Static smileys on CD12 and CD29, but no temp rise (now on CD36). I am getting a full panel of blood tests done at my GPs on Thursday so let's hope that provides some answers. They obviously won't be day 2 readings, but at least they should tell me something. The doctor said we could re-do them at different points in my cycle so that's helpful.

Feel a bit more relaxed now. Every time I do something proactive, it makes me feel like I'm not just standing still.

My partner is also very supportive. He has kids already and while he's very happy to have more children, I know he's happy not to have any more. It sort of removes the pressure a bit. I'd be crushed if it didn't happen, but I know I'd have a good life regardless. My mind is quite possibly going into protective mode or something but I think I prefer that to my crazy feeling sorry for myself days!

Thanks guys, good to know you’re seeing what I’m seeing. I’m okay with anovulatory as the previous two I have ovulated and I’m hoping the conceive plus is making a difference and made my body reset a bit. I know that anovulatory can happen, so fingers crossed next month is better!

@SkeletonSkins I agree, this one looks annovulatory to me too. Hopefully a fresh cycle with the Conceive Plus will produce a nice strong ovulation with a decent temp increase x

@SkeletonSkins I'm sorry the witch arrived! I do think it was annovulatory based on the temps and honestly I doubt you took the temps so badly so often so as to completely miss a change in patterns. Here's to hoping your next cycle is shorter and features an egg!

Right guys I’ve no idea what’s going on, AF has arrived. Natural cycles now thinks I ovulated day 34 but I’m not remotely convinced looking at that temp rise. FF think anovulatory. I didn’t do OPKs so I guess we’ll never know. It’s possible I’ve been shit doing temps consistently, I’ve got up for a wee a couple of times and asssumed it would be fine. I’m going to switch to vaginal temping and see if I spot a difference. It’s also possible it was anovulatory and then taking the concieve plus as made my body reset and start again. Anyway regardless it’s CD 1 of our first proper cycle TTC so I’m seeing it as a positive.

@Sunshinedaisybuttermellow @kay00 thank you! I made OH put some cream on yday and will pick up an oral tablet of canesten for him just in case. I got prescribed a week's worth of fluconazole but you can't take it when TTC so I'm tempted to use it next time CD1 rolls around...

Haha thanks all for the sympathy, @Kat668 it was somehow wrapped up in the duvet?? No idea how that even happened as I always put it back in tbe same place. Anyway what will be will be.

@SkeletonSkins I'm so sorry your body is being so confusing right now! I'm pretty sure I started the C+ tablets mid-cycle, but I can't be certain when (in the cycle) now.

Hopefully just a little mid-month spotting (I used to get is a lot, and I still get it sometimes now), try not to stress and maybe continue to assume you are 2DPO.

PS. we have all lost the thermometer on a vitally important day at some point - its super annoying!

Hi all. A lot of you won't know me but I made a brief appearance on the original thread and I've been quietly lurking ever since! For all those that don't know, my situation is a bit different as me and OH know we need IVF (male factor) and actually have our first appointment on 22 June! I've now been off the pill for just over a year and I think my cycles are starting to regulate, but I've been through lots of similar issues over that year (long cycles, no ovulation, short luteal phase, awful skin)....

@Juno231 I'm not sure if you already know, but persisent or multiple thrush infections can be a sign of diabetes (it's to do with sugar levels). Grossly, I know this because that's how my Dad found out he was diabetic....!

I had my first smashing smiley this morning!!! Ahhh! I was so excited I literally jumped DH and we squeezed in DTD before work 😂 I was really upset by it all last night as the app said today should be my peak and with getting nothing yesterday it got a bit too much, but then this morning super happy so what an rollercoaster of emotions! Ha

Oh and we’ve got more spotting this morning… no idea what’s going on. Maybe I’ve confused my body a bit starting those concieve plus tablets mid cycle? Tbh I don’t mind so much if AF turns up and this cycle is anovulatory, I mean I do mind but maybe the concieve plus is acting as a bit of a reset and the next cycle will be more straightforward. I sense that might be wishful thinking though. I know you can get spotting on tbe day of ovulation but if I ovulated when I think I might I’d now be 2DPO. God I hate the pill and I hate PCOS!

Ah so frustrating, woke up, couldn’t find my thermometer anywhere. Literally always leave it in the same place and it just wasn’t there. Had to get out of bed and look for it and eventually found it but then by the time I took my temp who knows if it was even vaguely accurate, little bit of a dip too which seems to happen quite often for me a couple of days after ovulation so doesn’t rule out ovulation especially as the temp wasn’t as soon as I woke up 🙄 but means yet again I’m waiting until tomorrow to see if I’ve ovulated or not. I thought I had but now I’m not so sure :(

I've been quiet for a few days, very little to report tbh. Because I'm not temping I have no idea where I'm up to. If I ovulated when my cm would suggest I'm possibly around 9dpo, but of course may not have ovulated at all. Technically my period would be due some point next week. If it doesn't come do I test or just wait?
I seem to have quite a bit of watery cm today, not sure if it's normal or not.

