hate to break up your current topic, cause some partying and a bit of drinking sounds good to me to, but iam on cd24, so i guess i gotto wait a few more days to "get down" lol. anyway, i was just wondering, does anybody have any clue how high my chances are of having multiples, if i go through IUI insemenation, along with rounds of clomid? i want to have babies, though i would prefer one at a time, and the doctor didn't share those risks with me at all! iam alittle nervous. i have never been on clomid even yet, are the side effects really bad, cause i can be a bitch on my own sometimes lol. thanks for any help guys, and keep the taps a flowin!! and for everyone in my boat, waiting on the dreaded af to rear her ugly head, i hope none of us see her this month!! baby dust to all!!

no - the first month you do 16 tests as it builds up info about your cycle. after that you do 8 per cycle. It has a light on it and if it's yellow in your 'testing window' (a time of day you can pick) then you do a test. Otherwise the light is green or red with red meaning there's a chance of getting pg.

do u need to do the pee thing every day with persona?

Hi MunnzieB I don't know about other things as I've only used Persona. I really liked it as it was easy to use and you don't need to do much (just the occasional weeing on a stick and BD'ing, of course ) It took 3 months of using it before it told me my O days but we got pg the first time it did. 3 of my friends have all used Persona and gotten pg pretty quickly (well, less than a year anyway). HTH

(thanks for the head's up twiga) hi all! sorry it's been awhile, my computer has been on the fritz. very frustrating when i am used to using it day and night. ughh--- well, anyway here iam! i went to my specialist yesterday. after checking all of my bloodwork, sonogram, hsg test, and hormone levels, along with my hubby's sperm test, he is in awe of why iam not getting pregnant. i never saw such a professional doctor look so darn puzzled. well, what he suggessted now, is that when i get my period which is sue in less then a week now (if i get it fingers crossed that i won't), but if i do, he is going to start me on clomid, so i have more eggs, even though i have no problem ovulating, and we are going to try the IUI, for a couple times this next cycle. (where they put the sperm into my uterus w/ a cathetre), doesn't found fun, but iam excited that they are taking action with me. the only thing i can think of that may be wrong, is my lack of that fertile, stretchy mucus, when i ovulate. i tried the robitussin, but it didn't do enough. i guess the IUI, will make it so the sperm bypasses the need for that mucus, and is right in good standing for meeting the eggs. i know the odds each time, aren't as great as i would like them to be, but iam happy to try, even though the hubby now has to pay 15% of all of my doctor's visits and tests, until january 1st then they will cover everything up to $50,000. i just can't wait 2 months for this ya know? they said if this does not work i would go straight to the IVF, cause there are no other issues for them to treat. that i would definately wait for insurance to pick up. have any of you guys had this procedure done, or know any one who has? was it ever successful. i have never been on a fertility drug eigther so iam excited thoug a bit nervous as well. thanks for listening guys. i hope all is well, and that we get some more success stories on here!! baby dust to all!! I won't be testing for another 10 days or so - am in that horrid in-between time - between ov and af. Just our luck that the week I ov, all this happens!! So not holding out too much hope though still managed to bd up to ov every day and on the two days when persona said 'o'. Only day we missed was day after the o signs but managed the day after that so who knows..... Best of luck to all those testing soon
