Hi ladies,

This is for all of us with heart rate monitors who wish to help each other analyse the RHR patterns throughout our cycles.

Early research shows there's a correlation with increasing RHR and BFPs - so let's try and spot some together!

Hello ladies, sorry to barge in like this! But - I've just got my first ever bfp after 3 1/2 years ttc, on my first fresh ivf transfer. The first thing I noticed about a week after transfer, was that I'd had palpitations, so checked my Fitbit and noticed my resting heart rate had gone up considerably; it had never before been in the 80s! So just wanted to share my experience in case it helps x

@Alicespring wonderful news! I hope all went well and that you and baby girl are doing well too.

@LS2020 wow well done to the weight loss! I'm on holiday atm but keep thinking once I'm back I'm going to finally get my arse into gear and get fighting fit for ivf and pregnancy. 4th of Aug is so soon! Are you doing long protocol did you say?

@mumof23188 wow 32 weeks - that has flown by! Def pack that bag earlier this time, surely baby #3 will come out in no time 😂

@GlassLily I'm so glad you're so close to the 12 week mile stone. When's your due date again?

@LS2020 it really has flown by, can’t quite believe it. 7 weeks to go as of tomorrow! No not even ready at all, I’ve got all the big stuff as had it already for my DS. Need to get clothes, nappies etc. I’m so last minute tho. I packed my hospital when I was in labour last time 🤣.

Ah fantastic news ☺️. Roll on the 4th!! Is time dragging for you? I hope not. Xx

LS2020 · 20/07/2021 16:24

@mumof23188 wow that’s gone so quickly - are you mostly sorted with everything now?

@GlassLily so pleased this ones a sticky little bean - yes you will have to start getting organised!! 6 months is a long time though so you will be fine :) don’t worry on your RHR now baby has their own placenta, they’re no longer linked!

@Alicespring congratulations lovely! Enjoy the newborn bubble ☺️

Had my final blood tested yesterday for IVF, vitamin D is fine and no results yet on screening but as that’s for HIV etc I’m not worried on. Now just to roll on for the 4th!

mumof23188 · 19/07/2021 22:04

@Alicespring ahh lovely news. Congratulations 💓 hope you and baby are well.

EveryMumDay · 19/07/2021 18:52

@Alicespring many many congratulations to you and your family Smile Hope you all are doing well. Enjoy motherhood and making sweet memories too 💕

Alicespring · 19/07/2021 18:40

Just wanted to pop on the thread that started it all to let you know I had my baby girl this weekend. Really hope all you guys get your babies soon 😊

GlassLily · 14/07/2021 22:32

*when rhr was at its lowest
Stupid autocorrect

GlassLily · 14/07/2021 22:31

@LS2020 I'm good thanks, rhr has been all over the place, up and down like a rollercoaster and I'm just accepting it, I will only worry if it gets to af levels - but I'm currently about 14bpm above that! I'm 11 weeks tomorrow.
I had a transabdominal scan at 9 weeks when the was at its lowest, and everything was great, baby was kicking around and it was amazing. Next scan is in just under 2 weeks. I keep needing to pinch myself, I can't believe this one has stuck.
If all goes well at the 12 week scan I'll have to start thinking about an actual baby coming out in 6-7 months and what stuff I need to get, etc.... Never thought I'd get to that point! Now it's within reach I am so excited and terrified something will go wrong over the next few weeks! But I am optimistic, I know that the odds are heavily in my favour at this point so just keeping that front of mind 🤞🏻

Great to hear about all the IVF progress happening for you ladies, I've heard so many IVF success stories, fingers and toes crossed for everyone! ❤️

mumof23188 · 14/07/2021 20:00

@LS2020 so excited for you to finally be able to get started lovely. I’m 32 weeks tomorrow 😱 xx

LS2020 · 14/07/2021 17:37

@EveryMumDay hope tests go well, it’s a relief to get them sorted sometimes! Odd on the HSG results, I got my Hycosy result there and then. Hopefully these injections work for you!

