Hulababy - the reason I asked is that your Luteal Phase is ALWAYS the same length (unless you are taking something to increase it) therefore it sounds like FF has your O date wrong... this has happened to me a few times with FF - I've been thinking, 'I'm sure I O'd on x day' (checking other signs) and FF says it was earlier, then when af arrives I find out I was right! Computers eh?

Ooops - didn't refresh before I posted this on thread 12!

Valleygirl - the reason for day '21' is to check your level of progesterone. This can show if you have actually ovulated and whether you have a high enough level to sustain implantation, so it has to be after O.

If you do it too soon or too late in your cycle then the results might be misleading e.g. I sometimes O on day 20, testing for progesterone on day 21 for me might make the docs think I've not ovulated as there won't be enough prog in my blood, when my problem might be something completely different!

They test all the other hormones at the same time, and if you have any problems with them they'll do further blood tests at different points in your cycle to investigate further e.g. if FSH and LH hormone levels look dodgy in the first set of tests then they'll test them again before O (or something like that!)

HTH!

I am here! CD20 of a 29 day-ish cycle. Hoping that the number 13 brings us all lots of luck. Will be entering that stalemate period between ov and af soon.....
Once again, congrats to pamina!

Thanks for that Tania!

Good Luck to you all TTC - from reading your thread i went back and searched for the thread i was on when we were TTC and it has bought back some happy memories about how we all stuck together and encouraged each other to keep on trying.

Just keep telling yourselves IT WILL HAPPEN!!!

Good Luck ~~~~* x

Hi again

Just wondering. Loking at my chart on FF, compared to others, my temps after OV still seem quite low. There also isnt a steady rise. My temp goes up a bit and then just remains reasonably steady at that level. Others I have looked at seem to keep rising for a while.

Is there anything I should/could be doing to help increase whatever it is that causes the temp rise?

Thanks
