So sorry about the BFN @Veronika13, it's really emotional and as everyone has said sometimes some months just hit you a lot harder than others. I hope you're ok. X

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange getting your fertility checks is a big step so it's only natural to feel emotional about that. That's annoying about being forced into a month off but as you say it might be a big help! A month to DTD just for the fun of it can't harm your relationship Wink and gives you a little bit of time to reset. And you never know, stranger things have happened and you could ovulate slightly earlier or later than normal anyway and get a wee surprise!

@kaylsd every three years?! I did not expect that. Shows how much work goes into being a nurse and shows how high the standards are doesn't it. I have to say I have only ever encountered maybe one or two nurses who weren't absolute angels. CD35, not the longest yet there's still plenty time for you ;) have you ovulated do you think? Or are you just chilling out waiting for the fertility fairies to tell you what's happening in July? I'm visiting family just now for a wee break, it's been brill to be away from home for the first time and just be out of normal routine! X

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 08/06/2021 18:26

@kaylsd yep that’s it - amh and ultrasound I think. Will keep you posted! We have a joint appointment on 25.6 (nearly 2 weeks after!) to discuss results so I think they’ll keep me waiting until then... thanks for the good luck @CycloGoose! Right back at you too - Let us know how the 6 week scan goes!

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 17:38
@Veronika13 big hugs hun. Don't be afraid to cry it all out. Perfectly normal and natural. We all have good days and bad days. Cycle after my early miscarriage was hardest I think.

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange fingers crossed for Monday chick. Hope it's all straightforward and you get some answers 😘

@kaylsd I think you tagged me in a different thread about twins. Is this meant to be some kind of sign? 🤣 I've booked a scan for 6 weeks as I'm a ball of anxiety.

So far so good though my allergies are on fire and I don't know how I'm going to get through all my work this week! Nose so bad I only just rescued a drip from dribbling on the photocopier 🤣

Sorry to hear you're having a mare with the long haul again but hoping some answers really soon at your first appointment. Maybe your body just decided to keep your eggs warm while the docs help get hubs swimmers ready 🤞 golden egg coming over the rainbow soon my love 🌈
@CycloGoose it's totally understandable your anxiety at the moment chick but hopefully at your 6 week scan you feel reassured a little bit when you can see your little baby beans heart beat 😘 can imagine it'll be a beautiful moment for you both 💖 when's that booked in for? You never know sweet, could always be more than one heart beat in there :p

Thank you for the golden egg, I may claim this egg one day 🤞🏻💖

@CycloGoose how's things over at your end darling I hope you are all well and everything's going smoothly for you at the moment 👶 🤞🏻😘

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:42

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange keep us posted on your checks darling, what do they consist of? Bloods and ultrasound checks and swabs, something along those lines? Good luck with your partners SA 🤞🏻 my hubs got his results back live 6 days after doing it so hopefully it's similar for you :)

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:40
@Bookbug92 they tested on day 21 and said I did ovulate on14th day. I also dtd that night and nothing :(
Just got another BFN 💔
Sending lots of love hunny, I know the BFNs are hard to swallow sometimes when it's something you want so much, let's hope you get your answers soon whether it's AF with a new cycle chance or your BFP 🤞🏻

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:39
@kaylsd referencing is the bloody devil. Just when you think you're finished! What's a revalidation, is it one of those things you do after a year in the job or something? How are you getting on? Smile X
Yeah similar hunny, so every 3 year every practicing nurse has to submit to the NMC evidence of so many hours practice, evidence to say we are keeping up to date with our training and reflections of practice in order to maintain our PIN number to be a nurse in a short summary :)

I'm doing okay thank you darl! Just smashed out housework and got in the garden to top up the little tan I have going off, I'm on CD 35 no AF no BFP so presuming I'm in for the long ride once again 🙊 how are you getting along sweetheart? X

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 08/06/2021 09:03

@Veronika13 I hear you, so sorry you are feeling disappointed. You’re right, got to keep trying and one day you’ll get your BFP. Like you I find some months harder than others but no matter how hard I find it, after a while I recover and enthusiastically start with the new month of testing, BD etc. I hope you feel better already.

I found this month hard too. I have my fertility checks on Monday and really wanted to be the lady that turns up pregnant but alas, it’s not to be! Also my partner is having his swimmers checked and has to abstain from BD for 3 days right when i should be ovulating this month 🙄 but to be honest is an enforced month off from the whole thing necessarily such a bad thing?!

Veronika13 · 08/06/2021 08:25

Thanks @CycloGoose I tested on 14dpo.
My DP phoned me as I was in supermarket and asked if I'm okay (he didn't know I tested).

I ended up bursting into tears in the middle of the aisle and just couldn't stop crying. This month hit me hard. Gotta keep trying 😀❤️

CycloGoose · 08/06/2021 06:07

Big love @Veronika13 it's so hard seeing that stark white every month. What day did you test? FMU? Not over until the fat lady sings.
Seems a good sign that your cycle is 'normal' anyway so 🤞🤞🤞 your time is soon.

