SilverLining · 15/11/2004 20:18

Tania - know exactly what you mean about not holding your breath - been there and done it!! I guess the only way to look at it is one step at a time and I think when you have made the effort to crack it then if you do have a little lapse its easier to get back into it?? Thats what I tell myself when yet again I'm surrounded by perfect children!!! (I actually don't believe their mothers and think they lie!!!).

Going to have a long soak in the bath as not sure if I've got a cold on its way! Hope Jeddah's knee is improving and everyone else is OK!

xxx

Morning Tania! Good on your DS for sleeping through - isn't it a great feeling!! DD has been a little star all weekend too! She only woke up to ask for her blanket and then went straight back to sleep - no asking for Mummys' bed! perhaps we have both cracked it??? Touch wood quick!

Sorry you got an early AF, I'm due on Friday or thereabouts and am trying not to notice every twinge although my boobs are really tender and hard but I know I've been here before and been incredibly disappointed!!

Hope everyone else is OK - work still horrendously busy so no real time to chat! Thinking of giving up in September when DD starts pre-school and hopefully I will be pg later next year with a bit of luck ....

Well another neg opk and feinter still. It's quite strange when you look at my chart that I had a temp dip and rise a few days ago and the opk was still neg but darker. Dare I say that this is indeed a factor of PCOS and that my levels are off all over the month? Not going to get TOO depressed though, there is still hope!

Tania2 · 15/11/2004 20:00

Good morning girls havnt read through yet just wondering if anyone is still up. DS is still asleep in his own bed all night didnt wake once

you are a ttc encyclopaedia geordie! thanks for that - it's nice to have some idea what's going on.

where are you at this cycle?

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:35

lol- leutal phase- the days after ovulation. you need enough days for the right level of hormones to build up that would support a pregnancy!!

e.g 12-14..the closer to 14 the better!!

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:34

LOL - crossed posts but that's what I really needed to know!!!!

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:34

it does geordie - and the words good and healthy in the same sentence have put a smile on my face

(though I'm now off to google to look up luteal phase - I really do know shockingly little about my body )

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:32

so bd bd bd bd when you have it!!!

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:31

rudy...it's hard to tell O by ewcm alone....I can say that ewcm comes before O and is gone straight away day after O (I temp so pinpoint ovulation that way). Some women get patches of ewcm after O. grrrr ttc is never simple!!

But as it was 15 days ago I would say that you ovulated then and had a good healthy 14 day leutal phase!

hth

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:29

quick EWCM question....AF today and think I had EWCM 15 days ago - does that mean you O the day after you have it? Or should you BD when you have it?

I say think as I've not seen it before, or even heard of it (- I am learning soooo much from MN !) but it seemed to fit the descriptions!

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:27

well if he does delay i would make reference to it in his feedback.....'unneccesary delay for funds clearing through paypal' ....but i'd wait until he's left you good feedback first!!!

think I'll look out my persona stuff at the w/e and put it in the for sale lot.....just don't think i'll use it!!

Good luck Jeddah

jeddah · 15/11/2004 19:23

geordie you are a gem!!

I have just emailed the guy and asked him to send me my monitor!!!!!! I can't see anyway of me getting out of it!

I am not an ebay user so when he said that the funds would take 10 days to clear I thought this was the norm!

anyway thanks again let you know what happens!

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:20

meant not in the buyers bank account but it is in their paypal account...ready for them to transfer when they want...

geordie · 15/11/2004 19:17

agree with rudy paypal is instant- the money maynot be in the buyers account but it is in their paypal acc. there is no reason to delay postage. Are there ebay guidelines on this??? Not sure- you could if this goes on leave negative or neutral feedback. As a seller I post as soon as i have email verification form paypal.

Jeddah- I have a persona that I am not using - was gonna put it on ebay.....if you can get out of the other one and get your money back I'll post mine....will accpet whatever you paid for ebay one....and will post for free as it's not that heavy!!....meant to say that I would set it for you so that you were on the right cd......would need to buy some wee sticks to set it...but i presume you'd need some of those anyway??

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:13

even!

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:12

DH has just returned home with 200g of Dairy Milk. Feeling much better now - mmmmmm {grin]

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:11

munnzie - do you mean the yellow testing light??? if so, no then I don't think you do have to wait. I reset mine yesterday and the yellow light wasn't on. How far do you get with the instructions before it doesn't work???

RudyDudy · 15/11/2004 19:08

Jeddah - are you sure that is true? I thought one of the joys of paypal was that the buyer got the funds immediately and so could send stuff quickly. Whenever I've paid with paypal the buyers have always sent me the stuff straight away.

Anyway, I definitely think it's worth contacting the buyer and explaining that you need the stuff quickly. After all, who cares if he thinks you're a cheeky bitch and you've got nothing to lose.
