@Mattieandmummy I'm doing my best not to worry but it's hard lol although I've had friends go through pregnancy with hardly no symptoms and even my acupuncturist said symptoms like sickness are a sign of imbalance so it's good I'm not having it.

@October1979 I've attached a pic of my Ava from last week and apart from the rising at the end (caused by COVID) you'll see my pulse rate continued to drop. But now the strap has broken on it so I haven't been wearing for the past few days, which I guess is good cause it was making me paranoid too. So I'd advice you to put it away now and forget about it until we need it again for TTC #2 Smile

@sabtom glad you are on the mend. I totally hear you with expecting the worse. It's hard not too. Stay positive. I've no real symptoms except sensitive boobs but I think they have lessened over time. I am obsessed with Ava and my resting pulse rate not going up. I don't know if this a Problem. How is yours doing? I have a scan next Friday when I should be 7weeks. It's a tough time hang in there xx

@sabtom please don't worry about lack of symptoms, I have had zero symptoms in all three pregnancies until at least 10 weeks. Two of those pregnancies were miscarriages but one of those is currently asleep in her car seat so symptoms or lack of symptoms really mean nothing x

sabtom · 17/07/2021 12:55

@October1979 all good thanks! I'm on my last day of isolation after testing positive for COVID, thankfully only mild symptoms. I have another scan on Thursday when I'll be 9 weeks. This will be the really nerve racking one as it was around 8/9 weeks last time when I was told the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks 😩 Still don't have any major pregnancy symptoms, even my boobs don't feel as sore and the bloating has subsided. I'm still hungry allllll the time though. How's everything with you? Thanks

October1979 · 17/07/2021 12:41

@Geriatric1234 sometimes it just has to be done 😂. I don’t think as a one off it makes a great deal of difference. Also why should the guys get to have a few drinks and we can’t! Xx

Geriatric1234 · 17/07/2021 08:30

@Honey2 I have a hangover this morning after drinking THREE glasses of wine 🤦🏻‍♀️ …..totally worth it though! 😂

Catconfusion · 17/07/2021 06:58

@Catconfusion sorry I’ve just turned 42.

Mattieandmummy · 17/07/2021 05:00

Hello ladies.
I’m 41, TTC number 2. Cycle 6 when following OPKS, before couple of month without sticks.

Littlemiss40andfabulous · 16/07/2021 23:21

PS TTC number 1

Littlemiss40andfabulous · 16/07/2021 23:20

Great ideas @birdbybird

I'm 41 and got my BFP (currently 12 weeks) when TTC on cycle 12. One CP on cycle 9.

Catconfusion · 16/07/2021 22:40

@birdbybird catconfusion TTC #2 - cycle #5 early mc on cycle #1 #3 and #4

Honey2 · 16/07/2021 22:15

@Geriatric1234 for the first few months I was so committed, not drinking at all, super healthy eating researching all the vitamins and supplements… but I feel a bit disheartened as it doesn’t seem to have made any difference! I’m still taking the preg vits, but I’ve decided I can’t put the rest of my life on hold. If I want to eat cake and have a glass of wine I will!! 😊

Honey2 · 16/07/2021 22:09

@birdbybird nice idea!

Honey2 41 TTC#4 - Cycle#5 had early MC cycle#2 and #3 and chemical #4

Geriatric1234 · 16/07/2021 21:34

@birdbybird 42 ttc #1 cycle 7 1 loss.

@Honey2 1dpo and already on wine here!! Not sure I’m committed enough 😳

Lastyearttc · 16/07/2021 21:31

@birdbybird

Lastyearttc 42 - TTC#2 - Cycle #13 and have had 3 prior losses

birdbybird · 16/07/2021 20:53

I've had a BFN today at 10DPO and although AF has not arrived yet I'm already planning what I'll do next cycle. DTD on peak day minus one and peak day :)

Honey2 · 16/07/2021 20:52

@Lastyearttc I’m definitely with you on the wine!! Good news that all is well with your tests, but equally It’s quite demoralising when they say it’s all down to ‘luck’ at our age. Makes You feel so helpless…

all I keep thinking is that there are so many people having babies past 40 it must be possible if you are brave enough to keep going. Sue Redford practically popped one out every year between 40 and 44!

birdbybird · 16/07/2021 20:51

Ladies, would it be useful if I put together a list of us on this thread and where we are in our journey? Including the ladies who have their BFPs already. E.g. I'm:

birdbybird 40 - TTC#2 - Cycle #7 and have had losses in Cycle #1 and #2

Lastyearttc · 16/07/2021 20:18

@Geriatric1234 it was the nhs consultant but she also works privately at CARE Fertility. So maybe that was just her take on my odds for ivf I don't know. I'll look into it but gut feeling says I'd just stick to natural trying and what will be, will be.

Defo having wine tonight though lol