Hope everyone is okay XXX

Just got another BFN 💔

Bookbug92 · 07/06/2021 20:29

@Veronika13 usually on day 3 they test for FSH, oestradiol, LH and prolactin. They should also test your thyroid function too.

On day 21 it should just be progesterone to see whether you have ovulated, but if you don't ovulate on day 14 then the result may be a bit out of whack!

minthumbugs · 07/06/2021 18:06

Veronika13 · 06/06/2021 23:59

What bloods for on day 2-3?

I've only done AHM tests and bloods on day 21, but no doctor said anything about day 3
Tests Confused

justwant2beamum · 06/06/2021 17:02

Aw ok, well they said and I've also read you can do the day 3 bloods days 2-5. Yeah I've actually looked at the medichecks package I think I'll do that. Thanks girls baby dust to everyone ✨

kaylsd · 05/06/2021 10:51
@kaylsd thank you I'm only 27 so would have hoped my results should have been excellent, but they're definitely not especially for my age. Also I don't have irregular or long cycles. I was always 28/29 days before mc and since mc 25-27. This month my positive OPK was CD15 (today) which is what it was in jan when I fell pg so hopefully cycles going back to normal. I am really worried about the fsh 7.1 though especially at 27. I've ordered coq10. I'll raise why they haven't done AMH. I'm furious they didn't do that. Those bloods were done day 4 as my day 3 was a Sunday, so would fsh be higher on day 4 than day 3 do you think? Xx
It could vary chick because I'm sure they have to be done exactly on day 3 to be accurate as it can fluctuate? You can get a finger prick AMH bloods I'm sure @CycloGoose had hers done through medichecks? I had my done from GPS but it's rare they test for it as routine and normally expect to go private for it,

snap on the age thou I'm 27 💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️xx

kaylsd · 05/06/2021 10:50

@minthumbugs

Wow it must mean even more then *@kaylsd*, that's amazing! Yeah, I have a place for a Master's degree starting in a couple of months. Dream career but depends how things go. Can't think that far ahead atm. Xx
Hopefully everything happens for a reason and goes to plan for you darling, I know a lot of work and studying goes into masters as my hubs sisters just completed her masters in psychology! I don't think I could think about going back to do a masters, after I did my degree i fist pumped the air with the thoughts of never having to reference again.. then came my revalidation where I have to reference 😩😩😩🙈🤣 I thought I escaped but I was wrong!
@Bookbug92 OvuSense is an internal thermometer so you have to get intimate with it every night if you catch my drift! It looks like a giant sperm as well just saying 🤣

@justwant2beamum the NHS won't do your AMH you'd have to pay privately I think but you're looking good. Just saying what next options could be. Talk to your GP too XXX

@Sandiesands good luck and stay strong! Sorry to hear about your MMC. XXX

@kaylsd where's my Mabes gone!? Do you know the kiddie books That's not my xxxx it's xxxxx is too xxxxx. I feel like that! That's not my Mable her hair is too short!

Good to get the recognition at work even if it's not quite what you're looking for. They obviously think you are good at what you do.

I've unwound a bit but I'm super stressed. Lots of deadlines the first two weeks and then things should begin to improve. Not long until summer ❤️
Omg I remember reading those books when I was younger, I should do my own author on it by saying where's my mable?! We've just come back from a early dog walk before it gets too warm :') I've kinda calmed down today about her hair cut I've just never seen it so short in my life, here she is vibing in the sun 💖🥰 have an amazing weekend 💖 try to relax the best you can before a manic Monday at work xxx

Bookbug92 · 05/06/2021 10:28

@CycloGoose definitely not like a fitbit then!! 😳🤣

I'm so confused, my cycles are usually 38-40+ days long. This was supposed to be my fertile week but I never got a peak on my CB OPKs but I had ovulation confirmed on my Natural Cycles app using bbt for Wednesday. But since Thursday I've had brown loss on wiping (tmi sorry) and today I think I've come on - on cd 28. This completely throws the spanner in the works for my HyCoSy as it isn't booked until the 25th! 😩 and I've never had a 28 day cycle! I'm thrown now!

justwant2beamum · 04/06/2021 22:14
@kaylsd nothing... not a thing. nada! That is amazing news about work, that must have made you feel so good. Must be a clever cookie. Even if you don't want to do it for your own reasons it just shows you are good at your job! X

@Sandiesands sorry to hear that, time does have a funny way of slowing down when you don't want it to!
It's the first bit of recognition I've had from the place, it's normally a case of tumble weed flies past before anything nice is said! How's things over at your work hunny? Am I right that your considering a new change but unsure whether to take it or not? Xx

kaylsd · 04/06/2021 21:15

@minthumbugs

Omg cross posted, *@kaylsd* that CANNOT be Mable!!!
It is, I'm so upset by her cut 🤣🤣🤣 she's took too much off her as she said because of warm weather she took more off, soon as I walked in from work I said to hub who is this dog and where's my lion cub gone! Just look at a days difference 🙊
