@ChinChilly Just remembered that your TSH is high - any chance of pushing to get levothyroxine for that now as it could be contributing to the MCs?

@MissM94 I've heard lots of people are having delayed periods because of the jab. Mine was only a few days late but I also had mid cycle bleeding which I never have otherwise.

@kay00 remind me what this crazy walking is for again? Those numbers are insane!! I'd love to have done them with you tbh, I love walking.

Speaking of which - our trip to Scotland got pretty much all planned yesterday and I'm SO EXCITED. One of the first things we're doing is a 19km/7h hike to climb Lochnagar

@snow90 yeahh, I dunno though haha I'm such an over thinker so I'm fully convinced there is something wrong as it wasn't affected at all by the first jab so I'm not too sure about how much I believer it is due to the jab, but obviously if everything is clear then it must be down to that! Haha

@MissM94 Mine went back to normal the following cycle and the 2nd jab didn't affect it at all thankfully. One of my friends also had an affected cycle with her vaccine. I only found out it was likely to be that after some frantic googling, but there definitely seems to be more women now saying their periods have been affected after the jab!

@Moocher90 ahh I see! Yeah definitely get that sorted.. if my scan is clear then I don't know what my next step would be? Maybe gynaecologist or endocrinologist? I've no idea my doctor just said we will discuss the "next step" when I've had my scan so we shall wait and wait and wait a bit more then see 😂

@snow90 don't worry! Thank you for your input, my cycles have been on average 34 days so currently very out of the ordinary haha, how long will it take to go back to normal then if it is the vaccine? 😑 feel like I've already been waiting forever hahaha

@MissM94 my last two cycles I have done progesterone blood tests which have confirmed no haven’t been ovulating despite having internal ultrasound and my right ovary has 3 follicles and one dominant… so I’m now waiting to see gynaecology. I will be ringing GP up though just to make sure it’s written in my notes and that the referral has gone in.

Sorry to jump in but I just wanted to say that my first covid jab made my cycle 75 days long! My cycles usually range from 42 - 56 days but that was far longer than any I've had since coming off the pill and that was the only thing that had changed that month. Fingers crossed it's the same for you, my cycles have been back to normal since

@Moocher90 ahh I see! I don't even know if I've been ovulating while I've had no AF as every time I've had what I think is niggling ovulation pain my OPK's have been a big fat negative 🤷🏼‍♀️

@MissC07 @MissM94 I had the 2nd covid vaccine just over 2 weeks ago. I spotted that fri to sun, had the smallest patch of blood and was due a period which hasn’t come…. I think the injection also messed up this cycle because I’m not pregnant. Shall see now if I ovulate before the next period.

@MissC07 I'm CD91! Yeah if my scans clear tomorrow then I don't know what to think, I was fine after my first vaccine, had 2 AF's since that and then got my 2nd one I was already a couple of days late but I've no idea tbh, just annoying me.. I've not had a single spot of blood since the 4th of April so it's really strange! Hopefully we get some answers soon ey 😅

Morning ladies!

I completed a 24 mile practice walk yesterday and I'm so proud of my body recovering! My feet were a mess, I was limping and had a painful stiff knee last night, but this morning I'm totally fine again. In 3 weeks time I'll be walking 30 miles (50k) two days in a row... and I'm bricking it a little 😬

Randomly FF thinks I ovulated on CD14, but I'm pretty sure I haven't 🤷‍♀️ im sure something like this happens every single cycle for me!

@TheDaydreamBelievers @Moocher90 I feel your pain! I was referred to the gynae/ fertility in May and still haven’t heard anything and the gp said there was a six month wait. I’m on month 15 now so very frustrated as we all are. Xxx

@kay00 I had a blood draw at supposed 7DPO which was when thought I had ovulated as had a few high temps but then they dropped. But my bloods suggested that I didn’t ovulate though

Had my blood test, apparently everything is normal but still no AF.. effing sick of it now 😩 what the actual eff is going on with my body?! Got my scan on Tuesday so I can't wait for that to be "normal" too and I'm just sat here wondering why I've no period and what to do about it? Ahhhh the NHS and moody receptionists 🥰😍🥰😍

@Moocher90 hmm, that is all quite odd. Are you sure you ovulated previously? Do you have a chart to share?

I’ve been having ewcm the last few days but I technically didn’t have a proper period this cycle…. I had a few days of spotting last weekend and Monday and literally 1 drop of blood and my OPKs are getting dark again not positive my any stretch by my temp crazy dipped today 35.94 which is low for me…

Not sure whether the covid vaccine caused havoc with my cycle last month as last few cycles I’ve been relatively regular…maybe I am just having an extremely long cycle and might ovulate again before AF….

@Kay00 hopefully the scans can clear that up... whenever I get to the top of that waitlist!

@TheDaydreamBelievers Its possible you have PCOS too given your long random cycles. Apparently 1/10 women has it! If you do then it can make loosing weight quite difficult (I think because of the IR, up to 80% of women with PCOS have IR!). Its definitely worth checking out, as overweight or not it could have implications for your future health xx

I hear you both @Juno231 @Kay00 - Im overweight and need to lose weight as I bet its the first thing the fertility clinics will say!

@TheDaydreamBelievers That chart looks all too familiar. I would imagine when you do finally see someone at the fertility clinic they will assume you are not ovulating, and will prescribe you something to kickstart ovulation xx

@Juno231 I just seem to put weight on so easily! It took a chronic stomach condition, lots of pain, and several weeks of strong laxatives for me to loose that 6lb! And a few weeks of eating normally and I'm back to square one. I don't even eat that badly, hardly any bread/pasta/potato, lots of fruit and veg, grains and pulses. My downfall is probably sugary treats though .

I have been learning a lot about PCOS and the relationship with Insulin Resistance. I am lean PCOS, but could still be IR or even diabetic! (although its less likely than if I was overweight), and I do urinate frequently (esp. at night) and have a podgy belly (despite being slim elsewhere) which are both signs of IR. Other signs include sugar cravings and being hungry all the time... which are both big parts of my daily life. I have a call with a GP on Monday to ask for some tests for IR. Hopefully i'm not, but it might explain a few things.

@Kay00 gah tell me about it. I have zero discipline to lose weight atm, even though I gave myself 6 months to lose a stone - well the 6 months are up in 3 weeks and I've lost maybe 3lbs!

@Kay00 I dont reckon i have ovulated, which is why I count myself as particularly nutso today. Temps are too low for a pregnancy anyways
