Just popping in to see how you're all doing!

Been speaking to @CycloGoose lots but wanted to pop in and say hello.

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow but haven't had the most simple pregnancy for sure. Super grateful for my baby girl though. She's coming early because she is small (below the 3rd) so will be here in 4-5 weeks 😳😳

@Slinks8113

Hi lovely ladies, hope you don’t mind if I rejoin! I was part of this group a few months ago and then stopped messaging as it was all getting a bit much for me and a lot going on at home. However I need some advice so I’m crawling back lol. I’m on day 31 with no period and no positive pregnancy test - technically 2 days late! I’ve taken two tests, both in the afternoon as haven’t been able to wait long enough after buying one! Although today i set a timer for 4 hours to ensure it was concentrated enough. I had some extremely light pink spotting on Thursday of last week and then absolutely nothing since. Am I just having a shitty cycle and need to wait it out? I don’t know if I ovulated this month as also stopped using opks/temping but I’m usually fairly regular. I had covid vaccine and covid in the same month (cycle before) and then had a period a day later than expected. Wondering if a delayed reaction to that? Help!
Hey there lovely lady! Nice to hear from you, chances are you may have had an wonky cycle which are my special skill where you could have had an delayed ovulation from the vaccines, there's research now into how much the jabs have affected cycles because so many women have had period issues from it but they are just reporting it as an immune response to the virus has cause it, than the actual jab! I hope you get your BFP soon or AF to restart the cycle again, keep an eye on it though as if you miss 3 in a row cycles your GP can prescribe medication to shed your linking so it doesn't build up too thick from not having AF but hopefully it won't come to that 🤞🏻
Slinks8113 · 28/09/2021 16:48

Thanks @CycloGoose and congrats on your news too :) I was really hopeful this might be the month but after 2 negative tests, I think I’m out! Body is a little jokester!! X

CycloGoose · 28/09/2021 16:42

Hi @Slinks8113 nice to hear from you. It's a bit quiet on here now!

When I had my vaccine, it did delay my ovulation by 2 weeks so it could be that for sure. Also sometimes just have an off cycle. It doesn't mean you're out but it's super likely you ovulated later in your cycle and will either get a BFP or AF in a few days lovely.
Big love to you and really glad to hear from you and hope life improving xxx

Bookbug92 · 01/09/2021 20:42

@kaylsd yay!! 🥳 I don't think these boards have ever had anyone so happy to hear AF arrived 😅 so pleased you're on to a new cycle, do you temp or anything to monitor for ovulation?

kaylsd · 30/08/2021 15:34

I'm fine as far as I know my lovely. It's not been too enjoyable yet but I can't complain! 16 weeks now which is about as long as your last cycle which shows how shit that's just been for you! I really hope this signals a change for you xxxx

Hope you ladies are okay! *@kaylsd* any joy? Sounds like October can't come soon enough! We've been away travelling to visit family and friends around the country. Absolutely exhausted and not looking forward to going back to work. Miss my Mumsnet family xxx
Hey there lovely lady! We are never too far away don't you be worrying, how are you and the little growing bubba?

Funnily enough you say I've just done a massive fist pump in the air!!! I AM ON MY PERIOD it's just started bright red when I wipe and old blood at the moment but I am so happy it's been 117 days since my last flow 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I'm hoping it's the start of a new cycle and a new chance hopefully for maybe ovulation at some point

@Bookbug92 I asked this but they wanted to see if I can have metformin to regulate without using that first hand to shed my lining but they said they will provide it in next appointment in October if nothings happened by then and will know going forward I'll need to be using that as a treatment plan before things like ovulation induction, I've officially gone over my longest cycle day record I'm in triple numbers of 101 oh my Christ 🤣🤣🤣

Any signs of anything happening yet for you sweetpea?

AfroFinnRainbow2021 · 12/08/2021 10:23

@Bookbug92 hopefully everything turns out fine soon. Did the spotting stop? I wish you the very very best and bfp really really soon. I got mine 24months after getting married so dont lose hope.

Bookbug92 · 11/08/2021 21:08

@kaylsd did they not want to give you Provera to stimulate a bleed so that you can start afresh? Though I suppose that would be tricking your body into doing it and it would be much more ideal if your body did it naturally - I don't know how you're so patient, you're amazing!

I'm 10dpo and had really good signs, my temp is nice and high, sore boobs, sore back and I got home from work and I've had quite heavy spotting on wiping. The hardest thing was telling dp as I think I'm out this month now and he was so disappointed bless him. Just feel like we're trying everything and nothing is working. Hey ho, rant over! 😔

kaylsd · 11/08/2021 20:30

@Bookbug92

Amazing news *@AfroFinnRainbow2021*! Congrats! That's really interesting about people getting their bfp's after stopping clomid, I hadn't heard about that.

Nothing much to report here, I'm currently in my tww, had bloods yesterday and my progesterone level confirms ovulation but just don't have a good feeling about this month 🙁 maybe it's because I'm at the 18 month trying mark.

@Bookbug92 how are you getting in terms of the support front? Fingers and toes crossed that this is your month sweetpea I can only imagine how your feeling right now 🥺❤️
kaylsd · 11/08/2021 20:13

@AfroFinnRainbow2021

Hi *@kaylsd* thanks for checking in. I decided to stop clomid and go all natural for July cycle. And I got my bfp same cycle. Now 6 weeks pregnant. I have read of lot of women who got bfp same cycle stopping clomid apparently that worked for me too.
Bloody auto correct clomid! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's cause I was talking about metformin to hun :')
kaylsd · 11/08/2021 20:13

@AfroFinnRainbow2021 how amazing is that! I've not really heard of when people stop metformin this happens but absolutely amazing news congratulations I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 month ahead of you 🥺❤️❤️
