Awww @kaylsd not long until your appointment! Your body can take its sweet ass time until then and then it's getting whipped into shape pronto. I'm back in hosp tomorrow for an update, feel like I'm just not getting out of the woods. It's only been a week but it's been the longest week ever, just want it to be over. Xx

Bookbug92 · 17/06/2021 21:00

@kaylsd 17 days off sounds amazing! 🤩 even if the weather is a bit miserable, some time away from work is always a winner 👍🏻 have a nice relaxing few days in the caravan with the pooch 😊

Update from me as I haven't posted for a little while, following my surprise AF I contacted the hycosy clinic and they couldn't guarantee when I would be able to make another appointment so I'm currently on Provera to try and stimulate another AF so that I can keep my appointment on the 25th. I wasn't very happy at the idea of taking hormones now my body might finally be regulating itself but I desperately wanted to keep my appointment!

Hope everyone else is doing well 😊

kaylsd · 17/06/2021 20:49

@Aries491 I'm doing okay thank you! Been such a busy last day at work and now I'm off for 17 days wahooo!! It's the first time I've had any time off since November last year for my covid wedding then the back end of November ended up getting covid 🙈 I’ll keep you guys posted on the appointment next month :) I’m looking forward to it!

@CycloGoose the day off was lovely! Had chicken salad again for tea tonight but diet id going to have a week off once again just because I've got too much nice food things planned with family and friends I can't be doing with salad 🙈 I only have 5 more pound to loose then I'm at my target of a healthy bmi! .6 of a range to shift! Managed to have a lovely colour in terms of tan, just a shame now it’s going to be miserable for me going to the caravan for 5 days with the pooch on Monday! Have you had your private scan yet? If so I hope everything went well for you 🤞🏻❤️

@minthumbugs nothing to report for me sweetheart I’m in the long cycle club again, I hope your having a quick and speedy recovery, we are here for you if you need anything 🥺💖

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdrxws7H/ just stumbled across this on TikTok, just what the heck 🤣🤣🤣

CycloGoose · 16/06/2021 21:24

I didn't get any updates! Thought thread had gone quiet. To be fair I've been super manic at work.

@kaylsd how was chicken salad and day off? Heavens have opened here today. Glad you got some time in the sun. I'm so glad some positive stories for you to read and hopefully you'll be writing your own soon enough.

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange scan sounds amazing!! Love that!

@aries491 good luck for TWW!

Lots of love and baby dust xxx

Thank you for all the kind messages, I've been staying away so don't know where you're all at! But I'm wishing for good luck for all of you xxx

Aries491 · 16/06/2021 09:12

It is nice to hear the positive stories isn't it :-) @kaylsd fingers crossed you get given good options at your appointment next month though, whichever it is will be a good step forward for you on your journey I'm sure 😀
Oh very nice! I wouldn't class that as a bad day haha :) I've been on edge about the thunderstorms my weather app still keeps predicting so no more bbqs in the meantime.

How are you and everyone else doing today? I am currently 4 or 5 DPO nothing much to report, felt a bit nauseous when brushing teeth this morning and yesterday evening had some AF style cramps but less painful if that makes sense. Trying to ignore anything as I know realistically it is too early for much to be happening.

kaylsd · 15/06/2021 19:09

@Aries491 I absolutely love hearing stories like that so thank you :') I was on about PCOS the other day with the work girls and two of them
both have it and both got given clomid and successful with their children from the miracles of it :') I'm hoping it's an option for me and hun if his SA improves on the next repeat rather than going straight to ICSI (I'm only going off my friend who was similar boat to us got referral in and didn't even give the option of clomid secondary to her hubs SA being so poor so they just got her funding for ICSI) which then resulted in her beautiful 9 month old ❤️ ended up going for a bbq tonight but not drank and not had any carbs just the meaty good stuff so I'll consider it not a slip up today 🤣🤣

Aries491 · 15/06/2021 13:16

Lovely weather isn't it, haha I know what you mean my legs are like milk bottles!! :) enjoy some time in the sun lovely! 🌞

Ah i see sorry to hear that but it is good news you have an appointment next month and fingers crossed that goes well for you :) relaxing sounds like a good option in the meantime, less stress on yourself and your other half.
Putting a positive swing on that my mum had PCOS and had 3 cycles on clomid before falling pregnant with me and then my sister was a bit of a surprise I think so there is definitely hope for your BFP I'm sure of it 😘😘

kaylsd · 15/06/2021 12:56

@Aries491
I spoke early the sun has come out over here so I've just switched outfits from jeans to a dress to try get my white bits sorted out 🤣 I hope your TWW continues to go smooth for you darling will look forward to hearing your days as they past 🤞🏻

