircle11 how many dpo are you? All you can do is test again tomorrow and see if the line improves. Fingers crossed.

Charliecircle11 · 17/06/2021 10:26

I did a test this morning. The second line came up after 10 mins but it is so faint I need a torch to see it. It is pink though, not grey. Not getting my hopes up. Husband said he thinks it’s just an evap line but it’s pink! Going to keep testing

Cheekymonkey3112 · 16/06/2021 21:53

Hi girls!!

@LeeTTCRainbow ugh that's gutting although maybe CB is more sensitive than the FRER?? Have you taken any others? I'm 11dpo and another BFN. Still testing everyday, because I'm nuts 🙃 just waiting for AF to show. Any time before Sunday x

Charliecircle11 · 16/06/2021 18:02

Been away for a few days but I feel so pants! The bloating is ridiculous and pain under my ribs as well. Really vivid dreams, such random things. 10dpo and negative test but still early. Going to keep testing every couple of days, as I cannot help it!!! Just bought some cheap Tesco ones as I am literally peeing money down the toilet otherwise!

AureliaRose · 16/06/2021 12:33

@Pasha82 @pinkypink24 Thanks ladies. You've made me feel a lot better knowing that I'm not alone. Will keep trying to be positive and time will tell.

Pasha82 · 16/06/2021 12:14

@pinkypink24 thanks for the tip. I will look into those. Part of me feels like I'm trying too hard and that inadvertently is causing stress. I am trying to get healthy ie more exercise and less eating junk, but I love wine and chocolate! It is early on and coming off the pill does mess with the cycle. It will happen ladies x

pinkypink24 · 16/06/2021 11:14

@Pasha82 @AureliaRose Hi lovelies x

P.S Im 41 & it's my 1st time TTC. I swore to myself that we were just going to let 'nature take its course' and see what happens & that I wasn't going to turn into a crazy or get desperate about it all 😩 It's all new to me too, I've only been off the pill & tracking periods for 3 months ... I feel I have a lot to learn regarding getting to know my body in such a short space of time as time is no doubt against me too.

I've just purchased these - I've noticed that on other forums there is talk that they have been recommended to take by IVF specialists as they can help improve egg quality etc, absolutely no idea if they will help but worth a shot ( they come recommended for older women too such as myself )

Pasha82 · 16/06/2021 11:02

@AureliaRose I am 39 and month 3 ttc. I have a DD but it's still very stressful when you feel that it will never happen. It's funny how the mind can behave irrationally. It's all very consuming and hard to think about anything else. I just feel like time is against me, but we have to remain positive and let the body do its things.
