@MammaJ21 I think you should do a test. I only dtd 2 days before ovulation and I had a positive OPK and now I'm pregnant!

Yeah very confusing - I read ovulation tests can pick up other hormonal peaks which is why they say not to use them after your peak I think. No idea how true that is.

I'm CD26 due AF tomorrow or Sunday and definitely feel like she's on her way!

@KayL1988. Sorry just seen this. No I haven't...as it would be so, so unlikely. Only dtd once a couple of days before what may have been the peak! (but wasn't obvious) I feel AF is coming now...but it is confusing to get a high just before AF. Obviously your mind does wonder but honestly would be a miracle haha! Pretty sure AF will appear very soon! 😩

@Veronika13 there are definitely down sides to this, I have short cycles and am almost constantly in a TWW, and the stress of never knowing if my eggs are mature enough 😳. But I am glad for the extra opportunities!

Sorry was writing that whilst making a brew and clearly too distracted. Just wondering if you had yet - since it would be so strange for your LH to peak and then be high at end of your cycle.

Morning all. AF due today...based on last cycle after MC which was 29 days. but it seems after both MCs my cycles of got back to 'normal' so fully expecting her today/tomorrow or v soon as have some cramping.

just did another opk out of curiosity after last night's positive one...it's not quite as dark but still pretty dark. I'm assuming it's just due to AF imminent arrival and not my true peak as it's so late?!(plus some cramps) if it is/was peak then we didn't BD so wondering if we should tonight just incase....

I've attached my opk again. I didn't realise it was a thing to get a peak before AF comes.

Wish I could just know if I did actually ov earlier in my cycle and missed the peak or not!

Thanks ladies. I'm now quite desperate for AF, so I've tempted fate by packing 2 white sundresses for the weekend as well as grabbing husband for a bit of the old BD in the hopes he'll dislodge the old bat 😂

@minthumbugs the chances are so so slim of it being anything else...so must be af on her way. I only carried on testing with opks because I hadn't seen a peak yet...but odd how it's the day before AF due. must just be linked to that.

@Rinylou argh so sorry! I get SO annoyed with my body when AF is late or I have a symptom and it turns out to be nothing fingers crossed AF shows up soon and you can go again

I couldn't help but grab a 6 day early Clearblue when I went out after work. Double pack so saved one for tomorrow (will of course pretend to husband that its the one we've always had in the house haha) but can't even pretend that I can see anything on the one I've now taken! Not even a squinter. And I'm 16dpo! Photo attached to show you just how bloody stark white BFN I am talking here!

It also occurred to me that if pregnancy was the reason I feel so rough and nauseated yesterday and today, then my hCG would 100% be high enough to be detected by any crappy test. I'm definitely feeling shit for an unrelated reason and should probably believe the probably 10 tests I've taken now that I am not pregnant 🙃

Hmm so I finally got my 'peak' on an opk...the day before AF would be due.(cd 28)... so confussing. Recap to save scrolling back...I didn't get a proper peak as dark as control line mid cycle...but fairly dark...so maybe I just didn't ovulate...or maybe I missed it.Anywwy, if that potentially was it, we only dtd a couple of days before and that's the only time around that time if it was the fertile window (but doubt it was)
So maybe I haven't ov this month and am going to bow? very rare for me...usually cycles are roughly same length give or take a day or two.

@Mousey3 I was taking the pregnacare ones but I’ve switched to conceive plus which I prefer as they don’t taste like marmite. Will let you know what they do to my (normally 28 day) cycle - I’m on day 26 now and I’m guessing they’ll push it back to at least 30, though I’ve heard of supplements in general making people have 60+ day cycles while the body adjusts. Has anyone had experience with supplements changing your cycle length? If so how long did it last?

It's maddening isn't it @lilrosemarie. I wish we could jut unzip ourselves and have a peek, see what's going on in there.

@Veronika13 sounds like the tww is as challenging as I thought. I don’t have any pregnancy tests in the house but definitely know that I won’t be able to hold off testing until AF is due.

@Rinylou ok that’s interesting to know. Wonder if I’ll end up with a longer cycle this time round with me ovulating later than usual (at least I think).

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange I’ve been looking into short LP’s recently as I think mine is on the shorter side. What brand supplements are you taking? I’m taking seven seas but not sure if they’re good or not.

Still not the speckiest speck of blood here - short of the fact I just blew my nose and out shot a huge clump of really blood stained mucus?? My body is actually taking the right piss this week.

4.5 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my son, I was in London for work, living in my work's flat they kept there for commuting staff. My husband and I are taking our son on his first proper trip to London (I think he thinks he will see the London Eye from our AirBnB window and get to meet the Queen? I may have to do some imagination limitation here). Keep thinking how funny it would be to get my next BFP in London too......... sigh.

I'm currently on CD27, I think I ovulated on CD17. Yesterday afternoon I had some lotiony and pink tinged cm (barely noticeable) and today I'm noticing a more sticky cm that also has little red spots. 😬 Never had that before my period, it usually starts with light pink or brown bleeding. I'm expecting it in 3-4 days, though, not much sooner.

I had a bit of cramping yesterday and I had it today before I noticed the cm. I also have tender-ish boobs and a backache. It could all be PMS as well, I won't get too excited. But I'm also hoping this is it maybe? We're on our 6th month trying, not too long, but it would be lovely to be pregnant!

When should I start testing? I'm thinking Sunday if AF doesn't show up!

@MammaJ21 I took a OPK the other day at at 12dpo and it was very faint - I hear them being positive just before AF due is a good sign...

My update is........ no update! No AF (unHEARD of by noon on day due), still feeling generally crappy. Went to the village shop to grab something for lunch and they had a weird cheapy pink dye brand test I've never heard of. Grabbed it like a drug dealer, smuggled it home and POAS like a FOOL. Because I've felt so ropey I have been drinking pints and pints of water all morning and my wee is basically transparent I'm so hydrated! Obviously another BFN. So we continue to wait and obsess!