Thanks @mumof23188! How far along are you now? Xx

mumof23188 · 13/07/2021 10:22

@LS2020 all good here thank you ☺️. Oh wow, not to long at all. Great news 😍. I’m sure the days will drag by for you tho, always does when you are waiting for something doesn’t it.

EveryMumDay · 12/07/2021 20:01

Hey @LS2020,

I'm ok now. Last week Monday I went for my first private fertility appointment and got my transvaginal ultrasound scan with getting my blood test results to measure the folicles and how many there are. Seems I have less folicles but it's workable so consultant suggested injections assisted for 2 months and then think about IVF. If I want IVF she said to drop a few kgs which is normal to do I guess.

I wish the NHS would have done this blood test as gives more answers in what is happening and the transvaginal confirmed it too. Then last week Tuesday I had the HSG through NHS as my private consultant said go get the test done so least we know a little bit more information. I'm not getting the HSG results until end of August, so I'm glad that I'll be getting my first injection next month. Getting somewhere than nowhere. My heart rate has climbed up since yesterday as I'm now 5 days after getting my peak last week Wednesday.

That's brilliant news for injections. Definitely, not far to go. It's just round the corner. Exciting :)

LS2020 · 12/07/2021 19:40

Thanks @EveryMumDay how are you doing?

Hi @mumof23188 @GlassLily how are you both getting on? Thanks! Injections start 4th august so not too long. Feeling ages but sure will come quick.

GlassLily · 11/07/2021 12:20

@LS2020 wow congrats on half a stone! Amazing work. Definitely worth missing one cycle for, sounds like you will be ship shape for the IVF!

mumof23188 · 11/07/2021 10:23

@LS2020 hi ☺️. Sorry for CD1. Fantastic news on the weight loss. When is everything getting started for you? Hope you are well 🥰

EveryMumDay · 07/07/2021 22:10

@LS2020 sorry to hear af arrived :( oh whoa congrats on losing half a stone. That's brilliant news :) Hope it all goes well for you.

LS2020 · 07/07/2021 15:44

CD1 for me and it never rose so definitely did not ovulate last month! I am massively dieting ahead of IVF so maybe something to do with that. In good news I am down a half stone and this is now my last period before injections start 😬

EveryMumDay · 04/07/2021 09:11

@LS2020 got everything crossed for you. Its looking positive.

LS2020 · 04/07/2021 08:43

@Juno231 @EveryMumDay I don’t bother using OPKs etc anymore but the mini jump it’s exactly when I was due to and that bits very consistent with previously O days so who knows?! Must not have! Back up to 54 today so will see. Mostly hope it’s not a late start on period as that will push my IVF back and I’ll be fuming 😂

EveryMumDay · 03/07/2021 22:16

@LS2020 thank you and I hope everything goes well for you too. Its just waiting game to go through the loops I guess but least something is happening.

I'm on CD 9 today and my rhr has jumped from yesterday to today by 4bpm! I'll start testing for ovulation tomorrow morning.

Your chart did you do something different? Like what Juno said did you ovulate this month?

Juno231 · 03/07/2021 21:18

@LS2020 that's odd!! Any chance you havent ovulated this time? Jab or something delaying it?

OP posts:
LS2020 · 03/07/2021 21:02

Comparative day last cycle was that little hill before the big one before AF started :/

LS2020 · 03/07/2021 21:01

I’m about 9dpo and I’m a bit concerned with what’s going to happen with my RHR this month as normally it drops off massively for AF but where’s it going to go?! 🤦‍♀️

LS2020 · 03/07/2021 21:00

@EveryMumDay hope it goes well! They’ll deffo show you where you are when you go for your scan so I wouldn’t worry until they tell you either way 😊 on mine they said ‘I’d just ovulated’ but it was a couple of days past so found an odd comment and wish I’d got them to clarify as now I wonder if I’ve worked from wrong dates!

Nurses consultation went well for IVF and I start on the 4th August 👏🏻
