Newbie looking for some support

Hi ladies,

I’ve been lurking for a few days, just seeing what the deal is, trying to work out some of the terminology used, mostly going to post but then getting scared and carry on lurking haha.

I don’t really have anyone I can talk about the TTC journey with in my real life as we aren’t telling anyone as it stands so I’m hoping maybe I can make a few friends here that I can obsess and stress out with 🤣

I’m currently CD 7 in my first cycle so tracking with OPKs every day right now so that I can get a clearer picture of my cycle each month.

I’m 30 and this will be our 1st,

If anyone has any advice/is in a similar position to me or just wants a natter I’d love to hear from you 😊

So glad you'll stick around @glasspaw 🥰 awww and you got to test with your OH too. Lesson to us all .. have a FRER on hand! So I actually read somewhere (I think in another chat) someone else mentioned that.. I think the response was your uterus begins to stretch in preparation 😮

I think cramps early on are relatively common @glasspaw it’s so cute you did it together 🥰 huge congrats to you both!

Absolutely! This forum has been so helpful already. Will definitely stick around and keep you updated.

Showed my OH the faint one step test and then we did the FRER together. Glad I had it on hand as the cheapie line was so faint!

Weirdly I still have cramps like AF is going to start. I wonder how long that is supposed to last for? It’s very disconcerting.

Help guys

This is still negative right? I’d become very comfortable with my bfn and I don’t know what made me retest, but this happened after 4 mins. There’s something there but surely on CD29 it would be clearer?

It is a scary without protection the first time, I feel so naughty. Literally 😂

I’ve been on the either the pill or the injection since I was 17, I came off in the Summer last year. Took a while for my body to adjust after being on something for so long!

In other news.. no 🧙🏻‍♀️ she’s not technically due until tomorrow so still early days! I didn’t have any tests in to do one this morning 😩

Thank you so much for the welcome @glasspaw and @Peachycream, so reassuring to know it’s not just me! I’m feeling slightly more hormonally stable this month, it’s definitely been all over the show since coming off the pill 😂
