Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 6

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@LarasMama about 14 months. It felt like an absolute lifetime, but I know there are many people on here who have been trying much, much longer! 💔

By the end we started having CPs which meant that our only real option left was IVF - but the doctor wasn't convinced it would work since they weren't sure what was going wrong with the CPs. Thankfully a few weeks after the dr said that, we found out we had this little one on the way ❤️

LarasMama · 22/10/2021 15:30

@GlassLily Well let's see. Didn't end up dtd again. 🙈 But it looks like I'm in the luteal phase now. My RHR is high and stable. I assume I'm 3dpo.

How long did it take you to get your bfp? Congrats! 🥰

@larasmama I think it's about 24h? But think it's a long shot if you've already released the egg, as the sperm takes since time to travel I think.... However, you might not have ovulated yet, so get down to business just in case 🤣

@ls2020 sorry you're poorly. Hope it didn't cause any problems with travel.
I felt her wriggling around 17-18 weeks, just little tiny movements at first. By 20weeks they started to get a bit stronger. Now it's like having an acrobat in there!
Let us know how your scan goes!

LarasMama · 20/10/2021 19:33

@Juno231 I'm always spot on with the side. OPKs also turn negative shortly after. But with dd I didn't have ov pains. I thought I hadn't ovulated at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️
We also dtd 7 days prior to ov. Any point in dtd tonight if i ovulated last night/this morning? I always wonder how long after ov the egg can be fertilized

Juno231 · 20/10/2021 10:20

@LarasMama all I'd say is not to trust ovulation pains! I get them but my docs say it could just be follicles rubbing, and true enough whenever I've had scans it turns out I've ovulated from the opposite side I thought I had!

Hi llovely adies, I'm back! How is everyone?
If anyone remembers me...I held off ttc for a year (not trying not preventing) and I think I'm ready now. 🥰🙏🏻
1 dpo today only drd when I started heaving ovulation pains. How are the chances? I think they're quite slim. 🤷🏻‍♀️

LS2020 · 19/10/2021 06:19

@GlassLily yes they got me to walk around as they were all curled up so couldn’t measure right and when I sat back down they were not happy with me 😂
I’m in Greece until the Thursday on holiday so hoping that keeps me relaxed 😬 although OH came out with a cold and has passed it on to me and being poorly in a hot country is the worst!!

Oh my gosh I can’t believe how far along you are! When did you start feeling her wiggling? I’ll be half way at Xmas and hoping I might feel something by then 🤞🏻

GlassLily · 18/10/2021 13:23

@LS2020 Oh brilliant! Yes it's a great time for a scan isn't it, I had a scan at 9+1 and it was so lovely to see the baby wriggling for the first time. You must be getting excited for Friday! Hope you aren't too nervous.

I'm doing great thanks, 24 weeks so not far off the third trimester! It's all just flying past. She kicks me a lot, so it's great to get that as a sign that everything's ok. I'm starting to think about birth etc already!

LS2020 · 18/10/2021 06:26

@GlassLily all went well thank you! Even got to see the umbilical cord - amazing what they can see! That was just a private 10 week one yes and then have my 12 week one a week on Friday and then be on the normal NHS schedule 😌 (although they put me as high risk due to IVF so will add a few extra appointments I think). How are you doing?

GlassLily · 16/10/2021 09:18

Oh hang on was it the 10+1 you just had or have you had your 12w one now?

GlassLily · 16/10/2021 09:17

@LS2020 how was your scan lovely?

LS2020 · 13/10/2021 19:16

@mumof23188 hope you’re all on the mend now at least?

It’s actually today! We had a private one booked in pre our holiday to Greece tomorrow. Measuring 10+1 with lovely heartbeat and we got to see them wiggling around which was amazing 🥰

mumof23188 · 09/10/2021 08:55

@LS2020 thank you. He’s doing ok bless him. Yes just a nose swab for him. My partner has it now also. It’s been a domino effect in this house 😩.

Ah no, sorry to hear you’ve been poorly too. I’m glad it’s improved for you 😊. When is your next scan?

