@K8Tee I had just flown back from Vegas when I found out I was 6/7 weeks pregnant with DC1. Let’s just say I did not take it easy... 🥴😂 he was born perfect 9lbs and is now a wild 4yo!

Ah that’s a shame @Twochews78 but I reckon you and @Ttcbn2 will only have to go another day and hopefully you will both be seeing your BFPs xx
@Sunshine8888 I’m about 3 dpo I think, so at the beginning of the TWW think my AF is due about 27th May, I’m hoping it comes later (if not at all) as I would appear to have a really short luteal phase this month which I hadn’t noticed before all this tracking!xx

@Eyedontknow may pop to the shops on the way back from the gym tomorrow! I’m still only 9/10 DPO so I’ll be better to get the FRER do you think?

@K8Tee it's a totally personal decision. Some doctors say it's fine as until week 6 or so the baby will not get any nutritions from you. They recommend not to drink more than 10 drinks in a week, 2 a day. So many women don't know they are pregnant until after AF was due.
I stayed away from alcohol for the first two cycles, but putting my life on hold without knowing how long this journey is going to take stressed me out even more. So I drink occasionally a glass of wine in the 2WW but stop at 12dpo or so (unless I would test positive of course).
I am seeing friends tomorrow and I just wrote them I have cystitis and shouldn't drink. It sounds bettee than the old antibiotics excuse I think ;)

I think I'm 4dpo today. I'm due to go out for drinks on Saturday so I'll only be 6dpo so too early to test... we haven't told anyone that we are ttc and so far I've been able to avoid social drinking so far but this is month 5 of trying and I don't want to raise suspicion by not drinking for it to end up being another unsuccessful month but also don't want to cause any damage by drinking alcohol if it is a risk. Is it best to Steer clear of the booze completely or just take it steady? Maybe alternate between an alcoholic and soft drink or am I best just make an excuse up to not drink at all and hope I don't get sussed? 🤔 I don't want want to ruin my chances by having a drink so if there is any chance of it being a risk I won't drink at all but unsure if it would make any difference at 6dpo?

@purpleskyssssss Hey, just noticed the point you made about your Luteal phase. I got my BFP (second baby) a couple of weeks ago after having fairly short cycles and short Luteal phases. Been tracking my cycles since December/Jan and this is how they went:
29 days
22 days
22 days
25 days

Just wanted to let you know as your Luteal phase sounds pretty good. They usually say anything in double figures is fine.. mine on my 22 day cycles was as short at 8/9 days. Then I had a slightly longer cycle but can't say how many days Luteal phase was as I'd stopped tracking ovulation.
I actually called my GP about it a couple of months ago as I was feeling a little concerned. He dismissed it as he said there's no medical proof that the Luteal phase has an impact on conceiving.. it's more about the follicular phase which needs to be a decent length so that eggs which are released are mature enough. Just wanted to let you know my experience and to say I really wouldn't worry about LP. It's very early days for me, I'm roughly 5+5 so very early days (🤞🏻) but just wanted to say that it can and does happen xx

I’m CD20 today and still waiting for my peak! Feels like the longest wait ever, my cycles are just weirdly long.

Also reading about drinking etc, I’m quite liberal and in the drink until it’s pink camp. Pretty sure my 1st baby was conceived on holiday when drinking every day and found out I was pregnant after a boozy weekend away. My little girl is perfect 😍 I’m not sure that baby takes from the placenta until 6 weeks plus, correct me if I’m wrong, and these days people seem to find out they’re pregnant about 3-4 weeks in with FRERs!

I'm not really feeling hopeful started getting brown cm when I wipe so I have put a pad on but nothing there, I do tend to have 26 day cycles and spotting the day before so would make sense as 11DPO today, I'm worried my luteal phase is too short if I ovalate on the day I get peak it will only be 12 days but if after even shorter :( if this is the case does anyone know of any vitamins that can lengthen this a little? Google gives too much info on vitamins 😢

Trying to stay hopeful but I just have a feeling it isn't my month, feel extra crappy I think cause this is cycle 6 and I know people try longer but just feel like it's a milestone in ttc.

I said I would chill after the month 6 but already decided I will start temping next month 😫😫

@Twochews78 not going to lie I’m a poas addict.. going to try and hold off until Monday but I will struggle like mad, I’d rather af arrived than getting another negative as silly as that sounds :( I need to stop convincing myself it is going to happen this month and thinking more what will be will be, when are you thinking of testing again xx

@Twochews78 I’m the same, 11dpo I think.. at due Monday! Tested today and also a bfn!! Hopefully this is our month and we’re both just testing too early xx

Hello, hope it’s ok to join as would like to be on a more active thread. I’m on cycle 1 ttc baby no 2. Came off mini pill 3 weeks ago, no idea about cycles but did take OPKs and seemed to get peak on Tuesday so think I’m 1DPO! Had some weird symptoms though like when I fell pregnant with my 1st but in my head I know I can’t be pregnant yet! Told myself I would be chilled about this but already obsessing 🙈

BFN for me, I used a frer and I think I’m 11dpo so o guess it’s still early. My breasts feel like stones though (felt this way during last two pregnancies) and some cramping, feels like af is coming but who knows! It’s due Sunday or Monday I think based on having 24/25 day cycles the last two months. Think I’ll wait until Saturday now to test again! xx
