Frustrating Limbo

Currently AF is 5 days late/18 DPO and getting BFNs.

Healthy discharge, light cramps and sore boobs. I was dizzy at work around a week ago but otherwise no symptoms of either Pregnancy or AF.

Normally a pretty good, reliable cycle.

Just an update, AF finally showed up dead on 2 weeks late 🙄

So fingers crossed I can now move onto the next cycle.

It’s so horrible isn’t it! We’re trying for our first, and my SIL has given us everything from her children as they moved house and downsized, so our whole spare room is filled with baby stuff which is making it even worse!

I’m just worried there’s something wrong!

@Ida121 sorry for bumping in! I am on cd46 today, first cycle ttc#1, no af and start white bfn's! I do have irregular periods but last cycle was 34 days so when i decided to start trying in May i thought well at least my cycles arent too irregular🙄 i go from thinking im definitely out to trying to squueze more dtd in incase ive ovulated realllyyy late but in my heart i feel like i havent ovulated at all! Limbo land is horrible!

@Natt08 I’m just frustrated that I’m missing out on time TTC. But I’m terms of the actual missing AF I’m at a point where I’m like well I’ll just have to wait until a certain point then call the doctor. Stressing is probably making it worse so I’m really trying to keep myself occupied.

I’m 2 weeks late today, and I was gunna do another test this morning but then I thought there’s no point, I did a frer on Monday and that was negative!

Oh good! Sometimes busy is better! Yes I’m loving the sun! I’m just off food shopping for a bbq this afternoon 😄

I'm great, just busy at work, Sunshine is putting a smile on everyone faces though!

How's everyone doing? I'm currently CD45! Still no sign of AF and a BFN on Monday!

AF Arrived along with Heartbreak and Blood Tests 😩 So I've not wasted my time with them but they look pretty good!

Thanks for the advice guys, at least I'm out of Limbo now!

@babyboybluex thanks for the advice! I think I’m just worried about what’s going on with my body with the lack of AF, If that makes sense? I’ll just relax when AF arrives as it’s the nothing happening at all that’s getting to me!
I know I must be out as a FRER didn’t even show a faint line, it was stark white!

@CamillaEsther I’ve read about this on other threads! But nope I haven’t had a vaccine!

My confusion is, if we skip a cycle all together, do you just go straight to the next ovulation?! I’m confused as to what to do as now I have no idea
Where I’m at 🙄

@Natt08 @Ida121 - this may not be relevant to you both but have you had a Covid vaccine during this cycle? My AF was late last month for the first time in 27 years and it coincided with having my 1st vaccine.

Just jumping on here if you don't mind! Two months ago, my AF was 22 days late and I am never late (other than my first pregnancy) and I was getting BFN's constantly. Anyway, I got a blood test through the doctors and on the day of my results, AF came!!

As hard as it sounds try and not think about it! Distract your mind, get some activities planned, keep calm and enjoy yourself... AF will either come or you are in fact pregnant OR you may have just missed this month.

I am a sucker for testing but if can build some strength to not worry, you should get some answers. Sending hugs xx

When the blood tests arrive that's my next step if that's negative then I'm going to call Drs and ask their advise.

@Natt08 I caved and tested yesterday evening (really stupid) and got a BFN. Now I'm just frustrated, mainly at myself :)

Nope me either. I did a FRER yesterday afternoon after a 4hour hold and a stark white bfn. So I know I’m deffo not pregnant. Just a horrible waiting game for AF, but I’m worried that she’s still not shown up. CD39 today 😫

My last test i did was on Tuesday, and it was stark white! Although after reading on here constantly i think i'll be doubtful even if it was a BFP at this rate lol.

If i ovulated a week late, then that would put me at around 13/14DPO. As i got my peak on the Thursday, but i'm not 100% sure how long after the peak you actually ovulate as it can be between 12-48hrs i think!

@Natt08 the reason why I asked if you track your ovulation is because you don't really know if you're overdue if you don't know if you ovulated on time or late this month if that makes sense? So yes, you're overdue if you calculate with a regular cycle, but you aren't overdue if you ovulated a week later than usual.

Search SELFCheck Blood Test. I've just ordered 2, I'll let you know how I get on and knowing my luck AF will arrive on the same day!

Yeah, I tried FR and CB yesterday and not even a questionable evap line, so tried with FMU this morning, again absolutely nothing so Im out for a few days until these arrive or AF does!
