@SS123456 if it was just the spotting I don't think I'd be too concerned, it's the fact I had a normal "period" that lasted 3 days.

@kirinm @MrsB2019x I suppose because I'm not in any pain they aren't concerned. I feel ok I'm not holding onto any hope at all to be honest, can't imagine it'll be viable. Still spotting, it's like what I'd expect implantation bleeding to be like. Very dark, old blood but it was pink last night 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wtf, can’t believe they have left it a week with your history?! How awful they are leaving you hanging in the balance. Hope you are okay xx

I'm honestly shocked that they will leave it until 6 weeks. I know there is a big thing on not scanning until then but you could get an idea of what is going on from blood tests.

How are you feeling? Are you still bleeding?

So they've booked me in for a scan next Thursday when I'll technically be 6 weeks and told me if I have any pain / heavy bleeding before then then to go to a&e. The first woman I spoke to was absolutely useless, she said "so you're 2 weeks pregnant?" ... I had to explain to her that it's impossible to get a positive pregnancy test at 2 weeks pregnant and she genuinely didn't know that 🤦🏻‍♀️ she ended up getting someone else to call me back who was lovely.

@kirinm have spoken to EPU and they're getting a midwife to call me back. I actually feel surprisingly calm about it, I'm preparing myself for the worst but kind of expected this to happen and I'm not sure why. Will update you when I hear back from the midwife x

Holy cow @whambam89 no doubting those lines! Hopefully EPU can shed some light on what’s going on for you. I was scanned at 5+2 this time and they saw a sac so hopefully they will scan you, especially with your history. A lady on our August FB group has been having heavy bleeds with clots sporadically throughout the pregnancy and baby is getting on fine Keeping everything crossed for you that everything is fine, keep us posted 💜

EPU were really good with me first time round, it was A&E that weren't when I got them faint lines last time. These are definitely much darker than then though. I've got period like cramps and heavier spotting tonight so god knows what's going on. Will keep you all updated x

I didn’t get the notification for this thread. Hi girls.

I’ve had an eventful week. Blood pressure shot right up to 185/114. Ended up being admitted to hospital and there was talk of induction, which I have wanted to avoid.

Thankfully came back negative for preeclampsia and the meds they’ve put me on have worked, so have been discharged. Just need to go on twice weekly monitoring.
Due date is Friday, which is scary!

@whambam89 also, maybe you should tell DH as you need support whether it's good or bad news xx

Those are really strong lines. I know you've been down this road before but it could all be fine and you've just had a bleed.

I was scanned at 5 weeks with my daughter so you might be able to get a scan. What is your EPU like? Were they rude to you or was that A&E?

I'm sorry you're going through this again. I will keep my fingers very tightly crossed that you've just had a bleed and everything is okay. Xx

Think the lines should be much darker now. I'll ring EPU in the morning I'd be 5 weeks going from my last period so I know they wouldn't be able to scan yet and would just offer bloods. Literally don't even know what to do... Still spotting 1.5 weeks after my period started, just did a test to check as this was my symptom with the ectopic. Top is an opk, bottom HCG - going to head out and get some more tests now. Should be 19dpo so the line on the HCG should definitely be darker by now. I don't think I even have it in me to ring the EPU and say it out loud again 😭

Period arrived 2 days early 🙄. No idea if I ended up ovulating earlier than I had assumed.

@MrsB2019x I forget that most of the ladies on this group are from "down south" 😂 hope you manage to get away before baby's here! We did an adults only holiday before DD arrived and it was bliss.

Nope, haven't heard from Claire - was thinking about her the other day actually. Hope she's getting on ok.

@kirinm still very early for a BFP, got everything crossed for you! I've not tested for a couple of months now which is good going for me 😂

I think I'm 10dpo. Tested yesterday and it was BFN so not looking likely again. I've got one test left which I'll do tomorrow and will then stop testing. I stupidly bought tests last month so had them in the house and still can't be trusted with them!
