Tracking your cycle and possible BFP using RHR - part 6

Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

@LarasMama well your BPM chart is beautiful in the mean time! I'm doing well! 31 weeks today, can't believe I have made it this far 🥰

@Juno231 I am quite surprised myself. It’s still so early, that I hope all goes well. Had my bloods taken yesterday and will go again tomorrow. At age 40 i’m considered high risk.

How are you? How far along are you now?

Yeah I'm thinking that too. Oh well, guess we'll see what happens! @Juno231

Juno231 · 08/06/2022 11:51

@Gizzy93 I'm tempted to say you could be just 5dpo today based on your temps. They're looking good though so fingers crossed!

@LarasMama omg that didn't take long!! Congratulations!

Turns out I put the wrong temp in this morning. Still a big drop but not as big

Congrats @LarasMama!!

According to FF I'm 7dpo, I thought I ovulated on CD 12 or 13 but using OPKs, I never even got a peak and was only high CD 14 and 15.

Massive drop this morning and some af-like cramping so not very hopeful!

BFP at 11 DPO. Now 15 DPO. My line is getting stronger 🙏🏻

Update: I ovulated late (for me anyway) on CD15. Started 200 mg progesterone on 3dpo. Today I’m 5 dpo. My RHR now has a steady rise, which I hardly evet get in my luteal phase. I have no symptoms yet. But fingers crossed. 🙏🏻
Dtd 2-O, 1-O, missed O day (O was in the eve), so dtd the morning after for good measure.

Is this rise what’s supposed to happen in the LP? Guess I really had issues with progesterone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi ladies, not sure if anyone remembers me, but I'm finally back and truly ready to ttc #2. It's been quite challenging with a toddler but now she's three and I feel more prepared.

Unfortunately my cycles are playing tricks on me. Last cycle I suspect was an unovulatory cycle as it only lastes 14 days and instead of OV i welcomed AF 😞

This cycle doesn't seem to be more promising at all. CD12 currently.

I had loads of ewcm starting as early as CD6 up until CD11, now it's dried up. I did opks 3-4 times a day, held my pee for a minimum of 3 hours and never got close to a positive. (see picture)

Now I'm starting to feel crampy, not ov pains but af type pains. I usually ov around cd10-13.

My RHR doesn't give much away either. It's pretty much plateaued.

I suspect that the myo insositol I started in Mid-January has caused some sort of hormonal imbalance as I have no pcos and only took it for egg quality. Stopped it 2 weeks ago.

I guess I'm just here looking for support. Feeling quite freaked out that this turns into another aovulatory cycle.

Could I have misses my surge? I've never missed it as it's usually 1 day long.

See pics Mon, 9th May was cd1, the first high RHR was due to food poisoning (could that have messed up my cycle too?)

@Juno231 pretty sure when I ovulated. Suspect I had implantation bleeding two days ago, only a little pink discharge. How soon after that can you get bfp?

Juno231 · 18/05/2022 16:24

@Selmamalte an 11dpo bfn is discouraging but if I was purely looking at the rhr I'd be pretty excited I think! How confident are you that your OD is correct?

@LS2020 ah congratulations!! Did everything go okay with the birth? Are you healing well?

28 weeks here and my RHR is still so high. To put it into perspective, my FP RHR would be in the low 60s and nowadays I'm more like low to mid 80s. Madness!

So what do you think of this one? Im 11 dpo, still bfn. Had some light pink spotting 2 days ago.
(one pic over this month, and one over the past three month)

Thank you! Gosh the newborn stage is hard isn’t it 😂 don’t know how people have more than one!!

Kona84 · 09/05/2022 10:01

Congratulations @LS2020

mumof23188 · 07/05/2022 08:17

@LS2020 huge congratulations on the birth on your baby boy 💙. So happy for you! Hope you are both well ♥️

LS2020 · 07/05/2022 05:55

@mumof23188 sorry I missed your message! How is your little one 8 months now?!

Been a little busy recently and had my baby boy Thursday morning, induced a week early. He’s 7lb 13 and we are totally in love 🥰 thanks for all the support on this chat and excited to hear about the rest of the babies to arrive ❤️ Ultimately learnt my RHR can not be trusted to follow any logic pattern 😂

BabyNo03 · 04/05/2022 15:21

@Juno231 Thank you so much for the reassurance. I really appreciate it x

Juno231 · 04/05/2022 14:47

@BabyNo03 very common and nothing to worry about! Lots of us had huge drops at that point but I think all of us went on to have our babies

BabyNo03 · 04/05/2022 11:52

Hi All.

Just had a little read through this thread. I'll attach my chart. I'm 7+2 and obviously freaking out that my RHR had dropped. I can see that many of you had a drop around 7 weeks? Is that quite common? Should I prepare for bad news?

Thank you x

@LS2020 how are you getting on? Hope everything is good with you?

My baby boy is 6 months old now 😱

GlassLily · 07/03/2022 07:41

Thank you @Juno231!! 4 weeks ago, and my rhr has just got back to its normal level for anyone interested!

Wow 16+3, I am so happy for you! Your little one will be here before you know it. Hope pregnancy is treating you well. I can hardly believe my baby is really here 😊 but I already miss being pregnant!

LS2020 · 05/03/2022 06:12

@Juno231 how are you already 16 weeks that’s insane but glad your pregnancy is progressing well ❤️

@Kona84 lovely to hear you’re all getting on well, despite the lack of sleep! Making me excited for my little one to be here… 9 weeks to go 🤞🏻

Kona84 · 03/03/2022 23:01

Sorry for late replies I don’t come on mumsnet that often now

Kona84 · 03/03/2022 23:01

@Juno231 Edith is 19 weeks, think we are in the sleep regression but she’s still the light of my life, even if it is a tired life at the moment haha.
Hope you are well.

Juno231 · 28/02/2022 08:41

@Nyxxie fingers crossed!

@bfnancy I'm so glad everything is progressing well!

@Kona84 how are you doing? What's the latest?

@GlassLily ah congratulations!! When did it happen? Did all go okay?

I'm 16+4 now and know that it's a baby girl. Starting to buy bits and bobs and it's all very exciting still!