LS2020 · 09/10/2021 07:14

@mumof23188 oh no, hope he’s okay 😔 do you just have to nose swab a baby?

Sickness is more manageable, deffo had that not covid virus going round and coughing made so much worse. Now I’m just sick in the morning and then mildly nauseated til about 7pm but I can manage with getting it all done in the morning so to speak!

mumof23188 · 08/10/2021 14:19

@Juno231 he’s doing ok thank you. Just very snotty which is making him catch his breath and super sleepy. I know. I just wanted it on his medical records, he wasn’t bothered at all about the test. Didn’t even wake up 🤣.

How are you?

Juno231 · 08/10/2021 11:09

@mumof23188 oh no! How is he coping with it? I hope it's very mild! Also I can't imagine testing for it on a baby 🙊

mumof23188 · 08/10/2021 11:01

@LS2020 lovely to have the surprise 😍. How are you doing with the sickness now?

My poor baby has Covid 😩. He’s only 5 weeks old.

LS2020 · 06/10/2021 19:04

@Kona84 omg I can’t believe your little one in nearly here how wonderful 🥰 yes we’ve decided to just tell everyone May for due date and not give a date because it can always change!
Thanks for your chart, mines only just slightly higher than prepregnancy so nice to see it will probably rise still :) sorry to hear you’ve had GD, hope you’ve got under control.

@mumof23188 yes I was thinking that! No we’re not going to find out, we want the surprise. Probs will find out for any other kids we have. Glad to hear you’re recovering and hope you’ve managed to keep away from the baby!

Had my booking in appointment today which was lovely 🥰

mumof23188 · 04/10/2021 20:15

@LS2020 ahh a lovely early summer baby 🥰. Will you be finding out wether baby is a boy or girl?

Slowly recovering now. It was brutal and I’m double jabbed. My poor DS 1 has it atm. He’s been so poorly. My DD is better now but still can’t smell! Just hoping baby doesn’t get it.

Kona84 · 04/10/2021 18:51

This is my HR for my pregnancy I got my positive early feb. It fluctuates frequently

Kona84 · 04/10/2021 18:48

@ls2020 so happy that your scan went well.
I measured A few days behind at my 12 week scan and was given a due date of the 17th October but based on LMP would be more the 21st/23rd.
I’m 38 weeks now and am expecting to be induced before 40 weeks due to gestational diabetes so anything can change in regards to due date.

I’ve got pretty much everything ready for baby in regards to sleeping, bathing, changing.
I have my hospital bags ready (only just finished that though) I got so much stuff at my baby shower and managed to find some many good bargains in charity shops and market place.
And don’t worry if you don’t have everything remembering that most online places deliver within 1-2 days now anyway

LS2020 · 04/10/2021 10:23

@mumof23188 May 9th but measuring two days behind so might be a bit late!

Oh no you poor things, hope you’re recovering and feeling better now?

mumof23188 · 03/10/2021 22:49

@LS2020 awww look at your little baby 😍. How lovely. When is your due date? Sorry I’ve been rubbish at keeping up. We’ve all got Covid atm. Been a rough two weeks! Hope everyone is well xxx

LS2020 · 02/10/2021 13:53

@GlassLily it is and isn’t too bad. I throw up nothing on wake up and then just nauseous until about 4pm so I could be chucking up all day! Mines been bad since hitting week 6 so I hope it starts going soon 🤞🏻That’s what I’ve been trying to tell myself that it’s a good sign but it doesn’t help!

This is my big fear! I’ll be half way at Xmas and then it’s our busy season at work Jan/Feb and then when I get to March I’ll only have 6 weeks before I go on Mat leave.. how do I get everything done?! You’ve still got loads of time. Remember for first few weeks it just needs a place to sleep and some nappies!

Yes my RHR has plummeted 2bpm since yesterday 🤣 Tbf was kinda expecting it just to go back to normal levels maybe slightly high.

GlassLily · 02/10/2021 03:54

Oh not to mention the vomiting that started about 10/11 weeks I think 😬👍🏻 that was the absolute worst.