@MissM94 have you ovulated this cycle? How many dpo are you?

@Juno231 oh thrush is awful, hope it clears up soon. For men they can use canesten (clotrimazole) cream externally. If that doesn't work, a single dose of 150mg fluconazole orally should cover it, same dose as for females.

@kay00 hope OH gets the results soon and it's all positive. If they are do you know how long it would be until you were given the clomid?

@Juno231 @SkeletonSkins haha, I made my OH put some of the external cream on his bits last time... and to be fair it hasn't come back (yet!). I can't recommend it, as men's bits are pretty sensitive, but it might have been the thing that worked for us

Also... I wish it was as simple as take Clomid = Get pregnant. Maybe it will be. I feel like these Concieve Plus tablets are helping to regulate my ovulation, but that doesn't mean I'm producing strong/healthy eggs... Maybe Clomid would help with this?

@Skeleton Aparently the dr. at the clinic told OH when he would get his results and how, but he wasn't listening properly...

@kay00 come on swimmers! would be so good if you could just get prescribed clomid and finally get that bfp. Re: thrush - I'm just concerned that I've had three of the canesten pessaries since Feb and one just last TWW so only 2-3 weeks ago? In Nov 2019 I think I had two rounds of fluconazole as well so there's clearly something resistant down there lol.

@MissM94 I have a history of chronic utis but luckily they have stopped! I don't use any soap down there and for the rest of my body it's Sanex so should be quite mild.

@SkeletonSkins yeah I wouldn't be surprised if OH and I are passing it back and forth to each other but everything online only mentions how to treat it as a woman and nothing about men? Not v helpful. Spotting and temp rise sounds promising btw!

Thanks @Juno231 hopefully that temp is accurate then and I’ll see more of a rise tomorrow. Interestingly had a bit of spotting this morning so maybe that’s linked to potential ovulation yesterday or maybe my body is just odd.

Sorry to hear about the thrush, nothing worse. Fingers crossed the GP can help and get rid ASAP. Possibly TMI but I did read that men can carry the bacteria on their bits, and so sometimes that’s why we can get it several times. Not sure how you stop that though.

@MissM94 hope you get some answers, you can get post-pill PCOS I think which might be worth looking into. You can also have PCOS without cysts I think. I have PCOS but I’ve had it since day one as my cycles have always been mad. I was fine on the pill but my symptoms have been more intense sense coming off.

@Kay00 everything crossed for the SA, do you know how long you have to wait to get the results?

@Juno231 oh no not what you need right before your FW! I get Thrush fairly frequently too, seems to happen after I finish my period (annoyingly). I don't have any advice other than using Canesten duo.

OH submitted his Sperm Sample this morning. I reeeeaaaallly hope his sperm results are within range, as if they are then the consultant said she would prescribe me clomid. Plus can impact what treatments are available to us in the future. Come on little swimmers!!

In terms of your thrush, what shower/bath stuff do you use? I can use everything in the world apart from Avon bubble bath 😂 it brought me a horrendous bout of thrush in 2013, I could of used a cheese grater to itch it it was that bad! But I haven't used it since and haven't had a single bit of thrush! My forte is water infections 😅

@SkeletonSkins poor sleep has never affected my temps so I'm not sure. Later temps are higher and earlier ones are lower, so I would guess interrupted sleep would be lower?

@MissM94 I'm glad they're finally doing some tests though! Hopefully you'll know one way or the other. Make sure to get the results though and not just trust their "fine" as lots of GPs seem to have no idea what they're looking for.

Well I have thrush again! Third time since Feb and it's doing my head in. Think I need to call the GP this afternoon to see what can be done.

Hello! Still no AF for me, Cycle day 64, doctor requested to see me after 2 weeks so got an app for Wednesday where I presume (hope) she'll do a blood test, she's confident that because my 2014 scan was clear that there wouldn't be anything there now but that's not enough for me haha feeling very meh and just hope nothings wrong, I really am starting to think it is PCOS though as I'm finding myself symptom spotting 😅 oh to spend a day with a different brain!

I’ve had an increase this morning but not 100% trusting I’ve ovulated as I didn’t sleep great so my temp might have been affected (does anyone know, does poor sleep increase or decrease your temp? Just out of interest). So will wait and see what it says tomorrow.

@Lovebug06 and @Juno231 thank you both. I had another blank OPK this morning so I think it must not be, oh well! Knowing my luck the peak will end up being over the weekend when I have a friend staying over! Our bed is not the quietest ha ha!

@Kat668 I'd instinctively say it's unlikely as ewcm is linked to oestrogen which is what the CB tests for - but our bodies do like to mess with us so goodness knows!

Thanks for your replies. Sorry I've not tagged. I think the alternative to pre seed is conceive plus or soemthing like that. I need a new tube does it matter which or does anyone know which is better?

At the extremely boring stage of 5dpo. Although I'm fairly dubious about this as my opks were weird so could be slightly out.
