Thank you @GingerFox2021 I was taking the Zita West Vitafem when I fell pregnant with ds and this pregnancy. Also DHA and EPA. Proceive do a really good supplement with both in. Also 200mg of ubiquinol which I started 3 months ago. Now have a strong bfp so you never know. Both DH and I have also been on a Mediterranean diet over the past few months too. We’ve not been super strict but I think it’s helped being on it some of the time with cheat days. I hope that helps. Xx

GingerFox2021 · 21/07/2021 22:03

Congratulations, Ladies with BFPs! Lovely to read good news, so it gives more hope to rest of us.
Could you please remind me what supplements or vitamins you were taking before getting pregnant? Thank you!

Catconfusion · 21/07/2021 20:16

Thanks @birdbybird for the list.

Can I just ask how much folate people are on? Ive started proceive first trimester tablets which have 400mcg. I was taking an inositol supplement as well which has an extra 100mcg of folate to make 500mcg. Research seems to suggest this is a good level. The only thing is it has chromium in it and my prenatal has it in too so I’m worried about taking too much so might stop taking the inositol. I would just take an extra Folate tablet with the proceive but i’m a bit worried taking 800mcg is too much. It’s so annoying you can’t get it in 100mcg tablets.

Think of me tomorrow. Im having the tooth out and I’m petrified. The dentist reassured me the anaesthetic and antibiotic I’ll need are safe in pregnancy but I'm still worried. Xx

Yay @Littlemiss41andfabulous that’s fantastic news. I’m so pleased for you. Enjoy your lunch out. I remember those post scan lunches. It’s so lovely to celebrate such a big milestone. Xx

Littlemiss41andfabulous · 21/07/2021 11:33

My baby is normal size with a heartbeat! I saw baby with its legs out like it was swimming, and then later put its hand to its mouth.

Came out and promptly burst into happy and relieved tears in the loo that everything is ok.

Due date 27th January so only one day earlier than I thought.

Me and DH off out to process the good news over lunch now.

Catconfusion · 21/07/2021 09:44

Thank you so much @Mum2baby07 and @99pctpractice

So my dental problem has come to head and it’s looking like I’ll need the extraction early. I’m so scared of getting an infection and losing the pregnancy. Also scared about the affects of the anaesthetic on the baby. Antibiotics seem safe but I still worry. It would have been sorted by now if it wasn’t for Covid. Just wanting to chill during such an anxious time and now I have this to deal with.

Sorry for the rant. Obviously we’re over the moon and so grateful to be where we are but so worried it’s just going to get snatched away. It’d be awful if it was due to my dental problems. Also worried that the stress will affect the outcome. Xx

Mum2baby07 · 21/07/2021 06:56

@birdbybird late to the party but:

Mum2baby07 TTC #2 (first with partner) age 42 8mths cycle #1 actively TTC with all the gubbins #1 chemical April 2020 and #1 MC June 2021.

Mum2baby07 · 21/07/2021 06:52

@Catconfusion congrats! That sounds hugely positive and I think sometimes with the good eggs you just know really early and this is one of those times :)

Lots of lovely stories on here lately about bfps. Thrilled for you all, genuinely, but confess first cycle TTC after mc and I was convinced I was going to get pg. Caught my peak opk then had cramps and stomach pains around implantation time plus other pg symptoms but now just before AF due nothing at all. 12 dpo and won’t test as no I’m not pg and feeling really down. How can I get through each cycle if it’s going to feel this disheartening all the time?
Sorry to be so miserable in light of so much wonderful news around but just feeling like my last chance was my last mc….. :(

99pctpractice · 20/07/2021 22:49

Congratulations @Catconfusion!!! That’s awesome news - all fingers crossed this is the one good egg!!!!

Good luck @Littlemiss41andfabulous ! Fingers crossed everything’s right on track!!

@Mattieandmummy I hear you. Looking into ivf and it is soooooo expensive and still comes with no guarantee of a positive outcome so could just result in being broke and depressed instead of just depressed! Hopefully the luck of this thread is catching and there are some more bfps at the end of the rainbow …!

Geriatric1234 · 20/07/2021 22:38

Good luck @Littlemiss41andfabulous!!!

Catconfusion · 20/07/2021 22:06

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way @Mattieandmummy Just remember it’s sometimes darkest before dawn. Good news could be just around the corner. Xx

Good luck @Littlemiss41andfabulous hoping all is well and you get loads of reassurance, such a special day for you! Xx

birdbybird · 20/07/2021 21:38

@Littlemiss41andfabulous all the best for tomorrow and lovely to see you reach this special milestone.

@Mattieandmummy I hear you and feel much the same :(

Littlemiss41andfabulous · 20/07/2021 21:31

Think of me tomorrow - the day of my first ever antenatal scan has arrived at 12 weeks and 4 days!!!

Littlemiss41andfabulous · 20/07/2021 21:30

Sending big hugs @Mattieandmummy. You're not a moaner at all. It's important to express your sadness and frustration as well as your hope for the future and this group is a lovely place to do that xx

Mattieandmummy · 20/07/2021 20:45

Thanks, today I feel like everything is just stacked against me. Age, adenomyosis diagnosis, fear of another traumatic birth, no ewcm this month / having potentially f'd up this cycle by taking too much stupid epo at the beginning.

Whilst I would love to hold another baby in my arms am beginning to feel it's just not going to happen and I need to move on from that. I know I sound like such a moaner and need to get over myself as I have such a beautiful little girl that we so very nearly lost but today is hard.

Catconfusion · 20/07/2021 19:54

Thanks @Mattieandmummy I have a good feeling about this one for some reason. Fingers crossed you get some good news soon! Xx

Mattieandmummy · 20/07/2021 18:41

Congratulations @catconfusion, I really hope this is your month 🤞

Catconfusion · 20/07/2021 16:45

Thanks @Honey2 I'm hoping it's a good sign. I was a bit worried it was a sign of ectopic but google disagrees. We joked about it being twins last night, well I joked and DH mainly looked shocked. Apparently, only 0.5 percent of pregnancies show up that early. The frer is much darker today which is insane considering I'm only 9 dpo. Also feeling really sick and hungry. Fingers crossed it continues. xx

Honey2 · 20/07/2021 12:32

@Catconfusion fantastic news! So pleased for you. I am sure you are nervous as hell but a visible line at 8dpo surely must be a very good sign. Agree with @Geriatric1234 distraction is the key now!

@birdbybird I’m so sorry it’s not looking like your month. You are right - TTC is bloody hard, unfair and down right pants most of the time. But I have decided to believe it’s a matter of time and patience. So many of this group are getting pregnant so it is possible, we just need our golden egg!

Catconfusion · 20/07/2021 12:01

Thank you. I’m sorry to hear that @birdbybird it’s really horrible. I hope AF is here soon. Xx
