Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 6

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@EveryMumDay
Thank you lovely!

Sorry to hear about your MMC ❤️

But, like you say there is eventually light at the end of the tunnel and if you have had a child already, at least you know it can happen! I wish you so much baby dust ✨

EveryMumDay · 21/05/2021 20:27

@mumof23188 many congratulations :)

@NJOBX many congratulations :)

It's so lovely to hear the pregnancy news.....there's light at the end of this long journey.

@Juno231 wish you all the best for your next appointment.

mumof23188 · 21/05/2021 20:16

@Juno231 argh same for me. I don’t get any notifications either. Glad to hear you are good and all recovered. What’s next with regards to your appointment in June? Mad to think we’re almost in June 😱. I’m 24+1 today. Yes thankfully the nausea has completely disappeared 🎉

@EveryMumDay sorry to hear about your MMC. Good luck for your TWW.

EveryMumDay · 21/05/2021 18:52

Thank you @Juno231.

I'm 35 years old, mother to a 6 year old son and been trying for second child since last year Feb. Had a miss miscarriage last year September followed by a surgical management last year October.

I've had no luck at all since the MMC (lots of woman say they are fertile after MMC bit it wasn't the case for me). I do use clearblue fertility monitor and clearblue ovulation 4 days predictor too. Not very good at temping as have disturbed sleep so that's no good for me. Looking closely at my Fitbit to see what the rhr does and last month I felt I could have caught but no I was one day late and my rhr was very high when usually is drops.

I'm taking pregnacare his and her conception tablet and this month started vitamin B6 tablet, as trying to see if it would extend my LP. It's always been 12 days after positive opk but last month it was 13 days.

Will be going for a private clinic for get myself and DH looked into as we both tested (day 3 and day 21 blood tests & semen analysis) and the doctor couldn't explain the results to us as she said she's not a specialist in that area. Hoping the private clinic can shed some light into what is happening.

@EveryMumDay of course! welcome! We've found that the general pattern is a higher RHR in the LP - if it stays high/climbs even higher in the second half of the TWW it bodes well for a BFP whereas if it starts dropping you know the witch is on her way. How long have you been TTC, and is this your first?

@mumof23188 omg tell me about it - I haven't received a single notification since well before xmas now - for any thread, DM or whatever. I'm good - 3DPO on cycle 18 now. Not holding my breath! Just waiting for my next appointment in June really. How many weeks along are you now? Your nausea had better gone away by now!

Hello lovelies 🥰

@Juno231 thanks for setting up the new thread. Hope you are well? I lost the last one and wasn’t getting any notifications! Wishing you all the luck in the world for this cycle.

EveryMumDay · 21/05/2021 16:32

Hi ladies. Please can I join, as would love to know more about the rhr and trends to bfp? I check my Fitbit everyday many times during the day, as in the tww again and around 3-4dpo.

Marvellouslymadmum · 21/05/2021 09:59

Thanks for the tag @Juno231 I know I haven't posted much on here yet but I've been following along still trying to get the hang of the rhr business - mine just seems to be all over the place 😂

NJOBX · 21/05/2021 09:49

@Juno231
Good luck to you this cycle! 🤞🏼 Keep us updated, you will have to show us your chart as it progresses, I hope it keeps getting higher for you! ☺️

I literally shouted him and then paused for ages and then got all excited and got him to come in to the bathroom as I was waving the test around in the air 🤣 I then took a load more tests because he still wasn’t believing it haha.
To be honest, I’ve been getting really bad nausea and headaches as of last Sunday. I haven’t actually thrown up but I sometimes think the feeling of nausea is worse when you can’t throw up because it just never goes 😩 I have my first midwife appointment on Monday so I’m feeling very nervous about that! X

Juno231 · 21/05/2021 09:42

@NJOBX ah yeah you have to manually do it! Luckily I remember most of the names by heart now - how sad is that! How are you feeling today? How did you tell OH btw?

@glasslily it made me laugh that you wondered when the thread ends as you posted the last comment on it - shutting it down Grin

3DPO today, RHR is on 71 so it's on the rise for the LP. Highest it's been all cycle so far!

@Juno231
Thanks for tagging! I literally tried to make a new one about 20 minutes ago but it wouldn’t let me tag any of you 🤦🏼‍♀️X