I'm abit of a stand still if I'm honest darling, I have my fertility appointment first one next month after having a diagnosis of PCOS where I spontaneously ovulate, at the moment I'm on cd 42 with no signs of that egg coming out for a hunt 🙈 I'm taking a step back in tracking ect until we are on treatment path for our potential bubba to be as I'll be wasting my money quite litterally weeing it away 🙊 so I've been enjoying a relaxed life with it the last two month :)

Aries491 · 15/06/2021 09:29

Hi @kaylsd ha agreed I am all about the bbq life with some drinks once the sun is out :) meant to be going out this weekend too so will try to take it easy again alcohol wise not food wise lol! I do love my food :)

It's going alright, currently around 3dpo based on static smiley on 11th so very early in the wait, not noticed much new apart from hungry a lot but halfway through my tea last night I just went off it lol! How is your journey lovely? Xxx

kaylsd · 15/06/2021 09:15

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange fabulous news with how you got on with your scans and things hunny! Get baby dancing and even maybe try leave your legs in the air but on a right side tilt to make sure it's going right way 🤣🤣🤣🤣 imagine if we could have monthly USS! It could be useful for those with regular cycles for sure! When will you get your blood test results back have they said? It's abit annoying with the SA but least your getting the full benefit and you never know he might not need to go and end up with BFP.. we can hope for you anyway 🥰👋

kaylsd · 15/06/2021 09:13

@Aries491 I think it's the weather once we see a little bit of sun all the vibes come out for BBQ life, glass of wine in the sun and just every efforts to eat better just don't come to light because good food takes priority or it does me 🤣🙈🙈🙈 how are you getting on with your TTC journey :)?

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 14/06/2021 20:19

Went to have my scans and blood tests today and they said it all looks good - such a relief. They also said I’m about to ovulate and told me to go straight home ana BD for the next few days 😬 Having to cancel DPs sperm analysis as he won’t have done the 3 days no sex by Wednesday, but it’s so great having someone actually LOOK and see exactly when I need to BD! They even told me it’s the right ovary that’s providing the egg this month 😂 I wonder if they are expecting us to aim to the right?? 😂😂 Imagine you could just have a monthly scan around ovulation time - would be so much less faff in some ways!! Can’t wait for the days I never have to POAS again!

@Aries491 fingers crossed for you and your TWW!

@kaylsd glad you have a day off! Sorry the weather is rubbish! It’s scorching down here, not letting up for a few days yet. Think it’ll rain by the weekend though, typical indeed!

Aries491 · 14/06/2021 19:52

@kaylsd fingers crossed! Gonna aim not to symptom spot but easier said than done. Haha no just the unusual hunger I seem to have, I'm sure the pie shop are fine :)
Ah finally hope you enjoy your day off! I know what you mean about the eating tho lol we also had a bbq and ended up at the local ice cream shop last night and a couple of proseccos! Chicken salad sounds nice, it is salad weather at least haha xx

kaylsd · 14/06/2021 18:06

@Aries491
Wooop here's to a relaxing TWW hoping for you to have a positive at the end of it 🤞🏻🥰 I'm unsure if the pie shop link has anything sinister but you never know :) I know what you mean with the crazy week, just had a rough 5 days at work over the weekend and before got a day off finally tomorrow! Back on the healthy grind for the fertility appointment had a slip last week eating out for tea twice and BBQ galore in the sun... so chicken salad it is for tea today 😋
Hope your okay too! Xxx

kaylsd · 14/06/2021 17:55

@Mousey3 yes darling when I track OPKs I test twice daily until peak and then a couple days to make sure they go negative :) I do recommend the BBT along side of the OPKs as it is a second way to confirm that ovulation as happened as you'll be able to see a clear dip then rise :) it's always something to check in the future for you if you feel like OPK is not working enough for you, they don't work for me at the moment but that's fine I'll be on them when it matters in a little while :)

I'm on a day off tomorrow after 5 in a row wahoooo! And it's predicted to rain.. typical 🤣🙈

kaylsd · 14/06/2021 17:52

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange just was about to write the same darling, it auto corrects the fertile time based on pos OPK the chart will change, it makes me laugh when it tries to predict my fertile week with my wonky cycles I get prompt notifications to add my periods when I don't have them and record OPKs 🙈

Aries491 · 14/06/2021 17:26

Hi everyone! Checking in as I've been pretty absent, works been manic and I've been seeing a lot of family. How are you all doing?

