MINNIE1 · 11/11/2004 14:00

pooka, i would book the flight to dublin, its about an hour.. and it should be safe to fly.. there's a thread about flying somewhere on MN i'll try and pull it out..

runtus · 11/11/2004 13:59

Pooka, I've said this before but not sure if anyone understood where I was coming from - when I used to smoke at college and was waiting for a bus home, you could always guarantee that as soon as I lit up, a bus would come along! It got to the point where we would spark up just to make it hurry up.......so I've decided to book things for the coming months and go on holiday now, cos knowing my luck - I'll fall pg to spite myself!

Hope that makes sense!

MunnzieB · 11/11/2004 13:57

Congratulations hester...... after 5 years it's about bloody time!!! lol. excellent news hon, now's the time thou to sit back, relax and enjoy the next 9 months, course we don't mind if u stay around.

Mudda I am completely in awe of your babydust graphics! What dedication and artistic flair
I am on day 18 now (I think) but have been using one of those ovulation testing kits and have had no surge whatsoever. Started the kit on day 10, so god knows what's going on there. Have been bdancing nonetheless, but am rather confused. Suppose must ovulate very early or very late. Ho hum. Am absolutely and really surprisingly excited by friend's pregnancy announcement last night. Am so excited, think was more so than she was. But every time friends get pregnant I feel a deeper deeper desire to be pregnant myself. And I feel ridiculous for keeping my life on hold in case I'm pregnant or have a baby next year. ie friends getting married in mauritius in april. Should I book to go too, or not. Friend (other) having hen weekend in september. Should I pay depoist for trip to Dublin or not? And every slightest twinge makes me think am I or aren't I (pregnant or ovulating - either)?
Sorry this is such a rambling post. Just feeling a bit anxious. And stupid really as have lovely dd already.

muddaofsuburbia · 11/11/2004 13:06

Babydust to all ++++++++++++*

RudyDudy · 11/11/2004 11:55

Sorry to hear about AF Yingers (((hugs)))

RudyDudy · 11/11/2004 11:53

Congratulations Hester

It is such wonderful news and has nearly brought me to tears ('cept I am in a public place and have some dignity left ). Am obviously hoping my hormonal state means I'll be joining you but it's probably as I have just had an exam and my lovely nanny told me this morning she is leaving

It is lovely to hear of other people getting pg and especially when they have been ttc for some time. A friend of mine (38) tried for 8 years and had a beautiful DS in Feb this year.

I am so happy for you and wish you a very healthy pregnancy. Please keep sprinkling the babydust around. It obviously works

Bagpuss30 · 11/11/2004 10:50

OMG just came back to check on you all - HESTER well done! I am soooo chuffed for you . Will you be on July 05? It is very quiet on there atm.

mariella · 11/11/2004 10:41

MINNIE1 · 11/11/2004 10:35

Geordie,
I finally added my stats, Thank you its a great idea..

MINNIE1 · 11/11/2004 10:28

I have to say i do feel when i see a BFP, But i know that i am trying for over a year and you ladys are in the same boat as me.. that changes any i have as i know what its like to have to wait soo long..
In a way its your time and my time will come as so will the the time come for all the TTC'rs..
You ladys enjoy your PG and were all here for you no matter what... and stay as long as you like i would do the same if i was PG...
{{{{{{HUGS TO ALL}}}}}

Geordie · 11/11/2004 10:25

Pamina and Hester- thank you for thinking of us, it is true that is can be hard hearing about BFP's and pregnancy's when one is ttc- especially when you've been ttc for a while (as you will understand hester). BUT please do continue to post here- it is encouraging to hear good news and it spurs us all on. I can't wait to hear news of the next step- scans....etc The fact that you have even said this shows just how much you deserve your BFP's!!

Stats notice
please can people check that i have their stats correct- i have posted an update on the stats board. thanks it's here

Sallie · 11/11/2004 10:25

I am on cd29 now - no symptoms either way and a silly bfn yesteday. Wish af would just start and put me out of this feeling of suspended hope! Bibi - are you testing today? Wish I hadn't tested so early. As I only ov on days 19 and 20, its probably still too early for me anyway....

runtus · 11/11/2004 10:12

Pamina dna Hester, there is no reason in the world to feel guilty of bad for a) getting pg and b) hanging around this thread. We are over the moon for both of you and love having you around to offer advice and keep our spirits up. There is nothing like knowig it IS possible no matter who we are and past posters who have been lucky enough to succeed give us hope!

You are more than welcome anytime and that goes for all past posters

Just tell us how sick you feel on a regular basis to halt any creeping jealousy!!

Hi girls,

just to say that af is now over and I am rearing to go this month. My reflexologist thinks I am healthy and doing well so that's good.....off to see her on day 21 to do a bit of work on lengthening my leutal phase by a couple of days (14 would be better than 12......apparently it can take longer to get pregnant as the hormones don't get as much chance to kick in....she's (the reflexologist) had quite a lot of success with people ttc....hope i am going to be one of those clients!!)

Anyway just gonna update the stats.......

Geordie · 11/11/2004 09:51

Hester
congratulations

another BFP to the list!!!

wonderful news granny (grin)!!! I hope that you have a very healthy nine months and beyond. WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!!
