After a 21 hour induced labour, we got our baby girl Francesca on 17/05/21 weighing 9lbs 9oz via c-section

We are completely in love. Still in hospital due to us girls having infections but hoping can go home on Friday or Saturday, depending when the 5 day antibiotics course officially ends

Good for you for standing your ground, hopefully it behaves itself and lets you enjoy your break away x

@kirinm levels had gone up again but only from 89-99 (previous 48 hours was 61-89). The consultant wanted to give me treatment and advised against expectant management but I refused treatment.. she definitely thought I was a cow but I'm hoping because of the smaller incline that the numbers will start going the opposite way. I offered to come back from holiday for more bloods mid week but they've booked me in for a scan on Monday instead x

How are you doing @whambam89 ? What did the consultant say in the end?

@MrsB2019x bloods again tomorrow, will see what happens then. My levels are still so low I might ask them to do bloods again in a week's time and obviously if I have any pain then I'll go in. We go away tomorrow and I'm bridesmaid on Saturday so it's pretty bad timing 🤦🏻‍♀️ (not that there's ever a good time for this kind of thing!)

Nearly at 24 hours with the balloon and it’s not fallen out yet which sucks because I’ve been bouncing and walking a lot.

Next step will be the gel!

Oh @whambam89 that’s shit! Have they said what treatment they’d be looking at or do they want to do more bloods first? Hopefully they respect your wishes of wanting to avoid methotrexate, it’s not like it isn’t an informed decision! I’m with @Sansa87 you have dealt with this amazingly 💜

Oh @whambam89 I'm sorry. That's not what you want. This is quite similar to what happened with mine. They went up and then down and then back up. I hope whatever happens they offer treatment early so you aren't let in this horrible limbo for too long.

@Sansa87 I don't think I could ever get excited about a positive test again, especially when bleeding is involved so I think that's helping although I have had the occasional meltdown.

HCG has increased over 20% which obviously isn't good news, just waiting to be seen by the consultant

@whambam89 Thankyou. I’ve just had the balloon put in, which wasn’t pleasant at all 😅 they’ve gone to see if there’s any chance I’m allowed home for the 24 hours.

@Sansa87 I had an induction with my DD and it honestly wasn't awful, expect it to take a little while though! It'll be worth it all once she's in your arms. Good luck. 😘

@whambam89 my blood pressure sky rocketed, and I’ve been admitted for an induction but hospital is chaotic, so no idea when it’s going to happen

Terrified because induction was like my nightmare birth plan