I was so sorry to read your news @minthumbugs sending so much love and this community is here for whenever you need it ❤

I had a strange one last week, first month using opks and I got a static smiley on 11th (3sh days after flo app!) So made a point of DTD all weekend lol which would make me around 2-3 dpo i imagine. Nothing much to report today other than ravenous I could eat everything, nearly stopped working to go to the local pie shop after wolfing down dinner! Weird!!! Xx

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 14/06/2021 15:24

Thanks!

justwant2beamum · 13/06/2021 20:59

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange my Premom did that this month it's based on when you've ovulated before. Keep testing and scanning once you get a peak/high LH it will adjust

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 13/06/2021 20:01

@kaylsd and @Mousey3 and anyone else who might know: I’m having some trouble with easy@home. I’ve used it since about January and this month it’s really confusing me... my OPKs are showing that I haven’t ovulated yet but the graph is ignoring the opk sticks and is showing an entirely fictitious ovulation cycle. I’ll upload the pics - does anyone know why this is happening?? It’s making me wonder if it’s worth bothering with the app at all if it’s just going to ignore the data! But maybe I’m looking at the wrong thing or have done something wrong... any advice appreciated!

Mousey3 · 13/06/2021 19:42

Thanks @kaylsd...I was almost certain it was never gonna happen in the first month anyway so totally expected AF to arrive 🙂 ah glad to hear that’s another vote for easy@home. Do you test twice daily? I’m thinking I might for the first month at least just to see where I’m at generally. Yes I’ve downloaded the app as well so we’ll see how I get on.

Not really planning on doing much different this cycle. I’ve looked into BBT but thinking I’ll hold off that for now as it does seem like a little extra effort! I’m not a big drinker and I’m healthy-ish so if I have a few unsuccessful months then I might look at approaching differently.

Yes I know I was so prepared for a hot day! At least the sun’s come out a bit more this evening. Better late than never!

kaylsd · 13/06/2021 17:07

@Mousey3 just keeping it going my darling lovely to see you check in! Im sorry that your first cycle ended up in BFN let's hope for better things this month! I honestly felt like a weight was lifted when I saw the positives on OPK as I knew I would be either BFP or period which is a rare thing for me, I also use the easy@home ones so they are pretty good! Do you have the premom app on your phone to take photos of the tests so it gives you a number reading and a chart comparison? Are you planning on doing anything differently this cycle :)? I hope you've had a lovely weekend in the sun! Been abit of an overcast day today to say it was meant to be 27 degrees 😳

kaylsd · 13/06/2021 17:04

@CycloGoose I've worked this weekend yes darlings just wrapping it up now doing my documentation on the laptop in the garden, and the sun goes in! It's been a horrible weekend, we've been so busy with people who's been poorly and just can't stretch ourself between the areas enough! Going to highlight it to management tomorrow how hard it's been 😩 I'm presuming when hub comes to the first fertility appointment it'll be the first thing they'll request on his side of things? Otherwise GP said to contact in august for repeat as it'll be 3 month from the last one, he's absolutely loving the proxceed which I find so strange as I had to force him to remember the other ones last time 🙈 I'm always a true believer I don't know if it's the soft touch in me that there is always someone far off worse than me, I know it's not the route I would have performed and I know the journey ahead is abit Rocky but I know I've got some lovely people around me to help me get through whatever the best I can and they'll be more reasons to be strong and positive than not in my eyes ❤️ happy 5 weeks lovely lady, we will be looking forward to seeing your scan next week 🥺🤞🏻💖

Mousey3 · 13/06/2021 15:36

Hi @kaylsd...happy weekend and thanks for checking in on us all. My ttc cycle #1 ended in a BFN so now on CD2 of month #2. Actually quite nice to not be tracking with OPKs or being in the tww so I’m enjoying these few days of AF which is something I never thought I’d say. Got myself some of the easy@home OPKs so I’ll give those a whirl this time round.

Glad to hear your hubby is happy with the new tablets and I’m jealous of your upcoming caravan holiday with the pooch.

@CycloGoose, 5 weeks that’s so exciting. Hope you’re not having any uncomfortable symptoms ✨✨
